BREAKING: John McCain Reveals Bombshell Trump Scandal
Senator John McCain (R-AZ) just released another bombshell about President Trump. McCain says the Trump administration hasn’t been honest about the Niger attack.
A group of Army Green Berets was on patrol with the Nigerian Army on October 5. Several heavily armed insurgents, however, ambushed the group.
The attackers killed four U.S. soldiers, along with five Nigerians. And we still don’t know who the attackers were affiliated with.
McCain’s not satisfied with the administration’s account of the attack, though. He thinks Trump and his team haven’t been upfront about the incident.
So he wants a Senate investigation into the attack. McCain’s determined to get to the bottom of this.
Reporters asked McCain if an investigation was really necessary. But McCain insisted we need an investigation to find all the facts.
The senator said he wanted to have “all the information that he deserves and needs. Then you decide whether an investigation is needed or not.”
He continued, “That’s why we’re called the Senate armed services committee. It’s because we have oversight of our military. So we deserve to have all the information.”
This sounds like bad news for Trump. His team is already under investigation for possibly colluding with the Russians during the last election.
Now the Senate could open another investigation into the administration. And it doesn’t sound like McCain’s about to pull any punches.
He won’t even wait until the Justice Department completes its investigation. “It may require a subpoena,” said McCain.
McCain’s been a thorn in Trump’s side since the start. He defied Trump on health care, and he’s prepared to take on Trump over his mishandling of the military.
McCain probably has bad memories about Trump’s first military raid. U.S. forces attacked a Yemeni village without proper precautions or intelligence.
As a result, 30 innocent Yemeni citizens died. And the Trump administration did its best to cover up the facts.

Maybe Trump’s trying to hide the facts again. After all, he wouldn’t even acknowledge the ambush or its victims for almost two weeks.
Then Trump tried to distract us by claiming Obama never called the families of fallen soldiers. And he completely blew his call to the widow of one of the soldiers.
A report from Reuters confirms that there’s more to this case than meets the eye. They reported that “a diplomat with knowledge of the incident said French officials were frustrated by the U.S. troops’ actions, saying they had acted on only limited intelligence and without contingency plans in place.”
Trump’s up to his old tricks again. He’s using the military as his personal toy and won’t give our troops the support they need to do their jobs.

BREAKING: Trump Just Accused the FBI of a Horrifying Crime
Though people in Puerto Rico still don’t have electricity and the NFL is now debating what to do during the national anthem, Donald Trump has plenty of free time to sit around watching Fox News. In fact, the president live-tweeted “Fox and Friends” today.
In response to one story, Trump tweeted, “Workers of firm involved with the discredited and Fake Dossier take the 5th. Who paid for it, Russia, the FBI or the Dems (or all)?”
Okay, so here’s what he’s talking about. Two members of Fusion GPS, a research firm, recently invoked the Fifth Amendment. This right allows you, or anyone, to refuse to answer legal questions which may incriminate you.
The two Fusion GPS employees invoked the Fifth Amendment in response to a subpoena issued by the House Intelligence Committee. This committee is currently is investigating links between Russia and the Trump administration and campaign.
Former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele created a dossier detailing several pieces of potential blackmail-worthy information regarding Donald Trump.
The dossier has repeatedly come up during the ongoing Russian investigation. Many believe it shows, among other things, strong ties between Trump and Russia.
Many now believe that a quid pro quo agreement was in place, in which Russia promised to help Trump win the election in exchange for Trump dropping the 2012 Magnitsky Act sanctions against Russia.
Now, Trump is tweeting out a conspiracy theory that the Democrats are working with the FBI against him. Throwing Russia into the mix is a bit of evil genius, because he’s still trying to distance himself from Russia in every way possible as the investigation rages on all around him.
Clearly, Trump is still worried about that ongoing investigation and what it may eventually unearth. Now, he’s taken to pointing fingers and tweeting conspiracy theories as part of his continuous attempt to distract the American people.
As long as they’re talking about anything else other than the various links between Russia and the Trump administration that have already been uncovered, Trump doesn’t care. He will threaten North Korea, trash-talk the entire NFL and lie repeatedly about what’s happening in the world.
Because all of that is better than talking about Russia, and how they helped him win the election.

Fox News, and “Fox and Friends” in particular, has been highly supportive of Trump’s presidency and very quickly dismissive of anything that casts a negative light on that presidency.
Trump often responds to stories covered by Fox News and “Fox and Friends” on his Twitter feed.
He also has personal relationships with personalities who work at Fox. This includes host Sean Hannity, who often brags on his show that he advises Trump on policy issues and national matters.

BREAKING: Former CIA Chief Drops Truth Bomb About Trump, This Is Terrifying
One former CIA director, who arguably understands foreign policy better than most people, thinks there’s about a 25 percent chance that Trump could create a devastating conflict involving North Korea. Just to put that into perspective, that is a one in four chance of war.
Gulp.
John Brennan was speaking to the “Today Show” when he laid out what he sees in the Trump presidency. And he offered a grim prognosis for the future.
He says that Trump is merely “trying to demonstrate he’s tough” when he threatens and insults nations like North Korea. Brennan also pointed out that, as Commander-in-Chief, Trump has the authority to greenlight any military action.
Defense Secretary Mattis has the option to refuse Trump’s request, and Brennan believes this may be what saves us from all-out World War III. According to Brennan, Mattis is a “patriot” who can “understand the gravity of the situation” even when the president does not.
Through his remarks on Twitter and during speaking engagements Trump has “escalated tensions” around the world, particularly between the U.S. and North Korea. Brennan believes that Trump has about a 25 percent chance of making something terrible happen.
“I’m concerned there could be some kind of clash between North Korean and South Korean forces,” Brennan said.
And he’s probably not the only one who is frightened by this very real possibility. Tensions between North and South Korea have existed since the 1950s, a time which found the U.S. embroiled in the Korean War.
In many ways, that war is still not over for North Korea.
“We are a country of laws,” Brennan said. “And sometimes, I feel that Mr. Trump feels that it is Trump’s laws that trumps others.”
Trump’s rhetoric has grown more colorful and more extreme as tensions between the U.S. and North Korea escalate. He recently referred to Kim Jung-un, the self-styled Supreme Leader of North Korea, as “Little Rocket Man.”
Trump also threatened, while speaking to the U.N. General Assembly, to “rain down fire and fury the likes of which the world has never seen” on North Korea.
Kim Jung-un is known worldwide to be an egomaniac who constantly and unabashedly lies to his own people, and to the rest of the world, in order to maintain a rather godlike image.
And North Koreans do indeed treat him as though he is a god—and not at all a mortal man with the same functions as the rest of us. This is not the type of person that one wants to provoke while standing upon the world stage.
But no matter how many people seem to try to explain that to Donald Trump, from his current staff to former high-ranking officials, the president just cannot seem to grasp that diplomacy is sometimes the much wiser course of action. He’d rather just issue insane threats on Twitter.

ALERT: Top Trump Ally Gets Bad News From Judge
Former Sheriff Joe Arpaio just got some bad news from federal court. A federal judged denied Arpaio’s request to overturn his contempt of court conviction.
You may remember Arpaio, the man who liked to call himself “America’s toughest sheriff.” But the title “America’s most racist sheriff” would be more accurate.
Arpaio liked to stop minorities and investigate them as undocumented immigrants, without just cause of course. He also liked to round up suspected undocumented immigrants en masse.
Arpaio also liked to put prisoners in prison camps in the middle of the desert. The conditions at these camps were horrifying, though.
Arpaio’s actions were clearly unconstitutional. So federal courts ordered him to stop in 2011.
Arpaio refused to stop, though. So a federal court found him guilty of contempt of court.
That’s when Trump stepped in. Trump couldn’t allow his buddy Arpaio to go to jail.
After all, Arpaio supported Trump from the very start. He was the most vocal supporter of Trump’s racist and xenophobic agenda.
So Trump pardoned Arpaio. Trump didn’t even wait for the courts to sentence Arpaio, and even went against the counsel of his own advisors.
Arpaio probably thought he would walk away free with a clean record. So he issued a motion to have the federal court to overturn his criminal conviction.
U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton had other plans, though. She refused to erase his criminal contempt conviction.
Judge Bolton ruled that Trump’s pardon “undoubtedly spared the Defendant from any punishment that might otherwise have been imposed. It did not, however, ‘revise the historical facts’ of this case.”
There you go, folks. At least some justice has come out of this case. Arpaio may have escaped punishment, but that conviction will follow him around for the rest of his life.
Arpaio’s lawyer says he plans to appeal the judge’s ruling to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, though. He thinks it’s unfair that the conviction stands after Trump’s pardon.
He compared this case to former President Bill Clinton’s pardon of Archie Schaffer. Clinton pardoned Schaffer during the appeal of his conviction, so the court vacated the verdict.
The difference here, though, was that Arpaio’s guilt was fully established. That wasn’t the case for Schaffer.
According to Bolton, “The legal question of Schaffer’s guilt was never reached. This was due not only to the pendency of an appeal when the pardon was issued, but also to the unique procedural posture of the case at that time.”

President Trump pardoned former Sheriff Joe Arpaio for his crimes.
But a federal judge refused to invalidate Arpaio’s guilty verdict.

Hopefully, the appeals court will agree with Judge Bolton. They shouldn’t allow Arpaio to get away scot-free.
After all, Trump’s pardon was a complete overreach of executive power. Trump had no business pardoning the man before sentencing even occurred.
Arpaio belongs in jail for his abuses. And he certainly doesn’t deserve to have his criminal record expunged.

BREAKING: Putin Issues Shocking Trump Message
Can you BELIEVE this? Now, Vladimir Putin is lecturing the American people, issuing a statement that declared us Yankees ought to show Donald Trump a little more respect. Well, Putin may not be able to wrap his head around how a democracy works, but the American people ARE the sovereign here. Trump works for us, and we’ll boot him shortly for doing an abominable job.
Speaking at an international policy consortium in Sochi, Putin took a moment to muster a pretty outrageous, and very public, defense of Donald Trump. As if that wasn’t strange enough, just wait till you hear what Putin had to say. He’s mad at us for not respecting Trump.
“Mr. Trump was elected by the American people,” Putin began. “And at least, for this reason, it is necessary to show respect for him.”
No, Trump was elected by Russia’s Secret Service, at PUTIN’S request. Americans aren’t obligated to respect a tyrant president, and we sure as hell aren’t obligated to respect a treasonous tyrant president. Yet Putin continued on, defending Don John as if he were, well, his puppet.
“Inside the country disrespect is shown for him,” Putin said, so ridiculous that it’s almost humorous. “This is a regrettable negative component of the U.S. political system.”
“I believe that the president of the United States does not need any advice because one has to possess a certain talent and go through this trial to be elected,” Putin said. “Even without having the experience of such big administrative work, [Trump] has done this.”
Well, don’t ya’ll just sound like besties? Vlad and Trump, sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g. Get Real. Putin’s Russia is the enemy of America, and the United States needs to start acting like it. It should set off alarm bells in everyone’s heads that our main foreign adversary is defending Trump so glowingly right now.
The worst part of all though? Putin literally blamed the Resistance for Trump’s unhinged antics, claiming that our rebellious protests have caused Trump to behave so emotionally.
“[He’s facing] great domestic resistance, which is the reason for his unpredictability,” Putin said. “Moscow will work with him despite all the difficulties.”
What an outrage. For Putin to come up to the podium and lecture the American people about it being OUR fault that Trump is so belligerent is ABSURD. We can see and speak for ourselves. Trump’s insanity is his own. And we didn’t pour millions of dollars into a covert campaign to elect Trump. Putin did. This is his fault.

BREAKING: New Trump Corruption Scandal Just Exposed, He Wanted This Hidden
Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) recently blasted Donald Trump after CNN broke a story about him personally interviewing U.S. attorney candidates. Feinstein tweeted out her criticism of Trump, because that’s the only way to be sure he’s going to notice.
“President Trump should NOT be interviewing US attorney candidates, especially those from NY—where he has personal & business interests,” Feinstein wrote on her Twitter feed.
The U.S. attorney’s office is likely to be involved in the ongoing Russia investigation, which now encompasses several different government departments and potentially dozens of of witnesses and suspects.
We now know that Russian hackers systematically targeted the United States during the 2016 election. They used hacking, propaganda and fake media reports in order to influence that election in support of Donald Trump.
The question is, did Trump’s campaign work with Russia to help sway the outcome of the election? The government has already committed significant resources to answering this question. The ongoing investigation is still taking place in the background of the daily Donald Trump sideshow.
There’s a good reason that the U.S. needs a new attorney in New York: Trump fired the old one. Preet Bharara was let go from the job after being reassured that he would keep his position once the administration changed hands from Obama to Trump.
However, Preet Bharara worked for the U.S. attorney’s office that was and is investigating some aspects of the Russian scandal, including Tom Price.
Bharara’s office was investigating Price, who Trump appointed to a Cabinet position earlier this year, when U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions suddenly fired him.
Now, the president of the United States is personally interviewing potential candidates to take over the job. The corruption and conflict of interest implied by these actions is painfully clear, and yet Trump is still doing it.
Sen. Feinstein is now speaking out against Trump and pointing to his corrupt actions, which means she will no doubt be next on Trump’s list of Twitter attacks.
Because that’s what it’s like to live in America, land of the free and home of the brave, these days. We know our president will lash out on social media like a child. It’s always just a question of when, and how long, his latest little rant will last.
Millions of people believed this man should be the president of the United States. Because at least he still isn’t a woman, right?

JUST IN: Puerto Rico Issues Shock Warning, Trump Humiliated
Relief workers in Puerto Rico say the situation is dire. But President Trump says he’s done a great job and rated himself a 10 out of 10.
Trump spoke to reporters alongside Puerto Rican Governor Ricardo Rossello on Thursday. And of course, the situation in Puerto Rico came up.
A reporter asked Trump “between one and ten, how would you grade the White House response?” Of course, the egomaniac Trump gave himself the highest grade possible.
Trump said, “I say it was a 10.” Then Trump tried to justify what a great job he’s done.
But Trump’s response only centered on how bad the storm was. He really didn’t talk about his administration’s response to the crisis.
Trump mumbled, “I’d say it was probably it was the most difficult, um—when you talk about relief, when you talk about search, when you talk about all of the different levels, ah, and even when you talk about lives saved, if you look at the number.”
“I think it was worse than [Hurricane] Katrina, it was in many ways worse than anything people have ever seen,” continued Trump.

It’s hard to make out any sort of coherent statement from Trump’s rambling. He seemed to acknowledge that the storm was bad.
But he couldn’t point out how his administration handled it. So he turned to Rossello to bail him out.
Trump asked Rossello, “Did the United States, did our government, when we came in, did we do a great job?” Rossello, however, didn’t directly answer Trump’s question.
Instead, Rosello merely replied, “You responded immediately, sir.” Rosello didn’t have the guts to tell Trump how bad things really are.
For example, only 20 percent of the island has power. And clean water still isn’t available to 35 percent of the population.
Some residents have even turned to drinking toxic water from a federal Superfund site. The situation in Puerto Rico remains dire.

Maybe Rossello chickened out because he still needs Trump’s help to restore his home. But he wasn’t ready to directly commend Trump on the job he’s done.

Let’s face it, though, Trump’s response to Hurricane Maria was a disaster. It took weeks for the federal government to send aid when it should have taken days.
Puerto Ricans lost most of their infrastructure after the hurricane. They needed FEMA on the ground immediately to start handing out water and food.
And Trump didn’t even bother to visit the disaster site until about two weeks later. And he only seemed to go because of his critics.
Trump was more concerned about the Puerto Rican budget than dealing with this natural disaster. And he decided it was more important to pick a fight with the NFL than help U.S. citizens.
Trump may have given his performance a 10, but most Puerto Ricans would likely give his pathetic effort a one or zero. Share this post on Facebook if you agree!

ALERT: Puerto Rico Issues Powerful Order Directly to Trump
The governor of Puerto Rico just told Donald Trump off in a major way, and we ALL know it’s well-deserved. Trump’s response to the crises in Puerto Rico has been downright abysmal since day one, and Governor Rosselló is demanding that Trump treat the island’s calamities just like he treated the devastation in Texas and Florida—nothing more and nothing less.
The fact of the matter is that there is still an unfathomable amount of existential suffering on Puerto Rico right now, as the island struggles to cope with the aftermath of a once-in-a-century-storm AND an extraordinarily incompetent federal response courtesy of Supreme Leader Pumpkin King.
So Gov. Rosselló traveled to the White House this week to continue to lay down the case for increased aid to the island, to continue to explain that 80 percent of locales in Puerto Rico don’t have a functioning electrical grid and 28 percent of the populace have no access to clean water. You wouldn’t know it, though, by the sick way Trump was describing his VALIANT efforts.
Having the gall of a mad Roman emperor, Trump sat next to the governor in the White House and literally said that his administration should get an “A+” for their response to the disasters in Puerto Rico. WTF. This is unhinged vanity, unhinged insanity or some horrifying combination of the two.
But Gov. Rosselló wasn’t going to let the meeting go by without getting his call-to-action out. Right to Trump’s face, he demanded that Puerto Rico get the same level of federal response that Florida and Texas received after those states were hit by hurricanes.
“Give the U.S. citizens of Puerto Rico the adequate resources,” the Gov. said. “Treat us the same as citizens in Texas and Florida and elsewhere, and we will come out of this stronger.” A stinging rebuke, to be sure, and one that isn’t and won’t be lost on Trump.
Look for the Orange Tyrant to be going on a Twitter rant in short order. You can just see it now:
Gov. Rosello comments sick, very unfair. We gave Puerto Rico more aid than any state ever. Historians already talking about it!
Right, not too off the mark. Trump is insane for thinking that his administration deserves an A+ for what has easily been the worst federal response to a national disaster in the U.S. in American history.
May God be with the Puerto Rican people. Because Donald Trump certainly is not.

America unquestionably hangs in the balance during these dark days. Trump has plunged America to the verge of catastrophe, and he’s not slowing down.
This monster must be stopped; he has already caused deaths in Puerto Rico. Before things spiral beyond the point of no return, he MUST be stopped.

BREAKING: Republicans Humiliate Mike Pence
Mike Pence may be the vice president, but that doesn’t mean people give a crap about what he has to say. Pence just found this out the hard way, as the Colorado GOP just humiliatingly SLASHED ticket prices to a Pence-led fundraiser because it was clear no one was about to show up. Mike Pence can’t even fill a room, while Biden filled an auditorium this week—the American people aren’t stupid.
Pence is CLEARLY trying to consolidate alliances and popularity ahead of Donald Trump’s obviously imminent impeachment, because he’d like to be able to hit the ground running when the time comes. But the only thing Pence is going to hit is his head against the wall if he keeps getting humiliated like he’s just been.
Per the Denver Post, next Thursday, Pence will be leading a fundraiser at the Denver Marriott Tech Center. The only problem is, NO ONE’S been buying tickets. No one wants to come. So much for building popularity and alliances, eh?
So, in a majorly embarrassing concession, the Colorado GOP has officially slashed the ticket prices of the event across the board—for example, basic tickets went from $275 down to $150. Ouch.
“We couldn’t fill the large room at that ticket level,” said Daniel Cole, the Colorado Republican party’s spokesman. And, indeed, this is a grassroots, in-the-trenches revelation that is very telling: everyday Republicans don’t want to attend Pence visits because he, nor the Trump administration, inspire ANY confidence.
For comparison, Hillary Clinton traveled to Denver just weeks ago to sign books at an event, and it was a madhouse. The waiting list was full, and tickets were completely sold out. That’s because people actually respect Hillary Clinton—she DOES inspire confidence.
At the end of the day, it’s an overall loss for the GOP, and quite a humiliating one at that. The event is meant to raise money for the state GOP. So the fact that Pence’s unpopularity is making ticket prices get halved means the Republicans are just going to take in less money because Pence…well, he sucks.
This little PR blitz from Pence is sad. And it’s pointless. He’s caught up in Russiagate just like the rest of the upper echelon of Team Trump.
If he becomes president, it surely won’t be for long. That much is clear.
In the meantime, let us continue to rally against his missteps. America deserves better.

BREAKING: GOP Lawmaker Issues Disgusting Threat to Poor People
One congresswoman has an idea for reducing health care costs, and it shows just how unhinged the GOP has become. Rep. Diane Black (R-TN) thinks that emergency rooms should be able to deny medical services to those in need.
“I’m an emergency room nurse,” she told MSNBC, speaking to Chuck Todd. She talked about people coming into the ER, and how she was often the first to treat them.
“I could have sent them to a walk-in clinic or their doctor the next day, but because of a law that Congress put into place to say, no, I have to treat everybody that walks into that emergency room.”
Not a very compassionate attitude from a nurse.
“You took away our ability to say, ‘no, an emergency room is not the proper place,'” she said.
Black is referring to the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act.
Ronald Reagan signed this bill into law in 1986, and it prevents ERs from turning people away. At the time, “patient dumping” was widespread, with hospitals turning away people who did not have insurance.
Largely, patient dumping affected people of color and low-income earners who were unemployed or underemployed.
Now, at least one congresswoman wants to repeal this law.
“What it did is crowd my emergency room, where I work,” she said of the 1986 law.
Actually, hospitals are not legally required to treat all patients who come to their door. However, they must accept all patients if they want to use Medicare funds.
Republicans have frequently tried to change the health care system in America. And Donald Trump is particularly interested in destroying Obamacare in any way he can.
After two failed attempts to pass a new healthcare bill, Donald Trump has now taken to issuing executive orders designed to make Obamacare fail. He doesn’t care that these orders will destroy people’s lives.
Though Trump and much of the Republican party claim otherwise, Obamacare is and has been very stable. Millions of Americans have health insurance solely because of Obamacare, and the insurance marketplace is stable thanks to a large number of healthy people who still sign up for Obamacare, properly the Affordable Care Act.
Republicans have hated Obamacare since the moment it was signed, and spent half of Obama’s presidency bringing votes to repeal the bill to the floor. Republicans still haven’t passed a repeal bill under a brand new administration.
Health insurance companies command a vast amount of power on Capitol Hill by virtue of the campaign contributions they frequently hand out. The pharmaceutical industry is a billion-dollar business in the U.S., and their lobbyists aren’t interested in making health care and drugs more affordable.
But it’s all too clear that the GOP has no interest in making healthcare more affordable. And comments like Black’s only drive home the point that Republicans don’t care about poor people.

ALERT: Trump Issues Sick NFL Demand
The NFL just rebuked President Trump’s demand that players stand for the national anthem. So Trump threatened the league with a sickening ultimatum.
This week, the NFL owners met for their annual meeting. They also included members of the player’s union and protesting players to discuss the issue of players kneeling during the anthem.
Anthem protests have heated up during the past month because of Trump’s threats against the players. It’s an issue that’s drawn a lot of uncomfortable attention to the league from both supporters and critics.
But in the end, the owners decided to stand up for free speech. They promised there would be no consequences for players who take a knee during the anthem.
Not only that, but the NFL also promised to support some of the causes that the players are fighting for—such as criminal justice reform.
This was a direct rebuke to Donald Trump. And as you can image, the authoritarian Trump didn’t take it too well at all.
Trump rose early on Wednesday to blast the league. He criticized the NFL for not forcing the players to stand during the national anthem.

Trump must think this is North Korea. He seems to believe that he can force people to salute our flag and himself.
But this is America. Our citizens have the right to kneel or sit during the anthem if they choose.
It’s called the First Amendment. Maybe Trump should look into it sometime.
But Trump’s comments also obscure the fact that the players aren’t trying to disrespect our country or veterans. That’s just another Trump lie.
The protests were started last year by former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick. His goal was to protest police brutality against minorities.
Since then, several other players have joined in the protests. They chose to kneel to show that they mean no disrespect to our military or veterans.

The truth is that Trump’s only using this issue to fire up his base. He continues to divide our country so that he can stay in power.
And Trump’s the one who actually disrespects our country. For example, he keeps attacking veterans like Senator John McCain (R-AZ) that dare to stand up to his fascist agenda.
Trump also disrespects soldiers who fall in battle and uses them to score political points. He wouldn’t even acknowledge the recent deaths of Army soldiers in Niger because it was politically uncomfortable.
He also waited almost two weeks to call the families to offer his condolences. And when he finally did call, he made disrespectful remarks to one of the widows.

WATCH: Eric Holder Destroys Trump’s Military Disrespect In Viral Video
President Obama’s former Attorney General Eric Holder just went on CNN to BLAST Donald Trump’s outrageous allegations that Obama didn’t routinely called and interact with the families of fallen U.S. troops. Holder can testify as well as anyone that Obama OFTEN comforted the families of soldiers. But can Trump say the same? NO.
After Trump caught major heat for refusing to comfort the families of four U.S. heroes who were killed during an ambush in Africa, he decided to attack Obama just to needlessly kick up some dirt. For example, earlier this week, Trump referred to the death of Robert Kelly, the son of his Chief of Staff John Kelly, who died in Afghanistan in 2010. “You could ask Gen. Kelly, did he get a call from Obama?” Trump sickly said.
So Holder can’t hold his tongue any longer. He lined up an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper and immediately took his indignation before the American people: he had to defend Obama’s honor.
“I would’ve said, Mr. President, you crossed the line here. And you know, I understand you’ve got a tough job. I generally hold my powder, but that was a line that you crossed.”
“To imply that President Obama was not appropriately sensitive, was not appropriately involved, was something that I was simply not going to allow to go unaddressed,” Holder said. “That made me mad in a way that few other things have.”
These remarks aren’t even Holder’s first condemnation of Trump’s allegations, either. Earlier, a clearly enraged Holder took to Twitter to obliterate the outrageously facetious nature of Trump’s smokescreen.
“Stop the damn lying – you’re the President,” Holder tweeted. “I went to Dover AFB [Air Force Base] with 44 [Obama] and saw him comfort the families of both the fallen military & DEA.”
How Trump has the gall to utter such shameless lies on live TV for the whole world to see is simply astounding. But what’s truly horrifying is that millions of Trumpists buy this crap for real.
Obama was one of the most compassionate presidents the American people will ever have. Just ask any of the widowed families that he encountered during his presidency and you’ll know his true character.
Trump, on the other hand, is a monster. He’s done nothing but bring hatred and vitriol to the American political arena, and his belligerent personality is insulting the memories of our fallen troops, not honoring them.

WATCH: Jake Tapper Exposes Trump’s Nastiness to Military Families
Recently, CNN’s Jake Tapper laid out all the times Donald Trump has insulted members of the military and their families. And the list is more shocking than you think.
Trump has come under fire recently for his insensitive and false remarks regarding four Green Berets who were killed in action while fighting against ISIS in Niger.
Trump made several mistakes following the four deaths, which marked the most deadly military conflict under his administration. First, he waited nearly two weeks to make any statement at all about the fallen soldiers.
When he finally did speak about them, he said a lot of the wrong things—in typical Trump fashion. Trump reportedly told one grieving widow her husband “knew what he signed up for” when joining the military. The White House has repeatedly denied this claim, however.
Trump also never used the name of the fallen soldier—Sgt. La David Johnson—while speaking to his widow, repeatedly referring to him as “your guy.” It seemed clear to Mrs. Johnson that Trump did not know her husband’s name, a fact which reportedly “devastated” her.
As Tapper points out, it doesn’t matter if the White House denies that this happened. That’s because “the family heard what it heard” and “if the president was completely misunderstood, his attempt at comfort failed.”
When he did speak about the Green Berets, Trump did so by patting himself on the back. He pointed to past presidents in general and President Barack Obama by name, saying these other commanders-in-chief never even bothered to make phone calls to family members of slain servicemen and women.
Multiple media outlets, including this one, have proven this statement to be completely untrue. Presidents have been writing letters, making calls, and reaching out to family members of fallen military personnel for generations.
Abraham Lincoln, for example, famously wrote a letter to one grieving mother shortly before he died. She lost five sons to the Union Army in the Civil War.
Tapper’s list of Trump’s failures when addressing those who serve in the military begins with John McCain, current senator (R-AZ) and a POW of the Vietnam War. McCain was held in captivity in absolutely unthinkable conditions for five years.
Sen. McCain was tortured repeatedly during this time, and lived to come back to the U.S. He ran for president in 2008 along with running mate Sarah Palin, losing by a huge margin to Barack Obama.
Trump drew sharp criticism for belittling McCain’s sacrifice while campaigning for the presidency. At the time, Trump mocked McCain for being captured and suggested he’s not actually a war hero, saying “I like people who weren’t captured.”
Donald Trump has never served in the military in any capacity. Or at least, not until January of this year, when he became its Commander-in-Chief by virtue of the Electoral College. Thank you, Electoral College.
Tapper next spoke about the Khans, the two Gold Star parents who rose to national fame during the Democratic National Convention. Mr. Khan became an overnight political celebrity when he brandished his own copy of the U.S. Constitution and offered to let then-candidate Trump read it.
Trump fired back at the parents, whose Muslim son gave his life for the U.S. in Iraq, attacking their religion and the two of them personally. That was before he won the election. People voted for him after that.
Tapper’s list goes on. He then pointed to an appearance made by Trump shortly after his inauguration, when he spoke to the CIA while standing before the wall commemorating those who have died in service to this country.
While standing before this wall that memorializes the dead, some of America’s best and brightest, Donald Trump screamed about the media and the reports of his inaugural crowd.
You may remember that then-White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer willingly lied about the size of Trump’s inaugural crowds, a lie that the White House has continued to maintain.
Now, Trump is lying about past presidents and insulting the widows of fallen Special Forces soldiers.
Many former presidents have personally called family members of fallen soldiers, though it is much more common for them to write letters instead. Many former presidents also go to meet the bodies being returned from overseas, arriving to greet the planes as they deliver the caskets.
Donald Trump did not.

BREAKING: NFL Owners Defy Trump
NFL owners decided to openly defy President Trump this week. The owners refused to punish players who kneel during the national anthem in protest of police abuses.
The kneeling protests have grown in recent weeks. And the issue gained more attention after Trump attacked the players during a campaign rally.
Trump blasted the protesting players as unpatriotic. He also said that the NFL owners should fire any players who refuse to stand for the anthem.
That led to even more protests, many now directed at Trump. Their response caused Trump supporters to become irate and threaten to boycott the games.
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones sounded like he was going to cave in to Trump last week. He promised that any player who kneels during the anthem wouldn’t play.
Soon after, Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross also made the same threat to his players. The owners started taking a more hard-line approach against the players.
It looked like Trump might win this fight. But then all the owners discussed the issue during their annual meeting this week.

Several owners were present at the meeting. Also present were representatives from the player’s union and some of the protesting players.
It looks like the players won the argument. The league decided not to cave to Trump’s tyrannical demands.
The NFL decided on Tuesday that it won’t punish players who continue to kneel during the national anthem. The league also promised to support the causes that the players have advocated, including reform of the criminal justice system.
This is a major win for free speech and the rights of the NFL players. It was also a direct rebuke to the bullying Trump.
The crybaby Trump took the bad news like he always does. He complained and spread lies on Twitter.

In the meantime, Trump refused to acknowledge the soldiers killed in Niger this month. He also made insensitive comments to the widow of one of those soldiers.
Not to mention that he insulted Gold Star families on several occasions, like the Kahns. And he insulted veterans like Senator John McCain (R-AZ).
Trump’s the one who has total disrespect for our nation. This hypocrite has no respect for our military or their families.
Trump’s also been more worried about the NFL protests than the humanitarian crisis in Puerto Rico. He’s more worried about stifling free speech than saving U.S. citizens.

WATCH: Al Franken Meticulously Obliterated Jeff Sessions On Russia
During Jeff Sessions’ latest outrageous testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, we were once again disgusted to see Sessions REFUSE to operate with congressional investigators’ questions. But we were also again greatly amused to see Sen. Al Franken destroy Sessions’ clear sketchiness regarding the whole Russiagate affair. It was a roast if there ever was one.
Sessions appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee this week to help congressional investigators understand the Russiagate case better. But Sessions wasn’t prepared for the badgering Sen. Franken had prepared for him. Franken skewered the AG over continuously “moving the goalposts” over his communications with Russians.
“First it was, ‘I did not have communications with Russians,’ which was not true,” Franken said to Sessions. “Then it was, ‘I never met with any Russians to discuss any political campaign,’ which may or may not be true. Now it’s, ‘I did not discuss interference in the campaign,’ which further narrows your initial blanket denial about meetings with the Russians.”
“Since you have qualified your denial to say that you did not, quote, discuss issues of the campaign with the Russians, what in your view constitutes ‘issues of the campaign?’” asked Franken. OUCH. Can you imagine answering that question in front of a room full of people and cameras?
Neither could Sessions, so he decided to doge instead. In responding to Franken’s more than fair question, Sessions delivered a non-answer, because that’s just about the only trick left in his bag at this point.
“I have conducted no improper discussions with Russians at any time regarding a campaign or any other item facing this country,” Sessions said. Well, that DEFINITELY didn’t satisfy Franken.
“Not being able to recall what you discussed with him is very different than saying, ‘I have not had communications with the Russians,’” Franken said. “The ambassador of Russia is a Russian.”

Sessions went on and on about this or that, but he never did answer Franken’s pressing queries in a straightforward manner He’s clearly hiding the truth, and he’s doing it because he knows the truth will destroy him and anyone of consequence in the Trump campaign.
Treason is afoot, and Sessions is helping to hide it. He’s not with us; he’s against us.
He will surely go down in history has the most ignominious AG in our nation’s entire history. Rightfully so, too.

BREAKING: Gold Star Mom Destroys Trump
Donald Trump’s appalling behavior toward grieving families following the death of four Green Beret soldiers killed in Niger has shocked the nation. One Gold Star mother, who lost her son in Iraq, is now speaking out against the president—and she isn’t pulling any punches.
Trump waited almost two weeks before publicly speaking about the death of the Green Berets, who were killed in the bloodiest conflict of his presidency to date.
U.S. Special Forces soldiers are in Niger due to the rise of ISIS in the region. Donald Trump did not meet the arriving bodies of the fallen soldiers when they were shipped back to the U.S., and waited nearly 14 days before making any statement about them at all.
When he finally did speak on the tragedy, Donald Trump lied about President Barack Obama and other past presidents by saying only he, Donald Trump, has made phone calls to grieving families.
That’s bad enough, but there’s more. While speaking to one grieving widow, he told her that her late husband “knew what he signed up for” when he joined the military.
One Gold Star mom has had enough. Karen Meredith is the mother of First Lt. Ken Ballard, who died in Iraq in service to the U.S.
“Mr. Trump, stop. Please, just stop,” she said in a message to VoteVets.
“Your actions and words on this entire matter of the fallen in Niger is disgraceful, and unbecoming of a president of the United States and commander in chief,” said Meredith.
“This is not about you, it is about them,” she said. “It is about all of us who lost our loved ones in war. For once in your life, please stop making everything about you.”
She added, “For once in your life, at least pretend to know what empathy is. For once in your life, at least try to care about other people and their feelings.”
Yowzah. Meredith hit the nail on the head with her statement, one that unfortunately the president probably will not take to heart.
In Donald Trump’s world, everything is about him. Everyone thinks he’s the greatest president ever. He probably thinks families are happy to lose spouses and children, as long as it serves Donald Trump.
Trump has often professed his great love of the military, but he has made many comments that would seem to contradict this love of the troops.
Previously, Trump attacked Vietnam War vet and sitting Senator John McCain (R-AZ) because he was a prisoner of war. “I like people who weren’t captured,” Trump said at the time.
When Trump spoke to Myeshia Johnson, the wife of the fallen soldier whom he told “knew what he signed up for,” Trump did not know Johnson’s name.
He kept calling Sgt. La David Johnson “your guy” rather that refer to him by name. His widow was reportedly devastated by the call, which she found incredibly offensive since Trump did not even refer to her husband by name—a man who just gave his life for America.
Donald Trump has denied that this is what happened during the phone call, and even stated that he will provide proof that this didn’t happen. So far, he has not done so.

ALERT: Trump Gets Awful News From Puerto Rico, This Is His Fault
Residents of Puerto Rico have resorted to drinking toxic water. The situation in Puerto Rico has become worse, and it’s all President Trump’s fault.
It’s been a month since Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico. Most residents still don’t have power, and 35 percent don’t have access to safe drinking water.
Water is one of the necessities of life. So Puerto Ricans have resorted to extreme measures to get the water they so desperately need.
That includes taking contaminated water from toxic Superfund sites! These victims have had to make the hard choice of dying of thirst now or from toxic chemicals later.
Worse yet, the island’s water utility distributed contaminated water to residents! Autoridad de Acueductos y Alcantarillados didn’t realize the well at the Dorado Groundwater Contamination Site was part of the federal Superfund program.
Superfund sites are highly contaminated and targeted by the federal government for hazardous waste cleanup. Normally, they’re secured from the public.
CNN had to get involved and let the utility know it was putting its customers in danger. And the EPA had to eventually step in.

The EPA hired contractors to repair the fencing about the Superfund site. According to the agency, “local security is stationed at the wells to prevent access.”
And the EPA has stationed a water truck and water bottles in the area to try and meet people’s needs. But for some Puerto Ricans, it’s too little, too late.
Overall, things are actually getting worse on the island, though. Raw sewage has poured into Puerto Rico’s rivers and reservoirs.
Many people don’t have access to running water. They’ve resorted to bathing and washing their clothes in those contaminated streams.
According to Food & Water Watch Executive Director Wenonah Hauter, “It’s been nearly one month since Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico, and yesterday, official numbers on drinking water access inexplicably declined from 72 percent to 65 percent. The number has crept up to only 69 percent today, when we should be seeing much more significant progress.”

President Trump delayed his response to Hurricane Maria for weeks.
So now about a third of Puerto Ricans lack safe running water, and most don’t have power.

And where is Trump in all of this? He’s been too busy fighting with the NFL and destroying Obamacare.
Trump didn’t even visit the island until about two weeks after the hurricane hit. It only took him a few days to visit Texas and Florida after their hurricanes.
But then again, Hispanics don’t dominate those states. Trump seems to regard Puerto Ricans as second-class citizens.
And when Trump did visit Puerto Rico, all he did was brag about what a great job he was doing and how well the recovery effort was going. Instead of handing out meals and water, he tossed out paper towels to the desperate crowds.
