{Text from Lily}: I really wouldn’t know if it is too soon or not, but either way, I take the distraction. I’ll see you in a few.

She wasn’t lying when she said she needed a distraction from her own pity party. She spent everyday since Alfie left thinking about him and overthinking every part of the relationship, she needed a change of scenery and Wat was always someone she could be around when she was feeling down.

Showering and dressing quickly she grabbed a bottle of the first liquor she saw and them she made her way to his home.

Even while being mentally prepared, Finn still recoiled, body tensing up at the searing sensation spreading from the strike on his stomach—the only response he got. He was clenching his teeth so hard that the pain from the sides of his cheeks was traveling all the way up to his head, causing a humming headache was slowly forming. 

Letting out a shaky breath that he didn’t even know he was holding, he turned his head aimlessly while being restricted by the darkness and the silence. It was hard. The feeling of uncertainty was doing nothing to help his anxiety and he knew that there was nothing that he could do to make it better for himself… but maybe he could try for the other person.

“… I’m sorry that you have to do this,” he began softly, flinching once again at another hit that left a loud echo in his ears. Regulating his unsettled breath, he smiled lightly and continued, “If… if it makes you feel any better, I have this ability,” he cleared his throat, “-I tend to forget about unpleasant things, so, um, pain never last for me.”

Lily flinched as if she was the one hit when she brought down the whip. She stared from her hand to Finn a few times as her cheeks grew wetter the harder she cried. She hated this, she hated herself, and she hated the island. She’s met Finn a few times and he was a nice person. He didn’t deserve this.

Lily wanted to stop, she wanted to toss the whip down and get them both out, but it seemed the harder she struggled the stronger the hold the magic had over her. She silently scream and begged to be let go as she hit him repeatedly.

He words were heaven sent and she felt undeserving of them. He way he could just be so strong and to comfort her in a horrible time like this only made her sob more. She repeated how sorry she was over and over wishing he could hear, wishing he knew that she hated doing this to him.

“I’m sorry,” they gasped. Their heart was racing in their chest, and they craved more of her. They were doing their best to hold back, but their hands trembled, because the fact of the matter was, they wanted her.

“I just…I like you, you know that,” they murmured. “I just…I couldn’t help myself…I didn’t mean to..” They broke off, rubbing the back of their neck.

Lily was a bit dazed by their kiss but she felt their hands trembled and quickly grasped them between her own. “You don’t have to be sorry, really. I didn’t mind it,” she said feeling herself blush at her words.

Chuckling softly, she leaned closer and kissed them softly. “It’s really okay. I like you as well. We’ve known each other for years, I would be lying if I said I didn’t have the urge to kiss you.”

Alex laughed a little. “I mean you say that but pretty small all the same.” he laughed and still was pretty sure she could ride on Franklin’s back if she wanted. hell the big pup would probably like the extra attention. “Yeah he probably won’t let you leave if he hears that. Anyways Teddy here belonged to my ex. Had him the longest about six years and then Winston about four years got him for myself to ride. I have not seen any problems with them they eat and drink well but like them to have a looking after once a year.” He smirked a little then ran his hand over Teddy’s nose. He really loved his animals.

“Maybe I am not small, but you are just pretty tall,” she laughed.  Lily had no problem with the pup not leaving her alone, she loved animals and would never turn down a cuddle session. “They are just darling and I can tell that you have taken good care of them,” she said, as she patted Teddy’s back as she examined him before moving towards Winston. “It is good that you care and have then looked after yearly. Have you always been a lover of animals?” She asked curiously.

{Text from Lily} I should have mentioned him, but I guess not mentioning him to my friends were a problem I didn’t even notice until now.

{Text from Lily}: I can meet you at a bar in about 10 minutes? 

{Text from Lily}: So you were right about rushing into getting married. Instead of saying I told you so could you buy me a drink instead?

[text] I can do that. And I'm sorry I was unkind to you then.

[text] I was jealous. And I think I was upset you never really mentioned him.

[text] Anyway, enough about him. Let's get you drunk.

It would have been naive to think Gina was the only one who wanted to escape from their home, to find somewhere else in hopes it would change their train of thought but she was still surprised by another face appearing in the aisle. “Erm…y-yeah…” The blonde lowers her head, rubbing her face and avoiding the other woman’s gaze by turning her body away. “D-Do you w-want me to leave?” She asks in a small voice, daring a glance at her. 

Lily should have realized that the girl was probably trying to get away for everything. “No no, you don’t have to leave, honestly. And I just realize I am probably wanted to be alone. I’m sorry,” She said. “This is just you know, far enough away from everyone and I don’t know secluded,” she explained, taking a seat on the floor.

[text] I know but..it’s better than living in constant fear and dread, isn’t it?

[text] Okay! Just come on in, I’ll be in the kitchen.

Dakota’s house was a flurry of excitement and activity. Even though she didn’t plan on moving out right away, she had already started to slowly pack as she and Dakota had been house hunting. And wow..she sure had managed to accumulate a lot of stuff during her two claims on the island! Her thoughts of a cute tiny house was quickly starting to look like not such a great idea after all. But none of that was important right now. Today was going to be all about Lily, and Daisy easily put aside her own manic excitement to focus on her little sister.

Seeing Lily come up the path from her vantage point in the kitchen, she hurried to meet the blonde at the door. Wrapping her in a warm and secure embrace as Lily seemed to fall apart right then and there. “Oh Lil..” She whispered soothingly, stroking her sister’s hair as she nudged the door closed with her foot. “We’re gonna fix this okay? We’ll figure something out together. C’mon, sit down. I was just making us some tea” In big sister mode now, Daisy led Lily into the living room, settling her on a couch before rushing to finish the tea.

Lily felt like a child again, when she fall down or messed up a spell and she would ran to Daisy for help.  She held on tightly to her sister for a moment, just breathing in her scent and trying to calm down. She nodded at Daisy’s words, even if she was unsure if she could fix whatever was wrong with her and her relationship.

Sniffing slightly she pulled away and followed Daisy into the living room. She felt like she did when she first arrived back on the island, confused and out of sorts.  Lily wrapped her arms around herself as she waited for Daisy to return.

A continuation from HERE.

{Text from Lily}: You are sweet, but I just feel bad dumping my issues onto you. I know I need to get out of my head sometimes.

{Text from Lily}: You shouldn’t have to get used to it. I’ll be over in a few.

Lily put her phone away and ran her fingers though her hair a few times. Lily always loved her house, but now that Alfie was gone she felt like she was drowning in it. She was slightly happy she didn’t have her magic because she was sure she would have burned the house down by now.

So she had to get out of the house. She had to stop thinking of all the things Alfie left at the house. She needed to see Daisy, she was her best friend, her older sister, if anyone could make the pain go away, it would be her.

She walked quickly to Dakota’s house and the moment Daisy opened the door, the tears she’s been trying to hold back overflowed and she wrapped her arms around her sister. “I’ve made a mess of things, Daisy.”

Alex smiled at Lily as Franklin was trying to monopolize all the attention he could from the stranger. “Speaking of horses you are small enough you could probably ride around on Franklin’s back” he smirked and started walking across from the main entrance of his home to the stables and opened the door. “This  handsome black stallion is Teddy. On the other side over here is Winston who is very sweet,” he said and noticed Franklin getting in the way. “Go chew on your bone lily needs to look at the horses.” He said as he pointed out of the stable and he started to whimper befor he left. “So manipulative.”

Lily laughed at his comment flushing at his comment. “I am not that small,” she said, fully aware that she small at her 5′4 on a good day stance. She followed after him, lighting up the moment she saw the horses. “He is just darling, I promise I’ll play with you later,” She said to the dog. giving him one last pat. “They are both beautiful, how you had them for long?” She asked as she moved closer starting to exam them.

“Well, that’s just disgustingly adorable,” she teased, giggling and grinning at the other woman. Normally, she may not have thought something like that was cute, but the truth was that she and Bella were already there, and she hoped to stay there. “Well, let’s start with lemonade, then,” she laughed. “Then, we’ll go from there.”

“I said the same thing when she told me, but I’ve never seen a happier couple. Tell you that you say things like that about Bella?” She teased. Lily knew she said things like that about Alfie to her sisters. “Lemonade it is,” she smiled pouring them both a glass.

Lily eyes widened as she looked at Raven. “Do you truly mean that? Because if so I think you are my new favorite person on the island. I have at least 10 different chocolates at home.” She said. “ I’m pretty sure I am more chocolate these days than water.” She laughed.

He sighed and rested his chin against the top of her head as he rubbed her back. “No one is to blame but the administration,” he explained as he gave her a small squeeze. “Is there anything I can do?” 

“It wasn’t your fault. I wasn’t thinking and I was more than happy to give up my magic for you to be safe. I don’t blame you.” She didn’t. Not really she couldn’t blame him when she got to keep him safe. She leaned into him slightly. “I should have still asked you. I haven’t even spoken to Daisy or Violet, Dhani, no one.” She said. “No no there is nothing, I just I don’t know.” Her hands shook slightly and she quickly put down the tea cup. “Goodness I am such a mess.”

“Kittens, blankets, and a bottle of Vodka,” she said, titling the basket a bit so they could see inside. “I’m plan on having a nice day by the beach. Are you planning to do the same?” She asked. “I’m Lily by the way, it’s nice to meet you.”
