My second-favorite coworker is leaving education to go do data management and learning management systems for a company in annapolis. I'm the first one he's told.

This dude has had my back for 3 years now. we've had so many good talks about burning the educational system to the ground, feminism, and life. Besides teacher bestie, he's the closest to me in subject matter (comp sci/PLTW engineering) and physically- he's across the hall and dude has always been in my corner. We've shared hallway duty together, printed sub plans for each other, covered for each other....fucking fuck.

FUCK. I'm happy for him (and he mentioned about seeing work I could do, part time...) but FUCK. A huge fucking loss for our school.

Fuck. how do I keep doing this another 20 years? How many more excellent teachers are gonna leave for greener pastures?
