Audrey almost laughs at the comment,
but she stops herself as she feels a stain
of bitterness on the tip of her tongue. She
looks down, studying her feet, if only she
knew she could trust this person, she's
growing tired of hiding from this part of
herself, even if it's part that scares her
most. She glances back up meeting the
girl's eyes, a smile finds her lips, but it's
not exactly a particularly happy one.

frown permeates her lips as she turns from the woman
to the b e l l o w i n g smoke – a hand motions towards it,

air. what to do? what to do? is this woman an - ally - or
an // enemy. // it was often d i f f i c u l t to tell anymore.
“so long as you don’t even
think of breathin’ a word
of this to ANYONE i’ll
forgive you.”
Audrey swallows, drawing in a deep breath. She
can tell the other is fairly distrusting of her already.
She wants to tell her that she's different too, that
she understands, but just because someone is
also dealing with similar circumstances doesn't
mean they're necessarily trustworthy themselves.
Still she offers a gentle smile to the stranger, trying
to reassure her that her secret is indeed safe with her.
"I wouldn't d r e a m of it.

╳ SO MUCH FOCUS is put upon the largefire in
the middle of the woods – controlling how it
f o r m e d in the pit she had built && keeping it
from < spreading > equally difficult tasks. she
is so [ enveloped ] in perfecting the power of
pyrokinesis that it takes her quite a while
to realize someone is watching – && once she
does the f i r e goes out immediately, leaving
nothing behind aside from smoke && ash – of
which she could manipulate as well. looking
in the direction of where she swears she can
feel eyes boring into her – she almost snarls.
“——-who’s there?!?! it would be
smart of you to just show yourself
otherwise i may just force the reveal.”
Audrey was just watching, honest.
She was simply curious, seeing
others with strange abilities quite
often peaked her interests. It made
her feel less alone in a sense and
naturally seeing anyone with powers
of any sort would grab anyone's
attention. She had only meant
to watch for a little while and be on
her way but, stupid and typically
clumsy Audrey--stepped on a twig.
Noting the young girl's panic she
quickly stepped out into the open
for her to see.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to
scare you. I was just a
little curious--that's all."
