i have an inquisitor who's actually an envy demon that's been impersonating a noble for over a decade

and given the envy demon from champions of the just is hilariously obvious, i'm now picturing my experienced envy demon oc looking at it like "buddy. buddy no"

Honestly, based on what Barris says, Envy demons should be a  big bad Bad among demons, yeah? But whatever I play through anything with Lord Seeker Lucius, I always think this Envy demon hasn’t… been doing this for very long.

It’s so …clunky and bad at pretending to be like a person. Like. Everyone knows something is up. It isn’t being subtle, at all. Let’s deck out Chantry folks. Let’s mock people. Let’s grandstand and make spectulars despite the fact the Lord Seeker isn’t known for doing either. I honestly half-expect it to wave its arms around Val Royeaux making spooky sounds to the citizens as it leaves.

It’s just …really cute in an odd way, like baby’s first attempt at possesion & impersonation. Poor little Envy demon, fresh-faced out of the Fade. It really hasn’t a clue. It just wants to have fun and destory the world.

He frowned shaking his head with a sigh. "Fine I will do it you don't have to say it like that to get me to do it."

He frowned his eyes narrowing at her curiously as to why she'd come to him of all people for help. "Oh?" He asked. "With what might I ask?"

His eyes widened as he glared at her. "You don't have to say it like that you know?"
