when i put forth a transgender read of a character, i am not asking to "coexist" with your or anyone else's headcanons, i am putting forth a reading of the text based on key details, thematic beats, the structure of the arc and how it relates to real-world struggles/my own experiences, and every bit of allegory i can get away with. please respect that readings of the text will always hold more water than something you made up which, more than likely, is based on surface-level projection and whittles down much of the dimensionality and intrigue of the character in question. for the love of god
