Sorry my webcomic moves so slowly as I work on Mortasheen (that's just about done!!!) and it has been actual years since any of its most popular characters have even appeared but here's crude scribbles from five minutes ago of the doctor in whatever poses these are, if that's something you like

Propaganda for Fern because i LOVE her and everyone should read Awful Hospital

Her name is Fern, she is 38 years old, her height is 5'6", weighs 239 lb, and is the main character of a Horror/Sci-Fi/Comedy interactive webcomic run by @bogleech.

She is literally the BEST mom ever in any fictional series trust me i am very trustworthy.

She spends most of the comic fighting for her and her son's life against bizarre alien-esque creatures.

All she knows is her son kept getting sicker and sicker, and that one day she woke up in The Hospital. Now she's in this weird place and all she wants is to get her son back and go back to the real world.

She can fight, she is a terrible liar, she has made friends with a lot of oddball characters, and she is willing to go through hell and back to save her infant son.

She's highly implied to be aromantic and asexual as she has stated that relationships aren't for her and that the person she had her kid with was an experiment that didn't work out.

She has died numerous times on this journey and it hasn't deterred her. She has been inside a morgue full of nothing but her own dead corpses.

She is working against forces she quite literally cannot comprehend and yet she is willing to keep going.

She has literally traveled inside one of her dead corpses and befriended the bacteria and fungi eating her decomposing corpse. And then two of those friends went on to pilot one of her corpses like a mecha and they also got married and are now the coolest lesbians in all of existence.

She is basically the chosen one who has to save the world, except she wasn't really chosen or destined to do this. It was just pure bad luck that she ended up in this scenario and she cares about her son too much to quit.

For like the first year of the comic's running it was a continuous thing that none of the readers knew her name. And so she was called Ms.Green by all of them. Then, like 500 pages in, it was finally revealed that her name is Fern.

Despite being surrounded by other creatures who have WAY more power than her and Fern being just a normal human, Fern still does her best to stand her ground in fights. And most of the time she manages to win.

She will NEVER give up on her son. It doesn't matter how many terrible things she learns about his condition. It doesn't matter if all of existence is at stake. Nothing matters to her except finding him and making sure he will be ok.
