Shea sighed to himself, leaning on his side before he decided to just sit down. The smell of chinese food filled the tiny box they were stuck in. Shea didn’t say anything, he leaned forward and reached to push the emergency button before leaning back again. He could sense the distaste from Loren, but Shea still didn’t offer any words. He was used to the negative feelings toward him now. He deserved it. He glanced up at Loren still standing before resting his head in the corner of the elevator. “Welcome back,” He finally said quietly. It wasn’t biter, Shea was just tired.

Nothing seemed to be going right for Loren since the moment he had returned from his trip. Getting stuck in an elevator with Shea though, that was just the icing on the cake. “Yeah, thanks” he huffed. Leaning his back against the wall of the elevator. He gazed over at Shea and he could see that the male was obviously tired. But, he didn’t wanna ask about it. He imagined it would be tiring chasing after someone else’s man. “So.. does this happen a lot? I mean, we might as well eat this if we’re gonna be here a while, yeah?” And that right there was his attempt at trying to be friendly.

Nodding her head as he spoke, mixing did sound good. Some passion with a hint of strawberry? Now that sounded like a good drink too. Hmm, maybe she should see if she couldn’t get that as a drink at some point. “Definitely. Though, don’t want it too sweet. Can’t mistake stuff for a lollipop exactly.” Oh that poor partner getting bitten if so. Oh that poor fucker. Oh how adorable the other was as he started to blush up though. She just wanted to pinch his cheeks! “I wouldn’t say I usually buy this stuff either. But since condoms taste like death and even worse than that too, it’s fun to do some other things at times.” She said wit ha little shrug of her shoulders. “I haven’t tried to glass plugs myself though, it’s just what I’ve heard from friends who use them.”

This was probably one of the most awkward and embarrassing conversations Loren had ever had. It wasn’t that he really minded talking about sex. But usually those conversations were reserved for close friends, not complete strangers. “Yeah, that’s true. Wouldn’t want someone to end up getting bitten” he mused. A shy smile still playing at his lips as he listened to her explain her knowledge. “It definitely can be fun to spice things up sometimes and you’re right, they do taste like death” he chuckled. “I appreciate the help though, please let you’re friend know that if this all goes wrong, I’m coming for them” he teased. The tone in his voice letting her know that he wasn’t being serious about  coming after her friend at all.

Description:Jace tells Loren about his kiss with Shea after he see’s him in the jacuzzi with Brie at the party. They end up having a brief argument and end up getting back together.

Trigger Warnings: feels feels feels

Loren. Loren walked into Jace’s room not even bothering to knock. He figured there wasn’t anything he hadn’t seen before and knowing he was alone definitely helped. “Hey, bb” he smiled softly as he sat on the bed beside him. “What’s up?”

Jace he took a deep breath. “This is some hard ass shit were going through.” He finally spat out. “Like I don’t feel like myself.” He said to him, turning to look at his ex. “I hate this”

Loren. Loren was staring at Jace like it was the last time he would ever seen him. He was fully expecting him to say  he wanted to be with someone else. But the words he said shocked him. “I feel the same way” he said honestly. “I just don’t want to keep pushing you. Especially after the other night. I just... I miss you.”

Jace “i don’t feel pushed. I just feel lost.” He said inhaling sharply. “Shea and I kissed.” He said out loud. “And I want you to know that because I’d rather you find out through me than someone else.”

Loren. Hearing his words made his heart sink. Even though he had half expect it, it hurt a lot worse than he thought it would. “Okay...” he forced out before standing up again. “Is that all?”

Jace “no! No.” He said to him, looking up. “It happened really fast Loren. I didn’t really see it coming.” He told him truthfully. “But I have liked him and I would lie if I said I didn’t like it? But it was just that: a kiss. We haven’t done that or anything else since then.” He shrugged.

Loren. Loren just stared at him. He really didn’t know what to say or how to feel. He pressed his lips together and shifted his eyes away for a moment to try and gather his thoughts. “I don’t know what you want me to say, Jace. That it’s okay? Cause it doesn’t feel okay at all.”

Jace “I never thought you’d be okay with it.” He told him truthfully. “I just wanted you to know before finding out some other grimiest way.”

Loren. “Well good, because I’m not” he informed. “Is that what you wanted to talk about?” He was trying so hard to stay calm and not show how upset he was by everything that had gone on.  But it was hard and he knew Jace could tell he was about to lose it.

Jace “no.” He said looking up at him. “I also mean us Loren. I feel pushed into this break up.” He sighed, hanging his head and cradling it in his hands. “Please don’t yell at me. I know you’re mad.”

Loren. “Yeah, we kinda just jumped the gun and I was stupid. I thought I wanted... you know what it doesn’t matter what I thought because like I said.. I’m stupid. Sometimes things happen in life that force you to misread situations. Or maybe I just don’t really know how to be a good friend. I don’t know, Jace. But you’re the one I’ve always been in love with, and I’m so fucking sorry I took that for granted. I’m nothing without you.. but you kissed him. You like him, you said so yourself. So now what?”

Jace “I know what you mean.” He sighed and then turned to look at him. “I don’t know but I don’t like this. I don’t like being without you.” He looked up. “I liked us. Loved us. We were gonna be married.” He nearly sobbed. “I just- I’m so broken.”

Loren. “I don’t like being without you either, Jace. But I can’t do what you did. I can’t sit on the side line and pretend it’s okay that you might wanna be with him. I told Emily that too, that you’re a lot stronger than me. But you know damn well if you’d drop him I’d be right here waiting.”

Jace “you ARENT listening. At all.” Jace said turning to look at him. “I am saying that he kissed me. It just happened. You’re main focus is that it happened but how do you think I felt when you desperately Needed emily.”

Loren. Loren sat back down onto the bed when Jace rose his voice to him. He hadn’t really been talked to like that.. well, since Dom. It kind of shook him a little but it was also kind of hot to see Jace take control like that. “Okay, you’re right. I’m sorry” he nodded slowly. “I’m listening. Just tell me what you want baby. Because I’m already yours.”

Jace “I don’t know.” he said falling back on the bed. “I felt so pushed. I liked being  open. But I don’t like not being able to be with you”

Loren. “Yeah” he sighed. “Just do what you want, Jace. I’m not here to keep you from being with anyone. But if and when you do want me. You know exactly where I am.”

Jace “you literally just don’t get it- I want you loren. Idk how many ways I have to say it”

Loren. “No, I get it, and I said if you want me you know where I am. The only person keeping you from me is you.”

Jace “what the fuck? How?”

Loren. “Because you keep saying you want me and you don’t do anything about it. I was throwing myself at you the other night and you said you needed space. I’m trying to give you space. But I’m right here. I’m right here Jace. Do something about it.”

Jace “do I have to have sex with you in order to prove how bad I want you?”

Loren. “What? No. I didn’t say that at all” he scoffed. “I’m just saying, if you want me I’m right here. I don’t know how else to say it. All you need to do is tell me what you want. Open relationship? Closed relationship? Sex only? A break? Whatever it is you need to tel me cause I’m right here. I love you.”

Jace “I don’t like the break. It’s sucks” he sighed. “I love our sex.” He said to him. “I liked it open.” He admitted and then turned to look at him. “I just want my boyfriend back”

Loren. “Okay, then you have me” he said simply. “But I don’t want him here and I don’t wanna know shit about it either.”

Jace “okay loren. Damn.” He rolled his eyes, swallowing hard as he sat up on the bed. “Thanks for talking”

Loren. It wasn’t that Loren was trying to be harsh. It just hurt him to the core even thinking about Jace being with anyone else. “I mean, he can come for the party of course. But, I’d rather not think about you two doing it in here” he said honestly. It was bad enough he had to think about Emily and Nick in her room. “I’m just ready to settle and when you are let me know.”

Jace “so you’re done...with everyone?” He asked him. “No one else?”

Loren. “Yeah, I’m done. No one else” he confirmed.

Jace “no one else? Then what was going on in the hot tub?”

Loren. “That was nothing. I thought you were moving on so I was trying to as well. But I couldn’t go through with it. You’re the one I want Jace. You’ve always been the one.”

Jace “I get kissed by one guy and suddenly I’m moving on...” he shook his head. “You know me better than that, Loren.”

Loren. “I didn’t know what was happening, Jace. Hell, I didn’t even know he kissed you until just now. But yeah, my mind went to the worst possible scenario and I freaked out. I’m sorry, I just, I don’t know how to be without you.”

Jace “so I’m here now.” He said to him sternly, trying to wash the pain out of his face. “If you want to be open and do that, okay. But if not, it has to stop”

Loren. “I’m here too. I’ve always been here” he said honestly. “I don’t want anyone but you. But it goes both ways.”

Jace “you keep saying that like I’ve done something.” He raised a brow. “I’m telling you I’m here.”

Loren. “No, baby. I believe that you haven’t. I’m just trying to make sure we’re both on the same page. No one else but each other. Just us.”

Jace he took a deep breath. A long one. And nodded. He knew this was best for them. It just still hurt they had even come to this. “Okay” he said to him, nodding.

Loren. Loren moved closer to Jace as he let out a deep breath. It was obvious that everything that had happened between them since their trip, hurt them both immensely. But Loren was willing to put in the work to get them back to where they needed to be. “I love you” he said softly as he cupped his hands around Jace’s face. “Always, my beautiful boy” and with those words he leaned in to kiss him soundly.

Jace the minute his lips touched Loren’s Jace completely crumbled. He was so heartbroken by the fact they had broken up That this was the first time he’d actually released every ounce of pain he had. He was so strong but in this moment, he felt weak. He tried to kiss loren back but barely could as the tears finally broke free from his eyes.

Loren. Jace was a lot different than Loren. He would hold in all his hurt until he quite literally couldn’t anymore. But Loren on the other hand would just wild out and take his pain out on everyone around. Seeing Jace break down though, it hurt him too. He pulled him into his arms and just held him. Rocking him back and forth as he kissed his temple. “I know baby” he said softly. “But I’m here and I’m never going anywhere ever again. I promise.”

Jace he was used to people leaving. This is what they did. And here loren was about to do that. And what sucked was having to see him. Having to watch him just meters away from him doing something with someone else and trying to play like it wasn’t bothering him. He lied down next to loren, resting his face against his chest, trying k steady his breathing as he gripped on to loren like it was the last time he was going to be able to be held like that.

Loren. It wasn’t like Loren was out there intentionally seeking to hurt Jace. He honestly felt like he had lost him, and he let his jealous get the better of him. He didn’t want anything like this to ever happen again and he would spend the rest of his life making sure that it didn’t. He kissed the top of Jaces head as he held onto him tightly and he felt his own tears trail down his cheek. It was so hard for him to grasp that he has actually hurt the person he loved this badly. It made him a bit weary about whether or not they would actually be okay. But he loved Jace, and he was willing to do whatever he needed to in order to keep him. “I’m so sorry, baby. It’s over, it’s all over. It’s just us. Just like it was always meant to be.”

Jace “I b-believe you.” He said softly, still trying to grasp everything that had happened in such a short amount of time. “I’m sorry too.” He finally breathed out, keeping his eyes shut as he stayed cradled by Loren, trying to wipe his own tears

Loren. He wished so much that he could take all the pain away. That none of this had ever happened to them and that they had never broken up. Hell, they didn’t even do that right. “Jace...” he breathed out as he used his thumbs to dry his lovers tears. “Marry me? For real this time. You’re the only person I want for the rest of my life.”

Jace "Y-you still want to m-marry me?"

Loren. “More than anything in the world.”

Jace "Okay." he said softly. "Fuck yeah, i'll marry you."

Loren. He smiled and held Jace closer. “I love you so much. You’re seriously the love of my life. Ya know that?” Of course they weren’t going to rush into getting married and they both knew that. But, Jace seriously was the only person he could ever see himself being with for the rest of his life.
