Vogue May 2017 : Jenner and Rajput
The temperature this year is breaking records. The heat is roasting us everyday. The reason - Kendall Jenner was here recently! The supermodel was in India for a photoshoot - Vogue India's cover for the May Edition. The backdrop for the shoot was Samode Palace, Rajasthan, titled 'The Indian Affair'.
Actor Sushant Singh Rajput was also a part of the shoot with Kendall! We can't deny the fact the two make one of the hottest couple ever.
It's the tenth anniversary of the magazine and to celebrate it, they brought Jenner and the famous Peruvian photographer Mario Testino to collaborate for the special issue.
In a press release held for the magazine, Testino said, "It’s the people, the art, the colours, the elephants, and everything in between. I wanted to bring my world truly to this amazing nation, by shooting the issue in India. I wanted it to stay true to the Indian spirit.”
Katrina Kaif was also shot by the photographer for the Vogue Issue, and even for his towel series. The shoot was of 100 pages. Hopper Penn and Kelly Gale were also a part of it!

Butt Glitter is a Major Thing now
There is never a "why" when it comes to fashion. Or so we have learnt during all these years. Now there is a new trend in town which will probably make you feel like a mermaid, or even better, a unicorn!
Instagram has been full with photos of people with glittery bottoms. U.K.-based artist and photographer Mia Kennington, and her squad, known as the Gypsy Shrine is the mastermind behind this trend. She pulled all strings out on her creative side after being inspired by a recent trip to the Morocco-based Beyond Sahara festival.
"We were in bikinis and were getting sand all over our butts anyway, so we were like, 'Well, what if we enhance this?' So we just did loads and loads of glitter"
It might not make any sense at all to most of us. After all, you have to almost bare your bikini clad or hot panted bottoms for the world to see. But as we said before, we won't ask why. Moreover, we have been sparkling up our makeup and even our hair for a while now. So, why not our butts?

But for Helstrup, it was more than a mere complication. A meteorite hurtled down after him as he descended! This wasn’t just a story to tell, Helstrup captured the event in his camera to show the world. The video taken was the first ever video of a meteorite traveling the air after its flame has gone out!
6. Frane Selak
Well, cheating death once or twice is exceptional. But escaping death seven times has to be a unique phenomenon. Frane Selar is the only person who has escaped death seven times. He first brushed death in 1962 while traveling in a train. The train flipped off the tracks and fell into a freezing river. Bystanders pulled him to shore and safety, with only broken arm hypothermia. While 17 other passengers drowned! A year later in 1963, during his first plane ride, the plane lost altitude and plummeted to the ground. And Frane was blown out of a malfunctioning plane door! He somehow managed to land on a haystack unharmed while 19 other passengers died in the crash. In the year 1966, he was riding a bus, that skid off the road and landed in the river. Four people drowned, but not Selak. He swam across to the bank with few light injuries. Two years later, in what was arguably the weirdest reasons for almost dying. While teaching his son how to hold a gun, he hadn’t realized that the safety was off. He ended up shooting himself in the testicles. Well he survived, the testicles did not. In 1970 and 1973 he got into accidents where the car ended up catching fire. He managed to get out of both predicaments unharmed. In 1995 he was hit by a bus but only suffered minor injuries. A year later he managed to avoid a head-on collision with United Nations truck on a mountain road. He swerved into a guardrail, smashing through it and Frane was thrown out of the car. He watched the car fall 300 feet deep ravine below. And to top his luck off in 2003, two days after his 73 rd birthday, Frane Selak won $ 1.1million from the Croatian National Lottery!

These stories inspire us and mold us. But if there ever has been a story sad story of a fall-from-grace in sports, it has to be that of Tiger Woods.
At one time, Tiger Woods was a name that broke boundaries—cutting across race and stigmas with his unnatural skills. For two decades Tiger Woods reigned over the golf world—undisputed for his titles. At the peak of his career, he had won 14 pro-major golf championships!
All the glory achieved, was floundered away. After the rumors of his extramarital affair in 2009, every thing went downhill! From denying the affairs to publically accepting his infidelity, Tiger Woods was also involved in an accident as well. In the months following these events, Tiger Woods’ career suffered a major downfall. His wife left him, he lost major sponsor deals including—General Motors, AT&T and Gatorade.
And when he returned to pro golf, the world wasn’t the same. He wasn’t able to make any mark on any of the big series. His poor performance meant he lost his ranking which has been on a downtrend ever since! This year has been no different. He will not be able to play for most of the year because of a back injury.
This year has been no different for the golf legend whose comeback lasted just two events before he pulled out citing back problems. On 20th April, the 41-year-old announced that he had undergone his fourth back surgery since 2014 to alleviate back and leg pain. With six months needed to recover, Woods’ surgery meant that he would spend the rest of the year without playing any professional golf.
