Classic Cantonese Cuisine-Hakkasan
Hakkasan is a classic Cantonese restaurant which is one of the very few Chinese restaurants that has a Michelin star (got it in 2003) and was also even included in the top 100 best restaurants in the world a few years ago. The decoration of Hakkasan is very delicate, the light of the stairs is very beautiful and amazing! Today, I go there with my friends to have a dinner.
Firstly, it comes Spicy Prawn with lily bulb and almond , this is one very delicious which use the tiger prawns with the Thai style sauce.
We also try the sweet and sour pork chops, the taste of pork is not good enough, but the sweet and sour sauce match with some fruit such as litchi, kumquat and olive is quite attractive~
For vegetable dish, we order the morning glory stir-fry in chilli, ginger and preserved beancurd sauce.  It is very juicy and delicious!
Overall, I love the subdued lighting and warm atmosphere of Hakkasan. The service is good, the price for per person of this dinner is £35. If you want to try the classic Cantonese food , Hakkasan is my first recommendation!

Fusion Chinese Cuisine-Park Chinois
Park Chinois, a very fusion Chinese restaurant, which is designed in the style of old Shanghai jazz bar. As we know, Chinese cuisine has a very long history, and it divided into different types of cuisine by areas such as Cantonese cuisine, Sichuan cuisine, and Shanghai cuisine…the reason why I say it fusion is Park chinois cooked different kinds of Chinese food in a western(new) way.
As a Cantonese, Dim sum is my favourite. because of there are no many kinds of dim sum for dinner, I choose shumai as the starter, which is make of pork and prawn in a very traditional way.
As for the main dish, we try ‘Park Carbonara’ , a dish consisted of Chinese noodle served with 65 degree egg, pancetta and sea urchin, which is very delicate. The waiter help us to mix the noodle, and divide it into three parts, it is very delicious!
The next dish is I ask the waiter for a recommendation and he says Angus beef short ribs with baby shallot and black bean sauce is very good and popular. The portion is big, the taste of the beef is quite good.
At last, we tried three different desserts. To be honest, we are a little disappointed about this three desserts because they are not tasty enough and the menu of dessert just have a few choices.
Overall, the whole Park Chinois experience is very enjoyable. The setting and atmosphere was so romantic, perfect place for a date, or an entertaining evening for both food and music. The live show during the dinner is brilliant.  The service is good and the waiters are very patient and friendly. All the main dish I tried are very delicious, but the desserts are a little disappointed. The price is £85 per person which is a little experience.

Classical Japanese Cuisine-So Restaurant
So Restaurant is a very traditional Japanese restaurant which is in the izakaya style. This restaurant has normal dining room, Japanese-style dining tables and funky lights.
The selection of sushi which is served at the perfect temperature is fresh with a nice display. Three pic of eel is excellent, the taste of the eel is quite juicy and soft!
I also try the eel bento box, the sauce match with the grilled eel is perfect. It is absolutely delicious!
The salmon sashimi is fresh and excellent! This set one of the lunch special menu which is a tofu&vegetable set, three kinds of vegetable, fried tofu, miso soup and rice.
So Restaurant not only served very fresh and tasty food but also have good service and nice atmosphere. The prices are reasonable (nearly £60 for two people).  If you want to know where you can find the most traditional Japanese food, I would recommend So Restaurant as the first one! It is definitely worth to have a try!

London Best Matcha Cake-Lanka
Lanka is one of my favourite cake shop which sells homemade French style cake. Lanka was started in 2006 and the store in the Finchley Road is the second store of Lanka.
There have different types of cake everyday, sometimes they have today special. All the cake looks very attractive~
The first cake is a green tea mousse cake which named Green Tea Panna Cotta, taste very creamy smooth middle with azuki beans. The second one is Coconut & Passion Fruit Macaroon which looks very lovely and tasty. The third one named Chocolate Raspberry Mousse which is amazing, even I don’t like chocolate, I think it is delicious! The last one is Baked Cheese Cake, it tastes very soft!
Next I went for a Green Tea Roll Cake which is the most popular cake of Lanka. Green tea roll filled with different kinds of fruits and cream. The cream in the middle is not very sweet and stodgy~  Every time I go to Lanka this is the only one I always order.
Personally, I am very enjoy having a afternoon tea with my friends in Lanka. Lanka’s cakes are very delicate and tasty! The atmosphere is quiet and warm! The service is good and the tea set is lovely! The price is very reasonable!

Classical Afternoon Tea-Aqua Shard
The Shard is the tallest building in Europe which designed by Renzo Piano. There are 6 restaurants and bars on the top of The Shard. Today, I go to Aqua Shard with my friends for afternoon tea.
Aqua Shard, located on level 31 of The Shard, serves innovative contemporary British cuisine and boasts breathtaking views from its restaurant, private dining rooms and bar.
Here are some photos we took in the Aqua Shard~ Because of The Shard is between Tower Bridge and London Bridge, and opposite the Tower of London. People on the top of The Shard can see a whole view of central London.
The night view of central London is more spectacular, this is the reason why Aqua Shard always booking full of dinner.
We try the Classical Afternoon Tea set, which included a selection of finger sandwiches,  a selection of homemade cakes, sweet treats, and freshly baked scones with homemade strawberry jams & jersey clotted cream. The desserts are very lovely and delicate. For tea, we  choose the English breakfast tea and the Earl grey tea.
Overall, although Aqua shard have a little choice of the afternoon tea sets, my friends and I love the arrangements of desserts. The price of the classical afternoon tea is about 50 per person. The price is a little expensive but it is very worthy to see the wonderful view of London.

London Creative Japanese restaurant-Sosharu #
Jason Atherton’s new restaurant —Sosharu which is based on an Izakaya, or a Japanese pub-style restaurant, a concept that is currently gaining popularity in London with other versions popping up in the city. The interior is casual but still sleek and is intended to replicate a traditional Japanese minka house and give a zen feeling of intimacy.
Dinner started with the salmon sashimi which dotted with pineapple, nuts and other flavour.
Open temaki pieces have a very good taste! Such beautifully prepared salmon, a thin layer of rice and delicious crispy shell. We only ordered one each but I could have eaten four of them!
This chicken rice pot is enough for two people, the waiter would help you to mix the chicken rice with fried garlic and sauce. It’s very delicious~
For desserts, we ordered the highly Instagrammable matcha mille crepe and matcha sorbet. Sweet layers of pastry bursting with creamy matcha custard was a perfect arrangement, but the cake wasn’t soft enough.
To be honest, Sosharu is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants. Sosharu not only has a wonderful balance between the traditional and the contemporary, but also has a good quality food and dishes.
Overall, delicate dishes with nice display and good atmosphere and service, the waiters are very friendly and patient. The bill came to £80 for two people, is not very expensive. Definitely worth trying!

Best Tapas In London-Barrafina# Barrafina is a cozy, dinner-style Spanish tapas bar with stools for Spanish small plates and sherry cocktails in central London. This restaurant which was awarded a Michelin stars, takes no reservations and it has very limited seating, You’re bound to wait for an average time of 45 minutes.
We started this dinner with small snacks, baked bread with custard sauce and prepared scallop which was very suitable to be an appetizer.
Courgette flower with melted goats cheese tempura, glazed with honey. It was basically a courgette flower deep-fried and stuffed with cheese. I liked the nice hint of sweetness from the honey at the end.
Classic tortilla is a traditional tapa of Spanish meal. They somehow manage keep the outer layer crisp and  the centre molten. It oozes out onto your plate as soon as you cut in.
The king prawn tasted as good and fresh as it looked. Apparently you can eat the shell, I have never tried that. The last fish is one of the weekly special menus, that sauces with small potato were perfect!
When my friend recommended Barrafina to me, she said they serve the best tapas in London. After this dinner, I want to say they really do it! The price of this dinner was not very expensive, nearly £80 for two people. The service of Barrafina is great, friendly and have a big help in guiding through the menu.

Japanese kaiseki Cuisine -UMU
Umu Japanese restaurant which is famous for kaiseki cuisine, was award two Michelin stars. Umu has been trading for ten years now, tucked away in a quiet Mayfair mews, discreetly hidden behind a sliding door. The dining room is all wood panels and subdued lighting, with a proper hot towel to begin the meal, as is traditional.
Because kaiseki cuisine are made by seasonal ingredients, the dishes will vary with the seasons. A simple green salad to start was very good, with fresh leaves and a carefully balanced vinaigrette; it is tricky to make things that are so simple, but the balance of the dressing and the quality of the oil and vinegar used was good.
Firstly, I tried the salmon sashimi and the Shokado bento. The salmon sashimi was excellent ! The Shokado bento box which had four elements, plus rice, pickles and miso soup on the side was very delicate~
Secondly, I tried some sushi and Tartar. The smallest amount of rice topped with unagi, scallop and lobster and simply dotted with any other flavour, sushi have a wonderful taste. I also love the idea of Tartar which was a very good combination of Western food and Janpanese food.
Finally, the whole meal was end by an ice cream with some fruit and some lovely desserts.
The Service was extremely good and friendly. The bill came to £170 for two, with just water to drink. Its expensive, but the ingredient quality is unusually high, and the chef is clearly making some real effort to the dishes. The experience of this lunch was excited and wonderful.

Dozo Sushi is a traditional Japanese restaurant which is in the izakaya style. This restaurant has normal dining tables and Japanese-style dining tables where a sunken area gives you the illusion of sitting on the floor and funky lights. While its name strongly suggests that it specialises in sushi, its main menu actually features many other items including grilled dishes, bento boxes, and ramen.
1.The salmon sashimi platter we ordered was excellent and fresh, the sushi selection was good and served at the perfect temperature.
2.The grilled salmon sushi dotted with a little shallot, sesame, chili and onion. It was very tasty!
3. This salad is the raw tuna dotted with a yolk and some black caviar, we have to mix it with the olive oil before eating. The taste was quite special!
4. Spicy pork ramen was absolutely delicious, the succulent pork with the soup were excellent~
Dozo not only served very fresh and tasty food but also have good service and nice atmosphere. The prices are reasonable (nearly £60 for two people).  If you want to know where you can find the most traditional Japanese food, I would recommend Dozo as the first one!

伦敦日料#
Roka is a modern Japanese restaurant,  The chain of Roka restaurants offer a unique style of contemporary Japanese robatayaki cuisine, a cooking method where items of food are slowly grilled over hot charcoal. The original branch of Roka opened on Charlotte Street to much success and subsequent branches followed in Canary Wharf, Mayfair and on Aldwych.
We started with the yellowtail sashimi with truffle yuzu dressing, mizuna and pickled vegetables, and the spectacular scent of truffle immediately caught our attention when the dish arrived at our table. This dish was pure perfection. The quality of the fish and the balance of the truffle yuzu dressing was absolutely flawless. It was an exquisite dish and we enjoyed it immensely. If you only order one thing at Roka Aldwych, this has to be it!
The rock shrimp tempura with wasabi pea seasoning and chilli mayonnaise came with rock shrimp that was sweet and plump.
The black cod&crab gyoza was some dumplings with a little soup inside, it is quite special and delicate ~
Kobe steak is the most expensive dish in this dinner, but this was our least favourite dish from all the things we tried at Roka Aldwych.
To desserts, a dark chocolate with green tea pudding and a yuzu mousse cake did not disappointed.
Dark chocolate on the outside and inside, a molten green tea centre that glowed an emerald green colour. This dessert was deliciously comforting, rich and decadent, and paired well with the refreshing sweetness of the rum ice cream.
All in all, Roka is a good restaurant with a great location, but the price (£175 for two) was expensive , the dishes was not very good, and we spent a lot of time waiting for the waiters.
