A first look at Mei’s redesign, I was originally planning on saving showing her until i finished all my ref sheets but i think her cute little grumpy face is worth sharing lol

some tidbits about the design:

Mei is very much a cuddle bug.. so she is a woman of many coats. Anything that she can snuggle in <3

I’ll get into this more when I give a full rundown but her main plan of attack is always to just run in headfirst, so she has adopted the idea of wearing thicker armor (not completely though, because she is very quick and needs to be agile) but she does take on the arm so she can sorta use it as a shield to barge in if you get me

She doesn’t wear them all the time though, and her waistband can be replaced with a regular jedi waistband

The shoulder pauldron belonged to her padawan, personally i like to think that the “white” on clone armor is some sort of outer layer, and when Mei stripped it to alter the armor, the grey is the next layer below that white coat

When she was a very young padawan, she suffered a pretty nasty blow to the face which scarred deep and damaged her eye. This is where her faux heterochromia comes from, along with the white hair on that side of her head. I haven’t settled on the accidents specifics but it was definitely force related. The actual scarring on her face is pretty faint now that she is grown, but the hair and eye remain prominent.

the red ribbon in her hair may or may not have a matching ribbon around Laws wrist <3 I have yet to finish his design though so you’ll just have to take my word for it

Ghost Posters

So, while trying to get screenshots from Spark of Rebellion, I saw that the posters in the common room of the Ghost actually have translatable aurebesh on them!!

(Bonus weird Ezra)

The red one on the right is an ad for the glorious Max Rebo himself!

The orange one on the left I THINK just says Star Wars 😅

The pink one is a poster for DJ Rangthang, who was present when Quinlan Vos and Obi-Wan were talking to Jabba!

And the blue poster is actually for a character named Dasha Sigweed, which is a joke about real life Global Underground musicians Sasha and Digweed.

Thought it was interesting, especially since these are probably Sabine's posters and this is the type of music she would listen to!
