Broke: Diana's life is unfulfilled because she is without a man
Better: Diana's life is unfulfilled because she is immortal and has experienced the loss of everyone she grows close to, and does not want to experience that loss again. Bringing back one of those people helps her appreciate the time she has with people and accept change and loss as natural.
Broke: Dr. Minerva is uncool because she can't walk in heals and has frizzy hair and glasses
Better: Dr. Minerva is "uncool" because she doesn't believe in herself
Broke: Diana cannot save the world without her powers
Better: Diana's true powers are her unwavering faith in humanity despite seeing the darkest it has to offer, her willingness to sacrifice, dedication to truth, her vast knowledge/intelligence, and her perseverance/stubbornness when people tell her she can't do something she knows she can, and her love and support of peace over violence.
