Hello I'm a 6,1 ft guy from Tweante who loves fantasy novels, old maps and riding the bus alone. In my blog one can find book reviews, drawings, general observations of modern culture, sometimes compared to lost cultures and stuff I was thinking about. I also occasionally get my ass kicked by a bunch of guys with swords. No, not role-playing, sword fighting, no not fencing, sword fighting.
Other stuff I like (and from time to time truly love (more than mere humans)) are: GAMING: Mass effect (1-2-3), (modded) minecraft, LotRO, Counterstrike (source), Europa Universalis (III, IV), Anno (2070), Empire Earth II, The Settlers 3; READING: Books by: R.A. Salvatore (Drizzt 'n Stuff), by J.R.R Tolkien (and not just lotr/hobbit), Raymond, E. Feist. All sorts of fantasy. LISTENING TO MUSIC: Iron Maiden, Sabaton, Kamelot, Metallica, Asking Alexandria, all sorts of Heavy Metal; MAKING ART: mostly sketchy drawings of maps and scenery and futuristic or fantasy lands. random sketches of armour and (fantasy/alien) creatures.

A biotech system that allows scientists to turn neurons in your brain on and off using different colors of light. The technique, which requires brain implants, already works in rodents, who can be compelled to turn in a specific direction. Imagine what would happen if optogenetics were used to regulate human behavior.
