testing out the method again 😋😋 and a stupid little doodle on the side because Amias actually does have the ability to harness the benefits of Patior's influence and still being in control but uhrrr 😱 I'll say more in a ramble
Ramble:
Basically how it works is that Amias gains a blessing from his goddess mother which seems to block out the impulses while giving him the benefits of the influence. But what he doesn't know is that Patior is ALLOWING him to do this, the blessing is a sham and Patior is purposefully allowing him to use the influence without the violent impulse. Although there are drawbacks to this, the longer he uses it, the riskier it gets.
I wrote this a while ago so that's why Patior is still named Zofagos but this is what it is in game terms.
But for lore, this method is actually a way that Patior gets Amias to turn impulsive. Usually without this, the amount of episodes he has is very little because it takes a long time for the influence to seep in and take over. When an episode is over, all the influence is immediately discharged and it'll be long before it happens again. (There is a reason behind why all the influence is lost but I'll write that next time)
This ability allows Patior to quickly gain influence cus Amias readily accepts it, thinking that he's still in control.
