One of my favourite things from episode 19 is the longest hug in the entire show that Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli share towards the end of it, starting at 33:16

and Yanli looks so happy and tiny

I love how Jiang Cheng is still holding Jin Zixuan’s Suihua

but this doesn’t prevent him from giving the best hugs (I want a hug from him)

and even when Lan Wangji and Jin Zixuan walk off to have a very serious conversation about the state of the war, Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli are still there in the background, hugging

there’s also this poor sod who must have pried Suihua from Jiang Cheng even while he’s hugging his sister just so he can give it back to Jin Zixuan

Jin Zixuan is very happy! But also! Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli are still happily hugging in the background

and they only let go at 34:08 I love them so much, that’s nearly a full minute
