Bloom Into You Final Volume Released in Japan; Total Print Copies Exceed 1 Million
On November 27, the final volume of Nio Nakatani’s celebrated Yuri manga series, Bloom Into You, was released in Japan by Kadokawa. The series ran in Dengeki Daioh front April 2015 to September 2019. The eighth and final volume concludes the romance of Yuu Koito and Touko Nanami.
Bloom Into You is hugely successful and has been adapted in multiple mediums. A television anime series based on the manga was produced at Studio Troyca and aired in late 2018. The anime is licensed for English release by Sentai Filmwork and is available to stream on HIDIVE. Additionally, a stage play adaptation ran in May 2019.
A spin-off light novel series, Regarding Saeki Sayaka, written by Hitoma Iruma (Adachi to Shimamaru), has published two volumes in Japan, and a third is currently in the works. The light novel series is licensed for release in English by Seven Seas Entertainment.
The official Bloom Into You Twitter account announced yesterday that the manga had sold over one million print copies across all eight volumes.
