Ahh, I'm really happy i managed to finish a drawing heheh

Anyway!! Dagon design for my AU! Some headcanons and such of him under the cut

Some headcanons I have around Dagon + AU things

the same way Goji is bonded with Mothra, Dagon sees Battra as his family (who is based on a Cinnabar moth btw! I might try to make a more clear doodle of him at some point)

the graphic artist mentions that he was kinder and more empathetic around humans than Goji, so I imagine they "grew closer" to him when he started helping the humans hunt in their new territory (getting some of the food and a safe place to stay in general in exchange)

he was also mostly curious about them and eventually started to protect them

Dagon was around 50 meters tall, which was the average height of an individual of their species (Goji only grew up to be +108 meters tall in my au bc of radiation and he going into hibernation after Dagon's death)

he and Goji met once when they were younger and every now and then saw each other like "ohh I remember you, how are you", but only properly got to get closer when they were older; Dagon thought Goji was about to attack the village he watched over and attacked him lmao they became a couple later on, even if Goji still thought his interest around humans was weird
