I forgot to add about the fighting scenes in the Queen of Tears review. Were they so bad they had to add extra editing touch to it or they made it look bad just because? My biggest question. Good that there weren't a lot of them.

Queen of Tears Review

The drama made more sense when I found out that the script was written in 2010.

Baek Hyun Woo and Hong Hae In have been married for a couple of years now, but it did not go as they planned.

Living in different rooms, no affection and resenting one another. What will happen to them when Hyun Woo comes with divorce papers and Hae In tells him that she has cancer?

This is one of the dramas where the start is strong. The story of it feels fresh and funny.

One of the things that was so good in the drama was the balance between sad/happy moments.

It is still the moment where we're getting to know the characters and choose to hate them or love them.

Everything just feels fresh and new and exciting.

But it falls down around the 10th episode. The balance is gone and every episode becomes a misery where you cry your eyes out.

With that misery, there are crumps of happiness but that is mostly made from the side characters, the family of the main leads.

Most of the characters are now loveable but the plot becomes so out of touch with many plot holes. The question still lingers: How many times can a person almost die before he really dies?

The actors did an amazing job portraying their characters and the reason why the drama got so many views is definitely the cast.

The writer, however... It felt like she was writing Crash Landing On You 2.0 with more plot twists and makjang feel to it.

Overall, this drama had the potential to be the greatest but it messed up too many times. In the last two episodes, I did not even shed a tear.

But even in those moments, where everything seemed to be falling apart, I loved seeing the families together.

We can sometimes stop and appreciate the scenery. Then time will gradually begin to flow more quickly. Time will slip away and we won't be able to do anything about it. That's how we'll spend every day of our lives. We'll enjoy all the happiness that life grants us.
