They were deadly; they were poisonous. As their fathers used drug trafficking and assassinations in their favor, the Banshee squad created terror all over Omerta as the ones who exposed long-held secrets and names. They weren’t whispering, they were screaming.

Not they’ve returned with a purpose: if several banshees gather at once someone holy will die.

Poisoned Blood Worldbuilding

Saints – Saints are humans, who were previously appointed by a heavenly light (possibly God) to serve as messengers of faith and defeat decadence. Unaware of their purpose, some Saints believe they’ve been cursed and are oftentimes avoided or feared, With Athos being split into two fractions – pro-Saints and anti-Saints, there’s no clear concept of how to treat them and the royal family has decided to keep an eye on them, for now. Most Saints come from difficult backgrounds, have suffered through tragedies and received a second chance by being blessed with their powers. Since there’s no clear purpose, there’s also no real goal for them to achieve except self-expression, possible vengeance or starting fresh. They are, to put it simply, humans with superpowers, who have no idea why they were chosen and who gave them their powers.

Poisoned Blood – Aesthetic

The holy Delacroix family had been reigning over Athos for more than five-hundred years. Blessed by God after saving their land from heathens, they’ve used their new power as a way to gain money, glory, and power. Those who bowed to them were granted immunity, those defiant and brave enough to revolt against them were publicly shamed and trialed as enemies of the crown and god.

500 years after Bellamy Delacroix’ heroic act by saving the oldest known church on earth, his descendants have turned into vile, two-faced monarchs, praying for no one else but themselves. Fed up with what they have created, God grants those fortunate enough a gift, which reflects their character. Superpowers, able to bring chaos, destruction or salvation.Saints are the feared few who’ve been blessed by God and granted a new life. Their hidden purpose? To overthrow the monarchy and instill fear into all Sinners – but beware: Saints are also just Sinners who sin differently.

Athos has been the center of faith and purity for over five-hundred years. Everything started with Bellamy Delacroix’s humble sacrifice after saving the former democratic country Athos from its pending doom after a long and devastating war against their atheistic enemies – the Omerta’s. Due to his brave engagement in a war against heathens, God has canonized Bellamy Delacroix and has given him the reign over Athos as a whole, making him king of a now sacred kingdom. Time has passed and Athos’ former glory has been tainted by corruption, lust, greed, and pride. The Delacroix family has expanded their territory over time, creating an even larger playground. With money and lust on their mind, no one and nothing seems to be off-limits for the sacred and royal family. After seeing how his creations have turned out, God has taken matters into their own hands by creating Saints, supernatural beings, who were blessed with abilities, unknown to them with a special task: to defeat the Delacroix’s and to regain Athos’ former glory. They have POISONED BLOOD in their veins – it’s just a matter of time until the Saints play as Sinners.
