Derek and Savannah sit Y/N down on her bed one night, immediately making the 5 year old nervous. She doesn't think she broke any rules, but she's not 100% sure either.
"Am I in trouble?" Y/N asks.
"No, baby, you're not in trouble." Derek assures making Y/N sigh in relief. "We have some very important news to tell you."
"What?" Y/N asks.
"Well... I'm pregnant." Savannah states.
"What does that mean?" Y/N asks, her nose scrunching in confusion.
"It means that there is a tummy in Savannah's belly... and that baby -- in about 9 or so months -- is going to enter this world and be your little brother." Derek explains.
"Can't it be a sister?" Y/N frowns.
"It could be." Savannah agrees, despite Derek's feeling of it being a boy.
"I want a sister." Y/N says.
"Well, if this one is a boy, then we will figure that all out later in life." Savannah says.
"How did it get in your tummy?" Y/N asks.
Both adults freeze, sharing looks. They have a silent fight with their eyes of which one is going to take on the topic. Derek sighs, turning back to the little girl in front of them.
"You see... when a man and a woman, um... no, actually -- it got in her tummy because God decided to put it there. Simple as that." Derek says.
"He's not gonna decide to put one in me is he?" Y/N asks worriedly. Both adults suppress their laughs at her question.
"No, baby, he won't. He knows that the person has to be ready and He knows you aren't ready to have one." Derek says.
"Good." Y/N sighs in relief.
"So... are you excited?" Savannah asks.
"Only if it's a girl." Y/N grins.
Savannah chuckles and Derek lightly smiles.
- - -
Y/N is in the round table room with Savannah, JJ, Penelope, Tara, and Spencer. It's been 6 months since she was told about Savannah being pregnant and Derek is finally back at work after recovering from something they didn't really tell Y/N about.
Y/N has found it fun shopping for baby stuff, finding all the little outfits cute. Derek and Savannah let her help with choosing the color of the baby's wall and she chose a shade of dark blue since Spencer told her that blue was a calming color.
Currently, the group are waiting for Rossi to lead Derek in as they set up a small surprise for him as it's his first day back. There's a cake on the table along with a few gifts.
Spencer is showing Y/N a magic trick, the child grinning with fascination. Penelope was listening at the door for Derek and Rossi and quietly calls to everyone when she hears their voices.
Soon enough, Rossi opens the door, him and Derek stepping in.
"Surprise!" The people in room shout.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. No, you didn't." Derek says.
"Not my idea, babe. I was outnumbered." Savannah defends herself.
"Do you like it?" Y/N asks.
"Yes, baby, I like it." Derek assures.
"I helped and was able to keep a secret." Y/N grins proudly.
"Oh, well, if you helped, then that means I love it." Derek kisses her on the head.
"How long has this been in the works?" Derek asks.
"Oh, two weeks. You didn't suspect? "Savannah asks.
"I, uh, had no idea." Derek says.
"That's good. A certain amount of cluelessness is nice in a husband." Penelope says.
"Okay, hush up." Derek tells her.
"Amen to that. A woman is entitled to her secrets, especially from a profiler." Tara agrees.
"Well, this profiler may not be changing any diapers, but I will tear up some diaper cake." Derek says.
"Oh, you look like a diaper changer to me." Rossi says.
"Yes, you will be changing diapers." Savannah states as the other three women also chime in arguments.
"Ladies, I was joking, I was joking." Derek says. "Look, baby, I was joking. It was a joke." Derek kisses Savannah.
- - -
Y/N was with her babysitter since Derek went to a poker game and Savannah was working before the two met up and went to the Lamaze class.
Y/N was getting ready for bed when there was a knock on the door. Her babysitter, Alicia, looked through the peephole before opening it letting Y/N see Spencer and JJ.
"Hey, is everything all right?" Alicia asks.
"No. We need to take Y/N to the hospital." Spencer quietly tells her, quiet enough the child doesn't hear him. JJ makes her way over to Y/N.
"Come on, sweetie, let's go pack a bag." JJ says, leading the girl to her bedroom.
"For what?" Y/N asks.
"Well, we have to go to the hospital to be with your parents so we're just gonna pack some stuff to keep you busy." JJ informs.
"Are they okay?" Y/N asks worriedly.
"They'll be fine." JJ assures, despite not knowing Savannah's condition.
JJ lets Y/N pick out things that would entertain her for however long she'd be at the hospital and JJ makes sure to pack a pair of noise cancelling headphones.
- - -
Spencer, JJ, and Y/N all get back to the hospital. JJ is carrying the half asleep girl to where she knows Derek is. JJ opens the door, catching Derek's attention and Y/N immediately bolts up, seeing her dad.
"Daddy!" Y/N wiggles in JJ's arms until the blonde lets her down. Y/N rushes to her dad, hugging him and he hugs her back, glad she's okay. JJ leaves Y/N's stuff before leaving.
"Hey, you okay, baby?" Derek asks.
"I'm okay. Why are we here?" Y/N asks.
"Well, they brought you here so you could be with me instead of alone at the apartment." Derek says.
"Is mommy okay?" Y/N asks. She started calling Savannah 'mommy' a few weeks ago; something both parents were excited about.
Derek's heart breaks more.
Y/N can't lose another mom.
"Yeah, she'll be fine, sweetie." Derek assures.
"What happened? Why is she hurt?" Y/N asks.
"She's okay, Y/N. The doctors are just working on her a bit." Derek says.
"Why? What happened?" Y/N asks.
"Something bad. Something that you don't need to hear about." Derek says.
"But mommy's hurt, so I should." Y/N says.
"Y/N, no. You're too young." Derek says.
"Will she be okay? Is she alive?" Y/N asks.
"She's fine, Y/N!" Derek raises his voice. Y/N flinches at the sudden change in volume, tears pricking her eyes. She starts crying, scared because of her dad yelling and because nobody will tell her what's happening.
Penelope was heading to the room to talk to Derek -- even with Derek snapping about her optimism earlier, she knows he's just worried -- and walks in to a crying Y/N and a regretful Derek trying to console her, but she doesn't accept his affection.
"Hey, hey, sweetie pie, what's happening?" Penelope asks. Y/N hears the voice and turns to Penelope. She walks to the blonde, wrapping her arms around her, tightly hugging her. Penelope hugs her back, trying to comfort the girl. "It's okay, honey."
Hotch walks in, gaining Penelope and Derek's attention.
"Come on, Y/N/N. Let's go get a snack, hmm? Ooh, the cafeteria has hot chocolate." Penelope says, trying to act excited about the drink as she picks the girl up. Penelope grabs the girl's backpack before leaving the two agents to their business, knowing well it's about taking Morgan off the case.
- - -
Penelope got Y/N a hot chocolate and a candy bar, hoping they would cheer her up. They're sitting in the hallway and Penelope lets the 5 year old be in peace, not knowing how to attempt to cheer her up.
"What's happening?" Y/N asks, hoping for a clearer answer this time.
"Well... your mommy is very hurt. And your daddy's really worried which is why he snapped. But he's not angry at you. This is just a very stressful situation and it's getting to him." Penelope does her best to lightly explain.
"Will she be okay?" Y/N asks.
"She's going to be fine." Penelope assures. She feels bad for possibly lying to the girl, but Y/N doesn't need to worry about this kind of stuff. She's too young.
"What about the baby?" Y/N asks.
"The baby will be fine." Penelope says.
"Daddy scared me when he yelled." Y/N says, looking down, a frown on her face.
"I know, baby. But he didn't mean to yell. And I could tell he was sorry. I think it might help your dad if you stay with him and try to comfort him." Penelope says. "Just cuddle him if he lets you. Or watch a movie on your iPad."
"Okay." Y/N nods.
- - -
Penelope left Y/N with Derek and she attempted to get him to watch a movie with her on the iPad, but he refused. He's very closed off and didn't hug her back while she hugged onto his leg for 5 minutes.
Y/N easily gave up, realizing he isn't going to be returning the affection right now. She sat in one of the many chairs and chose a movie on her iPad, putting the noise cancelling headphones on, not liking the tension in the room.
Spencer walks in the room with a cup of tea, seeing Derek standing up. He looks around, finding Y/N curled up in a chair with her iPad on her lap and her headphones on. He can tell from the sad frown on her face and the fact that she's playing with her hair and is biting the inside of her cheek that she is sad and at least slightly uncomfortable.
"Were you with Garcia?" Derek asks.
"Yeah. Here, I brought you a green tea. It won't make you as jittery as coffee." Spencer holds the drink out.
"You came instead of Garcia because you knew I'd be able to read her." Derek states, taking the drink.
"That is correct." Spencer confirms.
"And Hotch sent you here to see if I'm stable." Derek says.
"he didn't say that, but..." Spencer nods.
"I don't get jittery." Derek objects.
They continue talking, Spencer explaining when he knew Derek was in love with Savannah and also why they can't let Derek be involved with the case. Derek did figure out the unsub is a father before walking out.
Spencer sighs, wishing he chose his wording differently. He looks over at Y/N who is immersed in the movie on her iPad. Spencer walks over and squats in front of her, putting his hand on her leg to get her attention. Y/N looks up, looking around to find no Derek, so she takes her headphones off.
"Where's daddy?" Y/N questions.
"He had to go on a walk to cool his emotions." Spencer says.
"He's not very nice when he's worried." Y/N mumbles, looking down with a small pout.
"He's not trying to be mean or anything, Y/N. Your dad's just really scared and he's using anger to express it." Spencer explains. "He'll be better when he's back with your mom."
"If we knew mommy was gonna be okay, then he wouldn't be so scared, would he?" Y/N asks.
"No, I guess not." Spencer says.
"So we don't know if she's okay?" Y/N asks.
"Your mom is a strong person. And she's not just going to leave you and your dad. Or let your baby sibling leave. She'll be okay." Spencer tells her.
"Usually when you're okay, you're in the hospital for hours with no news." Y/N says.
"C'mon." Spencer picks her up, grabbing her stuff. "You want some Jell-O?"
- - -
Y/N stayed with Spencer for a little while before he returned her to the waiting room when Derek had gone back. Spencer made sure that Derek was okay with her there, just in case he wanted to be alone.
Spencer left her and Y/N is sitting on one of the chairs and Derek squats in front of her.
"Baby. I need you to listen to me." Derek cups her face so she'll look at him. "I'm sorry I snapped at you earlier. And I'm sorry for anything else. But I want you to know that I love you... so, so much."
"Why are you crying?" Y/N asks, seeing the tears in her dad's eyes beg to be released.
"I just really love you, baby girl." Derek tells her. "I'm proud to be your dad and you are one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I wouldn't trade you for the world."
"You're making me sad." Y/N says, sniffling, letting her tears fall. Derek smiles sadly at her and wipes her tears away.
"I love you. To the moon and back. Remember that." Derek tells her. Y/N nods and Derek pulls her into a hug, tighter than he's ever hugged her before. He kisses her on the head, cupping the back of her head, soaking in the moment.
He pulls away after a few minutes and places a long kiss on her forehead.
Derek wipes more of her tears away before blinking his own tears away, just in time for Hotch to come in.
Derek put Y/N's headphones back on and Hotch tried to get Derek to talk about the note that JJ showed him, but Derek insisted he didn't know anything and dismissed the subject, saying the doctor was calling him. He walked out, leaving Hotch with Y/N.
Hotch walks over to Y/N and taps her shoulder, getting her attention and she takes her headphones off.
"Come on, Y/N. You're going to stay with the team for a bit." Hotch says. He holds his hand out to her and Y/N takes it.
"Where'd daddy go?" Y/N asks as they walk through the halls.
"He's talking to the doctor about your mom right now. But we don't know how long it'll take so you're going to stay with us." Hotch tells her.
- - -
Y/N was in the room with the team and had her headphones on and in a chair facing away from the crime board. She saw fast movement out of the corner of her eye and looks up as Hotch, JJ, and Rossi run out.
Y/N is confused and goes back to her iPad until she sees more fast movement as the three agents return. She can't hear them very well, but she's able to distinguish the panic in Penelope's voice. This prompts Y/N to take her headphones off, watching the adults talk, their backs turned to her.
"--And then he stops. Why would he stop?" Penelope asks.
"He got rid of his phone." Hotch states.
"No, no, no, no. That guy's trying to kill him." Penelope says. "He's walking into a trap."
"Who's trying to kill who?" The agents hear and immediately turn in the direction of Y/N, their eyes wide as they realize she just heard that. "What's happening? Where's daddy?"
"What's going on?" Y/N asks, her eyes watery, as they all just stare at her. Spencer makes the first move and crouches in front of her.
"Okay, Y/N, I really need you to just keep your headphones on and keep watching movies on your iPad." He tells her, holding the headphones out to her.
"No, I want daddy. I don't want anybody to kill anybody." Y/N states, sniffling.
"Nobody is killing anyone, sweetheart." JJ assures.
"I want daddy!" Y/N exclaims.
"I know, but he's busy right now. He's safe and okay, but he's busy." JJ tells her. "So, Y/N, put your headphones on and watch your movie. As soon as he gets back, we will get your dad back to you."
"But he was really sad before Hotch came in. He was saying bye and "I love you" a bunch." Y/N says, worried for her dad.
"He's okay, Y/N. I promise." JJ tells her.
The team feel bad for having to lie to the girl, but know it's hopefully for the best.
"Watch your movie, Y/N." JJ says. Y/N sighs, letting Spencer put the headphones back on her and she turns back to the screen.
- - -
Y/N stayed with Penelope while the others went to Derek's location. The doctors took Savannah in for a C-section which Penelope assured Y/N wasn't a bad thing.
Y/N somehow managed to fall asleep, finally giving in to all the exhaustion. Penelope's genuinely surprised she was even able to stay up this long, but she guesses fear and worry can make you not want to go to sleep.
The team eventually got back -- with an alive and okay Derek -- and are now in the waiting room while Derek is with Savannah. Y/N is lying curled up on a hospital couch, asleep with a small blanket from home draped over her.
The team are waiting for Derek to come by with the news on the baby and are just talking to pass the time.
They soon enough see Derek walk out and turn to him.
"It's a boy!"
Everybody cheers and congratulates and hugs. The cheering wakes Y/N up, her letting out a small groan as she rubs her eyes, sitting up. She looks around, finding the team all huddled around before spotting her dad in the middle.
"Daddy!" She shrieks. The team all turn to her and smile as she hurriedly gets up, racing to Derek. He grins, picking her up once she's close enough and tightly hugging her.
"Hey, baby girl." Derek kisses her on the head.
"Are you okay? Nobody said anything helpful." Y/N says.
"I'm okay. We're all okay. And you know what else?" Derek asks and Y/N shakes her head. "You... are now the big sister to a baby brother."
"A brother?" Y/N asks.
"Hey, he's not so bad." Derek says.
"Can I see him?" Y/N asks and Derek nods, carrying her off.
Derek carries her until they're stood outside the window where the baby and two other babies are in a room.
"Which one is he?" Y/N asks.
"That one." Derek points to the incubator that's the closest. "Front and center."
"He's so tiny." Y/N whispers in amazement making Derek chuckle.
"You know, you used to be pretty tiny too." Derek says.
"That tiny?" Y/N asks.
"Not that tiny, but still small." Derek says.
"Maybe a brother isn't the worst thing." Y/N says making Derek smile. "I do still want a sister though." She states causing her dad to laugh.
"We'll discuss that in a few years." Derek says and Y/N nods.
"Is mommy okay?" Y/N asks.
"She's doing good. She might be asleep, but you wanna see her?" Derek asks and Y/N nods. Derek walks to the hospital room Savannah is in and the woman opens her eyes, hearing the door.
"Hi, Y/N/N." Savannah softly greets.
"Mommy!" Y/N quietly cheers. She wiggles in Derek's hold so he puts her down and she rushes to the hospital bed.
"Be careful, Y/N. She's a little sore." Derek warns.
"Are you okay?" Y/N asks the woman.
"I'm okay. Having a baby is just a little painful sometimes." Savannah says.
"Then why have them?" Y/N asks.
"Because they're beautiful creations and we like children. It's worth the pain." Savannah states.
"Can I hug you?" Y/N asks.
"Not too tightly, but yes." Savannah nods. Derek helps Y/N onto the bed and she lightly hugs Savannah, not wanting to hurt her.
"I'm glad you're both okay." Y/N says, cuddling into Savannah's side, the woman keeping an arm wrapped around her.
"We are, too." Derek smiles softly.

*not my gif*
a/n: A slight tweak in the "200" episode :) I don't believe they live streamed JJ kidnapping but today we *roleplay* enjoy! :)))
You had always been the sweetest BAU kid. Jack and Henry were cute but you were the sweetheart. You had been the smartest girl in your school. You stayed out of trouble because you were either at dance or studying. Henry adored you, having the regular brother and sister relationship, you were close.
When your mom was kidnapped and you were placed into protective custody you were terrified. Trying to stay strong for Henry and your mom you bottled all your emotions.
It was late in the BAU and the team was still working to find your mom. You were In your moms office on the couch. You had cried about your first breakup on this couch, laughed, played, and grew up on this couch. Now you were on the same couch wondering if your mom was alive or dead.
Henry was finally sleep in your arms when you heard your Auntie Penelope heels clacking quickly down the hall. You knew she had something about your moms case.
You had always stayed away from the round table since you were young. You walked in to ask your Uncle Spencer where he put your Harry Potter book. When you looked at the screen it was crime scene photos. It was dead family and one had a dead kid.
JJ spent days trying to get you to sleep through the night after that. The nightmares were horrible and you didn’t go to school for days.
“Come on honey you have to try to sleep for your health” JJ said rubbing small circles around your back after you woke up crying for the 3rd time that night.
So, going in that room was always a no but something told you to do it. You followed behind quietly while peaking to look at the screen.
It was your mom on the screen, she was hanging from her arms and there was a man yelling. She look like she had been beaten.. badly.
“No more games. I want integrity. She’s the price.”
The bad man was clearly talking about your mother. It made your heart clench listening to him talk about her in that way. You wanted to leave but you had to see the rest.
You seen him touching your mom and it built rage in your body. “Maybe I can make you one. Another one.” He said rubbing your moms stomach.
You had seen enough you knew how it would end. Once you got back to the office you held Henry tightly. You always wanted to keep him far away from this. He was struggling in his own way. When Mr.Hotch told you both about your mom Henry broke down and hadn’t stopped crying since.
You fell asleep shortly after seeing the video of your mom. Hours later you were woken up by your dad saying they had found your mom. This was a huge relief and Henry was so happy. You drove to the hospital quickly hoping out the car.
Once the family entered the hospital you quickly found your moms room. Holding Henry’s hand you walked slowly down the hall until you laid eyes on her.
You stood in the doorway while Henry went in and hugged your mom.
“My beautiful boy, I’m so glad to see you. I’ve missed you so much.” Rubbing Henry head and covering it with kisses. JJ looked up and seen you standing there with tears in your eyes.
You quickly wiped them and ran to your mom. “I thought I would never see you again” burying yourself on the other side causing a JJ sandwich.
JJ held you both all night never wanting to let go. You were happy she was finally home hoping she would never leave again.
——
You always performed better when your family was in the crowd. JJ knew how important it was but the case they were dealing with was also very important.
Hotch had given your mom 4 weeks off after the kidnapping. You got to spend so much time with her. Taking you to dance and picking you up from school.
“So, I perform my solo this Saturday you guys have to cheer so loud for me!” You said excitedly because this was your first solo.
“You know we are gonna be screaming so loud especially your Aunt Penelope.” Your mom had invited the entire BAU team. Hoping they wouldn’t have a case. It’s been slow these pass couple days so your mom had hope they wouldn’t have a case.
Unfortunately Saturday morning the team was needed in Michigan to assist DPD on finding a serial killer in the area. The team also needed your mother because the press was on this case bad. When JJ was called in you were the first person she texted.
“Hey, I got called in to assist on a case I’ll be back Monday. Your dad is gonna record your solo. I’m so sorry baby I promise I’ll make it up to you.” You read the text and it had ruined the rest of your week.
You were feeling every single emotion ever. Anger because she promised to come to your competition. Scared because you knew what your mom had seen on the job. How anyone could just kidnap her at any moment. This caused more anger to build inside and you thought how could she do this to you and your brother.
She almost died and possibly gotten sexually assaulted and she was already back at work. You hated her and the BAU for constantly sending her into danger.
You had won 1st place overall but it didn’t matter. The one person who you wanted to be there couldn’t take one day off to see you. It was the last performance of the season and the most important and she still couldn’t take a day away from the BAU.
Monday morning when your mom was back you ignored her. You felt bad cause you loved her she was your best friend but she broke a very important promise.
“Have a great day at school bug!” Kissing Henry on the forehead. “Have a great day babe.” she said to you as you walked right pass her and out the door.
“She’s never going to forgive me is she?” JJ asked will.
So, that afternoon during lunch you just needed a break. An escape from the perfect grades and constant pressure. You went to the bathroom just to get away when you seen Maddie and her friends.
They were smoking in the bathroom which they always do but you didn’t mind.
“Hey y/n, want a hit?” Maddie said passing you the weed infused wax pen.
You had been drunk before but you never smoked but figured it wouldn’t hurt. You needed to escape your reality for a moment.
After a few hits you were completely high. When you went for the last hit the Principal had walked in and you knew it was over.
“Agent Jareau.” Your mom said into the phone. “She did what? Okay. I’m on my way” JJ hung up the phone and quickly walked to the elevator.
“Everything good?” Morgan asked “yeah.. y/n was suspended so I gotta go get her and bring her here.” You had never ever gotten in trouble ever. Your mom knew it wasn’t like you to be this way. She was upset you were smoking but she knew it was something more going on.
She hadn’t looked at you since she came and picked you up. Even the ride back to the BAU was silent. You knew she was upset at you for getting high but you didn’t care. You were upset with her for going back to work when you both knew she wasn’t ready, neither were you or Henry.
When the elevator dinged you both walked out and into the the bullpen. The room fell quiet as the tension began to build between you two.
“Give me your phone. You’re going to sit here, sober up ,and only do homework nothing else.” She said firmly as you rolled your eyes.
“You could’ve at least taking me home but I forgot this is your home.” You said sarcastically in a whisper.
This cause both Spencer and Alex head to shoot up. You were never the type to talk back to your mom or do drugs at school. Everyone was in complete shock at what was happening. Being profilers they knew why you were acting out.
“What was that?” Your mom said in her serious voice.
“This. Is. Your home. It’s not like you’re ever at the fucking house that your KIDS live in!” You were yelling and you didn’t care who heard you. The looks on the teams face was unforgettable. You still couldn’t stop yourself.
“Y/N lower your voice now” your mom said to get you to stop but you kept going.
“Ha now you want to be my mom? You’re pathetic. Someone kidnaps you and almost rapes you on VIDEO and you hop at the opportunity to just jump right back into danger. ” You had tears in your eyes still very upset.
“You seen that?” Alex interjects you just looking at her, the look you gave her broke everyone’s heart. Seeing your mom go through that is the hard enough to deal with.
“What’s more important to you huh? Cause it sure doesn’t seem like it’s me and my bro.—“ she cut you off.
“I HAD THIS JOB BEFORE I HAD YOU OF COURSE ITS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO ME!” JJ yelled. The words just came out and she didn’t mean it that way.
Your face was soaked at this point and you were taken aback. “I hate you!” You said as she tried grab you
“DONT fucking touch me. I hate you. You must like getting kidnapped and almost dying more then us.”
This is what this is about JJ thought. After the hospital she never talked about the kidnapping. She just got through it with Will but the kids had noticed her change.
“Y/n please let me explain.” Your mom was crying while your Uncle Derek was trying to calm you down.
“No. Clearly this is more important to you then me or Henry just stay here all night how you always do. We need a break from you.” You scoffed as you grabbed your things and headed to the elevator.
You got off and started walking not knowing where you were going. You never thought you would argue with your mom. It needed to be said. Nothing will ever be the same after this.

Hiiii, can you maybe write about hotchner!reader thinking Hotch loves Jack a little more than her?
A/N: Reader in this is about 15
Tumblr media
Hotch loved both you and your brother. He wasn’t shy of showing you that but at times, it felt like he loved Jack more. He was younger and had more in common with your dad. You knew he wasn’t doing it on purpose but you couldn’t help but still feel upset. At meals, they talked more and always about things you didn’t know much about. You tried to ask about it but it was just confusing. Hotch tried to keep up with your interests but he got lost and Jack was always talking about his things so it was easier.

Usually, if Spencer was due back from a case late at night, Y/n wouldn’t worry about staying up. At the start of their relationship, she did, every time, in case he needed her. When he repeatedly told her not to, they came to an agreement.
If Spencer needed her, he would text.
So, when he did text, Y/n got everything he could need. Freshly washed blankets, candles, hot chocolate, his favorite cardigan, jello, and, of course, doughnuts with chocolate sprinkles. She pulled out all the stops, trying to keep it subtle, but Spencer would know regardless.

alvezreader! with protective dad while he’s on a case or something pls :)
A/N: Reader is 11. Takes place around season 15
Warnings: Doctors, sickness (nothing graphic), let me know if I miss any
Tumblr media
Even though your dad was on a case, you still went to the BAU everyday after school. Your dad hadn’t had time to find someone to watch you so Penelope offered to do it. She didn’t like your dad much but she did love spending time with you.
It had been almost a week since the team first left and you had been feeling sick since then. You didn’t want to worry your dad so you didn’t tell him and you didn’t want to worry Penelope so you didn’t tell her either. Throughout the time your dad has been gone, you’ve been feeling worse and worse.
It got to the point where you were contemplating telling Garcia but by the time you were going to, she had figured it out for herself.

Heartbeat (one-shot)
Synopsis: For seven months Y/N, the newest team member of the BAU, has been missing, kidnapped by an unsub they were hunting. But when the search comes to an end, Spencer doesn’t know how to feel.
Sort of an AU!/ slight crossover with Bones
Pairing: Spencer Reid x fem!Reader
Genre: angst, fluff in the end
Warnings: mentions of kidnappings, torture, wounds, blood, stabbings, hospitals, minimal swearing (minimal proofreading), mentions of drug abuse/addiction
Word count: 5071
Tumblr media
Seven months. For more than half a year, Y/N has been missing, and even still, Spencer blamed himself. How could he not? It was his dumb decision that’d led to her being captured by an unsub. It was his words or rather gestures of splitting up which’d led them to the situation at hand – one of BAU’s best agents and the woman he’d been in love with ever since they’d met MIA for seven months five days eight hours and thirty-nine minutes.
He remembered it so clearly; even if he didn’t have an eidetic memory, Spencer was convinced, he’d never be able to forget a single detail about when Y/N had entered his life.

The same girl had been picking on you and your friends for weeks. It started off small with things like jokes here and there but it slowly escalated to where some of your friends would miss school because they didn’t want to risk running into her. You didn’t let it get to you like it did to your friends. Any chance you could you would stand up to her and most times she backed off. This was something your dad had taught you.

And then, boom she gets kidnapped and Hotch has his team on it. Sorry, this is all over the place. :) love u!!!!
Before it's too late
Pairing: Aaron Hotchner x Fem!Reader x Jack Hotchner
Word count: 2.2k
A/N: AHHHH!!!! EM! Thank you!!! I love you so much!! This was an emotional rollercoaster to write, not gonna lie.
Here’s a reminder that my Requests are open and that I also have a prompt list you can choose from.
Warnings: Angst. Kidnapping. Implied rape.
Tumblr media
“Ugh, this calculus test is driving me nuts! I just don’t understand how we’re supposed to study for it.” You groaned, walking out of the doors to freedom. The chilly autumn air filled your lungs and left foggy clouds stranded mid-air as you exhaled.
“I’m sure you’ll ace it, you always do. Don’t be so hard on yourself.” Jack put an arm around your shoulder, as you walked out of the school grounds together, bumping his head playfully into yours with a giggle on his lips.
You’d spent a great deal of time with Jack growing up, having first met in class right after you’d moved to town with your mother. Your teacher, Mrs. Cooper, had asked Jack to show you around, hoping that it would help erase the painful memories of his mother.
Instantly, you’d clicked. Spending more and more time together every day, opting to do every single school project together, having endless amounts of playdates, and even trying to hook up your parents, which did not work. You felt like you’d spent most of your childhood in the Hotchner home, it was always fun and exciting to be there, especially when Mr. Hotchner wasn’t working.
Aaron always had suspenseful stories to share with the two of you, getting crazier and crazier as you grew up and could handle more of the awfulness that he experienced on his cases. Spending as much time with the Hotchner boys as you did, Aaron started feeling more like a father figure to you, than the parent of your best friend. And vice versa with Jack and your mom. The lack of a core member of each of your families only strengthened your bond, as you felt like your shared experiences were only understood by the two of you.
“Dad’s away on a case this weekend, do you want to come over tomorrow? We can order pizza and play video games?” Jack asked as you stopped outside of the gate into your apartment complex.
“I need to study, Jack.” You pointed out, still feeling anxious for the upcoming test.
“(Y/N), please! You’ve been studying all week, we’ve barely seen each other. I miss my best friend.” Jack pleaded, his sad puppy dog eyes coming into full display. He knew you couldn’t resist them. They’d gotten you into a lot of trouble throughout your friendship, but nothing bad enough to scare you away from the brown-haired menace.
“Fine, but I’m not staying over.” You gave in, saying your goodbyes as you went inside and Jack walked two blocks further to his place.
Those were the last words spoken between the two of you. You didn’t show up the following day as you’d promised. You always kept your promises and would surely have called or texted if you couldn’t make it. That was what worried Jack when he called Aaron. He’d made sure to check if you were home first, but your mother hadn’t seen you since you’d supposedly left for Jack’s.
Your phone was off, sending him straight to voicemail whenever he tried to get in contact with you.
“Dad, I think there’s something wrong with (Y/N). She’s nowhere to be found, please, help.” Jack was frantic as he told Aaron about the situation. He’d never heard him this distraught since Haley and knew that this wasn’t just a case of you being out of town and forgetting to tell him. This was bad.
“Jack!” Aaron snapped softly, trying to get his boy back to reality once again. “If you don’t hear from her tomorrow, we’ll be on our way. Okay?” He bargained, trying to calm his son down. After all, Aaron still had his job to tend to, even though he wanted to fly back to Quantico as soon as possible. He was worried too. You weren’t just the type to disappear without a trace.
He had Garcia try to hack and trace your phone, the last known location being in your neighborhood in the morning, close to the time your mother had last seen you.
When Sunday came and you still hadn’t peeped about your whereabouts, Aaron had his whole team back in Quantico asap, leaving the local police his card to call him if they needed their help on the case they’d just discarded. Although it was an unprofessional move of him, you were more important to Jack and himself to just let you wait.
It took mere minutes for the BAU to compose a plan once back in Quantico, having Garcia check surveillance, as Morgan and Prentiss went to your neighborhood knocking on doors. Meanwhile, Spencer and JJ started searching for active unsubs in the area.
Aaron made sure to rush home to his son, needing to know everything that had happened leading up to your disappearance. But all Jack could tell was “I don’t know”, his tone getting harsher and harsher as he finally had an outlet to voice his frustrations.
When Hotch’s phone rang, it was Garcia.
“Sir, I think I have something.” She mentioned before Hotch gave his permission to add everyone else to the call, which Garcia did with an instant click of a button. “Poor sweet (Y/N) was grabbed off the street and pulled into a black van. Her captures wearing masks so facial recognition is a no-go. However, I was able to get a good read of the license plate after finding a better video angle. Foxtrot, Delta, Uniform, Seven, Zero, Two, Eight. I’ve sent the plate out to all law enforcement in the area, in hopes of that being the right thing to do.” Garcia informed as she mass texted their tablets with the surveillance pictures and the license plate.
“Thanks, Garcia.” Hotch dismissed
“Anything for you, big shot.”
“Professionalism, Garcia.” Hotch sternly reprimanded, not having the energy to push it off in the current situation.
Spencer immediately started looking closer at the surveillance after Garcia had had her turn, hoping to be able to pinpoint exactly where the vehicle was headed.
The Hotchner boys couldn’t physically be within the frames of their own bodies and sit idle, so Aaron grabbed his coat and holstered his gun, as he told Jack to get ready. Walking around the neighborhood, they alternately took turns calling your name. The power in their voices slowly descended as darkness started to fall over the city, only being illuminated by the lamps evenly positioned around the neighborhoods and streets of Quantico.
“Hotchner,” Aaron answered as his phone started buzzing in his phone. “I’m on my way.” He announced as he started turning back towards their apartment to get his car.
“Was it (Y/N)?” Jack impatiently asked as he felt the nervous jitters in his body.
“Jack go home!” Hotch sternly said, his focus narrowed on the SUV at the end of the street. If Jack hadn’t been with him, he’d have started running towards it. But he didn’t need him to worry more than he already did. “I’ll call when I know something, okay?” Hotch said before speeding off towards the location he’d been pinged off about. Jack couldn’t help but think that there was something terribly wrong, that you were hurt, potentially even dead. He didn’t like those thoughts, but couldn’t seem to shake them again. The memories of his mother’s passing rushed through his brain and engulfed him in darkness.
***
You heard the commotion outside the place you were being held in, the loud sirens filling your ears as the last hope slowly started to drain from your mind. You felt defeated. Your beaten-up body couldn’t take any more of the torture, all because he wanted to know something that you didn’t even know about yourself. The whereabouts of your father. You hadn’t seen the man since you were four and had no memories of him, other than the time he took you to the park, but that was it.
A startled whimper left your lungs as the doors were kicked in and armed officers rushed through it. Your pupils retracted as a sharp light, probably from a flashlight you thought, blinded you in the process. Once used to the brightness, you noticed the gun pointed at you by the uniformed officer. Your chest was heaving with fright.
“Get away from her!” You heard an all too familiar voice yell somewhere behind them. The tears started flowing from your eyes as you realized who it was. When Aaron got closer to you, the sight he was met with was unbearable. Shivering, severely underdressed, he noticed the cuts and bruises covering your naked thighs and arms. Clearly from forcefully being held down.
He crouched down in front of you, quickly releasing you from the binds that held you in a sitting position on the ground. You fell into his arms, sobbing as the devastating truth of what had happened to you finally caught up with you. Even though you’d been missing for less than 75 hours, so much could happen in that span.
“Mr. Hotchner, what happened?” You sobbed, trying to wrap your head around everything. You were confused. Everything had happened so quickly.
“Sweetheart?” He softly murmured as he wrapped you in his jacket, trying to get some heat into your already light blueish tone. “Can we talk about this later? You need to be seen by a medic.” He lifted you up into his arms like you weighed nothing and helped you outside where an ambulance was waiting for you. “Oh, and please call me Aaron, I think we’re way past the formalities.” He joked, hoping to keep some light in you as you had to come to terms with your situation once you’d regained full emotional capacity again.
The paramedics quickly got you strapped in on the stretcher and wheeled inside of the ambulance.
“Please don’t leave me alone, Aaron.” You begged, staring at him. He swore he’d seen those puppy dog eyes before, as you’d probably learned that un-resistible trick from his own flesh and blood.
“I never would, sweetheart.” He spoke softly to you, deeming that Jack could wait until the situation was fully under control. He hoisted himself into the back of the ambulance, holding your hand in comfort for the route to the hospital.
***
The doctors at the hospital kept on treating you for endless amounts of hours, nursing you back to health before they even let Aaron enter the room. He’d called Jack, telling him that you were okay, but there’d go sometime before you were ready to see him. He felt bad for rejecting the two of you to see each other, knowing that your relationship was like brother and sister.
A careful knock landed on the door into your room, before Aaron’s head popped into view. The emotionless expression on your face instantly told him everything he needed to know. You were still confused but felt the numbness in your whole body.
Aaron dragged a chair to your bedside, taking your hand in his, and gave it a loving squeeze, hard enough to catch your attention. A single tear fell from your eye as you looked at him. They’d told you what had happened, that they needed to do a pregnancy test on you, just to make sure. Thankfully it was negative, but the lingering feeling of disgust was still rooted deep within you.
“Why me.” You whimpered. Aaron cupped your face with his free hand, using his thumb to wipe the tear away.
“I can’t really answer that confidently, (Y/N). But I had a look into your father while you were out. He was not a good man, criminal at best. He ripped off a lot of people, bad people. And even though you don’t know him, you’re the easiest person they could find connected to him.” Aaron explained, seeing the changing expression in your eyes, as you were shocked to learn these things. You sighed.
“I spoke to your mom, she’s sorry that she can’t come. She couldn’t get out of the business trip. But I’ve promised that Jack and I will take care of you.” Aaron softly smiled at you, seeing the disappointment. As much as you loved your mom, she was never really there for you, it seemed to you that her job meant more than her own child. You couldn’t blame her, not after learning that you’d been an accident, that she never meant to have kids.
Aaron on the other hand, he seemed like the perfect parent, growing up you sometimes despised Jack for having such a caring and attentive father, even though he was gone a lot of the time. He always made time to come to school events or spent time with his son whenever he was home. Not like your mother, it was always just work with her.
He sat with you for as long as you needed. You were interrupted by the familiarity of the young Hotchner’s voice popping into the room. “(Y/N)!” He said, shocked by your appearance. “You look awful.”
“Jack!” Hotch reprimanded, thinking that it was too early in your recovery for your usual friendly banter to start.
“Thanks a lot, so do you, cry baby.” You smiled, seeing his puffy red eyes. You both fell into a fit of laughter, knowing that when the two of you just had each other, nothing could stop you, even if the world decided to hurt you.

As soon as your suspect finally opens the door, letting ESU storm inside to arrest him, your eyes start searching for Nick. He’s the one person you want and need to see right now, more than anyone.
And as if he knew your thoughts, he comes in once ESU has escorted the man who’d held you hostage out, running into the apartment. His head whips back and forth, the only thing on his mind being finding you.
“Nick,” you croak out, tears threatening to spill as soon as his warm eyes meet yours. His eyes soften as soon as he sees you, and before he can even think about his actions he’s already running towards you. You hold your arms out to him, and it breaks his heart to see you look so weak, so vulnerable, so scared.
“Nick,” you whisper, your voice soft now as soon as his arms are around your waist. He’s pulling you into him, as close as he can manage, trying to ground you and make you feel safe after the few hours of hell you’ve just experienced.
“It’s okay,” he mutters, over and over, even slipping into Spanish a few times. He strokes your hair, keeping your head on his chest while trying to shield you from the flutter of movement and chaos happening around the two of you now. He swallows hard, trying to keep his own emotions in check as he feels your shoulders shake with sobs. “It’s okay. I’m here, you’re safe.”
After a few minutes, when you’ve calmed and your grip on Nick has loosened, he wraps his arm tightly around your shoulders and walks you out of the apartment. He pushes the door open, keeping you close to him as he walks you out to the others.
“Y/n,” Amanda breaths, turning to see you first. Fin and Liv soon turn, all three making their way over to you. Nick can tell they want to hug you (well, Olivia and Rollins, at least), but they stay back, giving you space.
“Are you okay?” Amanda asks, her eyes fluttering up and down your figure.
You nod, your head falling onto Nick’s shoulder. “Yeah, I’m okay.”
“Let’s get you checked out,” Liv says, and you nod, your exhaustion clear as both she and Nick walk you over to the ambulance.
You sit down inside, your legs hanging off the edge as the paramedics check out your injuries - all superficial.
Nick reluctantly turns to walk back to the others with Liv, but you reach out and grab his arm. He turns, his soft gaze falling on you.
“Please. Don’t go.”
He looks up to Olivia, asking her if she was okay with that. She immediately nodded. “You stay here - the others and I can take care of everything else.”
He nods, sitting on the edge of the ambulance next to you, holding one of your hands firmly between both of his and squeezing.
Once you’re deemed well enough to head home, Olivia lets Nick take you - you selfishly won’t let him leave you, but he’s not complaining. And really, Olivia isn’t either. She’s seen how much you care for each other, and she’s grateful that you have someone to keep an eye on you right now.
You’re quiet the whole way home, Nick’s jacket pulled tightly around your shoulders. You’re still clinging to it when he walks you up to your apartment, and he’s half tempted to leave it with you until you hand it back at the door.
However, Nick follows you in, wanting to make sure you’re settled before he leaves.
“I...I’m going to go change, I guess,” you say, looking around like you’re unsure of what to do. Nick gets it - you’re coming down from the shock and adrenaline.
He stays in your living room until you come out, looking warm and slightly more at ease in an old hoodie and a pair of flannel pajama pants.
He lowers his chin, looking at you softly and feeling grateful when you meet his gaze. “You gonna be okay tonight?”
You nod, and you mean it. You just need the adrenaline to wear off first.”
“You’re sure?” He asks, feeling worried about leaving you. “Because I can stay. It’s not a problem. I mean, I have clothes in my car and - ”
“Nick,” you say softly, a laugh leaving your mouth. “I’ll be fine. Go home.”
He sighs, but nods. “You can call me whenever you want - you know that, right? Even if you don’t have a reason.”
You nod, giving him a soft and tired smile. “I know, and I’m grateful. But I’ll be fine, I promise.”
Nick smiles, shaking his head at how strong you are, or at least how strong you try to be. And he knows it’s not going to do either one of you any good if he argues. “Okay. I’ll come by tomorrow - you aren’t supposed to come to work tomorrow.”
You roll your eyes. “I know, I know.”
“I’m glad you’re okay,” he says, smiling at you as he walks to your door. “Goodnight.”
You wave at him, your eyes feeling heavy. “Goodnight.”
He leaves, and after standing in your living room for a moment you go to your room to try and go to sleep, even though it’s still early.
––––
You bolt upright in your bed, having broken out into a cold sweat from the nightmare that made you wake up in the first place. You’d been back in that apartment, a gun held at your head once again as you tried to get him to let the kids go.
You run a hand through your hair, wiping tears you didn’t even know had fallen. You try to even your breathing, reaching over to grab the glass of water on your nightstand. You’ve dealt with nightmares before, and this wouldn’t be the last time.
You eventually even out your breathing, calm yourself down, and try to get yourself to go back to sleep. But after twenty minutes of tossing and turning, scenes from the nightmare and the actual events from earlier in the day keep you awake.
When you settle on your side, you find yourself staring at your phone, Nick’s words from earlier ringing in your ears.
And before you can decide against it, you’re grabbing your phone and dialing his number.
He picks up on the fourth ring, his voice gravely as he answers. “Amaro”
You grimace, forgetting how late it was. “Hey, it’s me.”
You hear a rustle of sheets as Nick bolts up in his bed. “Is everything okay?”
“Yeah, yeah,” you say, trying to wave off his concerns. “I just...can’t sleep and I didn’t know what else to do.”
“Okay,” he says, and you can hear more movement on his end of the phone. “I’ll be there in thirty.”
“No, Nick,” you say, already feeling bad for calling him. “You don’t have to - ”
“No, I want to,” he says, and maybe it’s the earnest tone of his voice of the exhaustion in your system, but you don’t argue.
“Okay,” you say, rubbing your eyes. “I’ll leave the door unlocked.”
“You will not,” he says, and you can’t help but laugh. “If I come there and your door is unlocked I’m never bringing you dinner again, got it?”
“Got it,” you say, smiling as he says goodbye and hangs up.
Twenty minutes later thanks to Nick’s semi-reckless driving, he knocks on your door. You open it, and he’s happy to hear you undoing the chain lock and unlocking the deadbolt.
The first thing he sees is the back under your eyes, and the fact your eyes are red like you’ve been crying.
“Hey,” he says softly, stepping back into your apartment and gently closing the door. You start walking over to your couch, and he follows you, sitting down next to you and placing his arm over the back. “Couldn’t sleep?”
You shake your head, your bottom lip between your teeth as your eyes avoid him. “No. I mean, I fell asleep, but then I - “
“You had a nightmare,” Nick finishes for you, the hand on the back of the couch coming to rest on your back. You nod.
“I woke up, and for the first few minutes I was fine, you know?” He nods - he does know. “And then I just started thinking about everything all over again.”
You’re starting to get worked up now, and Nick watches you carefully. “And for a second, I just felt all the fear and anxiety all over again, and - ”
As soon as Nick sees the tears start welling up in your eyes, he wraps his arms around you and pulls you into him. You relax into him immediately, suddenly very grateful that you called him. You sniffle, and you feel Nick’s hand start running up and down your back soothingly.
He starts softly shushing you again, just like earlier. “It’s over. He can’t hurt you anymore.”
The two of you stay that way for a while, into the early hours of the morning when you finally feel safe enough to fall back asleep.
And that’s the fact that strikes Nick as odd. That he was the person you called, the person you looked for once the situation was under control, the person you asked to stay with you.
The person that made you feel safe enough to fall asleep.
He’s not sure he’s ever been that person for someone before, not even Maria, and it makes him feel an emotion he’s not used to, nor is it one he knows how to describe.
But it makes him hold you a little tighter. Makes him want to protect you even more.
It makes Nick Amaro realize that you’re someone he wants in his life for a long time - for as long as you’ll have him.
And he knows now isn’t the time to bring up such things, and he’s okay with that. But he decides, right then and there, while you sleep in his arms, that the first chance he gets, that he’ll ask you how you feel about that idea.

The Reunion
Spencer Reid x Daughter!reader
Someone Spencer thought he’d never see again comes back into his life. Takes place in season 10
Word Count: 1,887
A/N: This can be read as either a second part to this or by itself
Warnings: Absent mother
Tumblr media
As soon as Spencer set foot inside the police station, he saw her. He froze in his path, making JJ run into him.
She stepped out of his way and looked at him, “See a ghost or something Spence?” she jokingly asked.
“You could say that,” he mumbled quickly before he made his way into the makeshift office the chief had set up. Everyone else was being paired with an office to go to the crime scenes. He was in charge of the geo-profile and interviewing friends of the victims. He hoped she wasn’t involved in this case and maybe it was just a coincidence. Maybe it wasn’t even her.

Heyy! I saw your Sickfic/Comfort Prompts List and really love to send some of them in, cause I'm like the biggest sucker for those fics.
Scenario: Person B carries a passed out person A to bed
Teen!Reader: “Can you please come and get me?”
Spencer: “You’re shaking.”
Also Spencer: “You need to wake up for me, just for a second, it’s time to take your medicine.”
Thank you! <3
Spencer didn’t expect to get a phone call from your school. He couldn’t think of any reason why they would be calling this early in the day.
“Dad?” You said over the phone.
“What’s wrong?” He asked. Normally you work just use your own phone to call him.
“Can you please come and get me?”
“Can you tell me what’s going on first?” He asked, already packing up his things. You never asked to go home early from school so he knew something was going on.
“I’m not feeling well,” you said.
“Okay I’ll be there in a bit.”
~~~~~
Spencer picked you up from school and drove you back home. When you got out of the car and started walking into the building, your dad stopped you.
“Y/n you’re shaking,” he said.
“I’m cold,” you said, wrapping your arms around yourself to keep you warm.
“Here,” he said, slipping off his jacket and draping it over you. He wrapped his arm around your shoulders and helped you inside and up the stairs to the apartment.
You two got inside and you immediately fell onto the couch and buried yourself into the blankets. Spencer went into the kitchen to get you down medicine but by the time he got back into the living room, you were asleep.
He crouched down next to you and moved some hair out of your face, “Do you want to stay here or go to your room?”
“Room,” you mumbled, “Can you carry me?”
“Sure,” he replied, lifting you from the couch and carrying you across the room to your bedroom. He set you down and let you get comfy, “I’ll let you sleep for now but I’ll get you something to take soon.”
~~~~~
A few hours later, Spencer came into your room with medicine like he said. He walked over to the side if your bed and sat next to you. He shook your gently to try and wake you up.
“You need to wake up for me, just for a second, it’s time to take your medicine,” he said softly. You didn’t stir at all so Spencer shook you again, this time doing the trick.
“You’re mean,” you groaned, “Let me sleep.”
“After you take this,” he said, helping you sit up and then handing you the medicine, “Then you can sleep all you want.”

spencer reid + prompt number 7 requested by anonymous
pairing: spencer reid x reader
warnings: kidnapping, trauma
prompt: “please just... take me away from here”
fandom: criminal minds
In the mysterious dark basement, you struggled against your restraints. You had no idea why this psycho chose you to kidnap. What you did know was that he meant to kill you. You needed to escape now before he got back and carried out his murderous plans.
So far things weren’t looking good for you. You’ve barely wiggled out of the ropes that tied your hands together and the sound of footsteps was growing closer. A cry of defeat echoes from your lips when the basement door suddenly swings open. He’s back.
Except you’re not met with your attacker. Instead several flash lights shine in your face as a booming voice announces that it’s the FBI. You’re not entirely sure if this is a trick or not but you yell out anyway. “Here! I’m right here! Help me!”.
As the other agents scope out the room for any potential threats, one rushes over to you to assist with freeing you. He’s not exactly what you’d expect an FBI agent to look like. He has a soft face, kind and intelligent eyes, and his touch is gentle as he removes the ropes from your wrists.
“My name's Agent Reid, you’re okay now. Are you hurt? Do you need any medical attention?” The young man asks, scanning you for any sign of injury. You’re shaking but having him near makes you feel oddly comforted in this traumatic moment.
You’re not sure what came over you but you desperately grab hold of him. “Please just... take me away from here” you beg. Agent Reid obliges, putting his arms around you and escorting you out of the basement.

Emily had wished she didn’t have to move the two of you to London. You had just started kindergarten (after already missing part of the year because of her “death”) and you were already leaving again. She knew it was for the best and knew you’d be okay and make new friends. Emily had prepared you for the move, letting you say goodbye to all your friends and everyone on the team.
It had only been a few days since you got to the city, but there were still lots of full boxes. Emily was finding it difficult to unpack the boxes and keep an eye on five year old you, so she called in some help. She called in the two people she knew could keep you distracted and help her unpack.
