So ep 7:

I’m gonna start off with what I didnt like….the shack scene. The lighting was bad. The direction was bad. At times it felt akward because it was so close up because the were shooting it such a small place.

I loved the rest.

The way Rheanyra kept watching Daemon wanting to badly to talk to him. I really like how it mirriored ep 4 when she shadowed him in the throne room. One thing I was really thrilled about was that they didn’t just have Daemon be his normal self. Last episode he was in a really bad place. He was clearly depressed and that does not just go away. You can see by the way he continues to make eye contact with Rheanyra that he walks to speak with her to but he doesn’t. When Viserys asks him to return to King’s Landing he refuses. Saying he wants nothing. Daemon has lost his fire.

We finally see Rheanyra caught up with him. The first bit of spark we see from Daemon is when she talks about how her life without him and tries to walk away. He immediately pulls her back and questions what she thinks about his life. When she finally moves in to touch him. He is hesisant and he says her name and looks up to her with vunlerabilty. Its like he can’t believe this is happening. They are both different people who are less sure of themselves. We seen that fire inside has been dimmed for both of so things between them are soft and hesisant but it works from where they are at

After the big confrontation Rheanyra tells Daemon she needs him. She wants him to be her consort and husband knowing the marriage would strenthen her claim. I love what Rheanyra says about them being meant to burning together. This such a great moment considering it feels like they have both had to extinguish their fire in the last ten years. They come up with a plan together knowing that Laenor is a problem. When you finally see them had the wedding you can see the gleam has returned to Daemon’s eye. The kiss at the wedding is everything, neither of them are holding back so you can finally see the passion rise between them with no reservations.
