Kodiak: it's alright, Cinna...He's also with me. I'm watching over him while your father is awaiting trial, so that Sagi can't be tempted to mess with him more than he already has.

And, as it turns out, he's family - And he's trying to learn how to do better. Isn't that right? *He looks at Sagi* You're trying to redeem yourself?🐺

Kodiak makes it just barely inside the castle right as Cinna runs out in front of him, being followed by a few exasperated guards. Kodiak startles for a moment and then firmly calls out to Cinna

"Woah, kiddo! What's going on here??" He uses his magic to stop Cinna in her tracks, but only holds onto her for a second so as to only slow her down - not startle her.

Cinna, flushed with relief at seeing Kodiak but still in fear for the Guards chasing her "I-I was looking for you and these guards started chasing me-! I got scared-" 🧋

Guard: "We have reason to believe she snuck into the castle! We don't know why but she ran as if she had something to hide! You need to overturn her to us immediately for questioning."

Kodiak: *pets cinna's head * Slow down there, sir. She's with me. I told her to meet me here, and this place is still new to her - She probably got lost, and got scared she was going to get in trouble if any of you found her before I did. I'm sure you understand. My kiddo's the anxious type, most of them are anyways.

I...also recall Cinna telling me she's close penpals with the President..? Had tea with her here just a few months ago?

Lemon, Cinna heard that Sanori gave himself up and will be facing a trial soon. So, she headed for Canterlot to go and free him. She's almost about to arrive at his cell.

Alistor: *Holding Nexa close* You're such a goofball~

Alistor thinks to himself "She's so sweet and loving, must protect and keep her safe. World is dark and dangerous place, must protect her light."

Nexa creeps up to Alistor quietly, then surprise tackle hugs him!

"Surprise! It's break time love! You didn't eat breakfast, so I made you some brunch! it's an egg, cheese, and spinach sandwich, with some strawberry cream crepes! And I totally didn't take a bite before I came to get you- *cuddle* But anyways come eat!" 💕

Alistor startles and whips around to look at Nexa,"-! DONT-*He cuts himself off to pause, take a breath, and calm himself before continuing*... please- don't sneak up on me like that, Nexa-

. . .

Thank you- for making me brunch...I will be over to eat in a minute.."

He picks himself up and returns to his desk on the floor to continue reading, feeling awful for snipping at Nexa.

Alistor: Thank you for always believing in me Nexa...What would I ever do without your light, mi amor..?

*he chuckles to himself softly, still shaking the uneasiness that comes with minor triggers*

Alistor: I love you so much.. 📕

Nexa creeps up to Alistor quietly, then surprise tackle hugs him!

*As Cinna sneaks through the underground and into the dungeons, she narrowly avoids guards and sneaks up to the one Sanori's being held in, due to his Boredom, Gad inevitably fell asleep. Sanori spots Cinna as she approaches and brightens for a moment*

"Cinna-! My baby girl! Look at you, sneaking around like a pro! Wait- That's- That's probably not a good thing to praise you for, But I'm proud nonetheless." 🏵️

*Cinna tears up as she sees the collar device around his neck*

"What have they done to you Dad!? They put that awful thing on you!? Oh, it looks dreadful!" 🧋

"Eh, it's not that bad when I get used to it... I still want it off. But wait- You gotta get out of here sweetheart! You can't be here! It's dangerous"🏵️

"But I can't leave you in this cell! What if your Trial goes bad again!? What if they-!?" 🧋

*he places a clawed hand on her cheek and rubs it softly*

"Shhh, I'll be okay sweetheart, You don't have to worry about that...Look, your wider family is in the city, I think you should go spend time with them...Before my trial, I want you to get to know the family you have outside of me, your mother, and your big brother and little sister" 🏵️

"But-!" 🧋

"No buts. Do it for me. ....Please? If this trial goes bad...I don't want you to be alone..." 🏵️

*Cinna sniffles and takes a breath*

"O-Okay, i'll go- i'll go find Mr.Kodiak-" 🧋

"Call him Dad when you see him, I have a hunch it'll make him real happy." 🏵️

"But you're dad-!" 🧋

"He's just your other Dad, now you have two sweetheart" 🏵️

*sniff* "O-Okay, im gonna go now before I change my mind-!" 🧋

*Sanori kisses her forehead between the bars*

"Be safe, and be careful babygirl. I love you so much, tell your mother, brother, and sister that too for me when you see them." 🏵️

Sanori Smiles sadly as Cinna nods and hurries out of the Dungeons before the guards come back.

Hi! good time to mention that any and all responses on my part to Mocha's posts featuring Sanori, Sagi, Cinna, Jaysir, or Nexa - or featuring my characters Lemon, Alistor, or Kodiak - Are on hold until I get more art done for these scenes!

Reminder that ongoing story points between our two blogs still going on right now are:

-Sagi and Kodiak + Jaysir and Lemon family dinner. They are technically not at the dinner yet, but will be soon

-Cinna has successfully broken into the castle and made it to Sanori's jail cell while Gadzook(?) is being lazy guard. Sagi has suggested Kodiak go find her before the actual guards do - i assume so she can be protected somewhat from harsh consequences by association with Kodiak.

-Alistor snipped at Nexa after being startled - Nexa had been calling him to lunch break. Alistor apologized, awaiting continuation.

It's a good thing Lemon doesnt have traditional unicorn/alicorn magic, because it would take a while for them to learn to control it in conjunction with their Phoenix magic. Much accidental arson.

*Sagi's overseeing Kodiak fill out paperwork for Xanaria, Sadie, and Beth to get registered at the Equestrian Citizen Office. But he's also staring intently at Kodiak every now and then like he's trying to discern something.*

Kodiak: *major rbf as he's very focused on making sure everything is as accurrate as he can make it without getting xanaria and beth exiled out of equestria for being yk...changeling/changeling hybrids. He notices Sagi's staring, but waits for Sagi to actually communicate anything.*
