So I wanna make a comic thing that has a long running story but I have no experience in the following:

Writing

Background Art

Balancing character abilities

Making a cohesive storyline

I have a few characters and concepts so far but no major details about them other than abilities and appearances

Timelines: Basically this story’s version of multiverses, where a timeline holds all the gods, the universes, and the dimensions. All timelines die after a certain point, but can be ended prematurely or kept alive forever by outside influence.

Universe Layers: every universe has layers, which are the following:

The great beyond: the outside of the universes, filled with an energy storm that’s dangerous to even the divines, and can destroy them within 24 hours of exposure.

The barrier: the only layer of protection for a universe. If the barrier is destroyed, the great beyond leaks in and destroys everything.

The Hostile lands: another energy storm within the universe that stops all mortals from getting to the barrier.

Greater Space: The area outside the Milky Way and its surrounding galaxies, this expanse continues until it hits the hostile lands.

Local Space: The Milky Way and its surrounding galaxies.

Don [last name pending]: A teenage boy with an unknown origin, has an unwarranted reputation of being untrustworthy, and has abilities that frighten those around him, despite being severely underdeveloped.

Now for the more op characters

Illomino, Supreme Judgement: He is the only one who can permanently decide a soul’s fate. Determined souls can make it past various trials in the afterlife to appeal to him to get moved to a different afterlife, though nobody has managed to alter their eternal fate successfully.

Tru’un, Order’s Enforcer: Upholds the Laws of Reality, imposed long ago. It is responsible for punishing those who escape their universe, or break reality in any way.

Ysslire, Embodied Cosmos: Observes and embodies the cosmos. Not much is known about it’s personality or influence, but it’s said that if it is damaged, a major calamity will occur within the timeline.

Thuumbra, Bringer of Storms: Responsible for the creation of weather in all universes, and the creator of the energy storm that surrounds every universe which protects the divine world.

The Beyonder: An entity allegedly more powerful than the 4 Divines, that abandoned the timeline shortly after it’s creation.

I have no idea where to take this information other than here for some reason. I have a starting point, which shows don at his lowest, and sets up a bit of mystery with an odd dream, but I don’t know where to expand from here. Call me weird, stupid, whatever. But I like these characters and their weirdness, and I wanna have a framework to make a neat story when I get motivation. I await your responses.

Hopefully I can bury this post later when (or if) this idea turns into a comic because I don’t want people spoiling themselves lol

Meet the fiend herself. A devious beast of unbridled energy and cunning.
