Okay so I’m really not feeling great on this blog - I’m unhappy with so many things, including my characterisation, so tonight I’m going to go back & delete a bunch of things, come up with a new tagging systsem & maybe drop some threads, then do a starter call. Tomorrow, or whenever, I’ll rewatch AoU closely & then start writing Wanda again so that ( hopefully ) I’ll write her better this time around!

She came UNDONE. It was as if someone had pulled on a loose thread, unraveling her, pulling her apart at the seams and allowing her to spill out across the floor. She was NUMB, speaking, moving, as if in a trance - as if conscious thought would BREAK her because she KNOWS she was wrong. And she deserves it.

“Do you really think there is any excuse for what I did? That I can just...wash my hands clean, by saying I did the right thing?”

Wanda’s initial worry was replaced by curiosity, a frown passing over her features as she knelt down to be on the same level as the girl. Gently she probed at the edges of her mind, not enough to infiltrate but just enough to get an idea of her temperament, of the nature of her purpose. She could feel something there - something that felt similar to her powers, and yet somehow entirely different.
