alright found another trope that i just cant stand. the ML redemption trope. i can't stand it. mainly because the author always goes to far with how shitty the ML gets to treated the MC before the MC has enough and the ML realizes they actually love the MC. like the harshness just doesn't make sense and you honestly dont know how they are going to come back from this.
for example, im reading the villain duke's precious one. im already iffy about how they are going to get into a romantic relationship since they have been treating each other as siblings. now we also have to worry about all the mumbo gumbo that has to do with the heir selection and sacrifices. he was planning to sacrifice her how do you come back from that. "its ok i forgive you becuase i know you actually care about me and im going to save you". i bet thats how its going to go. also side note, i think they should have just made the ML yuri not Dietrich in this story.
but my goodness unless this trope is written better. the ML redemption trope really pisses me off because 90 percent of the time the ML does some unspeakable shit and the MC just let them like doormats.

Watched damsel on Netflix it was so good. Like kept my family and I on the edge of our seats. The movie was so phenomenal we sat and talked about for a long time but one thing that kept us baffled to the point of seeing if they have a novel was how did the royals get them to smell like them. Like realistically, we have two options for this. One, It was just the fact that the blood lingered on her wound, and the dragon was just so hyper focused on killing her because she smelled royal blood that she didn’t care to smell if it was just a lingering scent or if it was her real scent. but there’s a flaw in that theory because the Dagon was literally trying to smell and hear her to try and find her. With the amount of times she got hurt, her real blood should’ve seeped through and smelled stronger. so then our thought process with that was the other method we thought of. the other method was The ritual to cut the hands and share the blood was actually a way too infuse the royal blood into their systems with magic. Like dark magic most likely dark magic. What are anyone else’s thoughts or did the writer say anything

New disliked trope
When they have the FL and 2nd ML have more of an explained and nurtured relationship than they do for the FL and ML. Like why we got the 2nd ML and FL having such a beautiful heartwarming friendship/ romantic connection but the actual couple don’t even like each other/ doesn’t know if they like each other. I’m currently reading a talented maid and I’m 30 chapters in. And I got to say I’m more for Kiel than crown prince because that’s the only relationship moving forward. Since the main couple can’t be because her identity is the main plot line and she’s trying to avoid being discovered by the ML. Now we get to play duck duck romance because we don’t know how they are going to get closer to have a relationship. Which isn’t going to be good. It’s one of the reasons why I hate this trope because now we rooting for the wrong man when we already know who the ML is.

I love reading bl the ones I used to read were all wholesome love stories. There was some angst but most were love stories. Now a days they are all tragic and traumatic. I feel that way about all new releases. I’m just saying I don’t see the same depiction with straight romances like this one just released on tapas about a man being tricked into a marriage with this heiress only to reveal that her brother was behind it for revenge against the MC and the revenge apparently is going to be doing it with him. Sigh this is way I stopped reading bls as much.

when I’m looking for new stories to read, I like to generally see what everybody thought of it before hand. I don’t want the spoilers, I just want to get a feel of how I should go in the story, like what should I be prepared for. you know, especially if the rating for the story is less than 7 out of 10 stars or 3 out of 5 stars. I like to see why it got that rating. So the thing that bothers me the most is seeing people are dropping the story and down voting it because the ML has long hair or something to do with an appearance. Like you gave it a shitty rating and dropped it Cause you didn’t like long hair or you didn’t like glasses. it’s your opinion I get that but you down rated this comic because you didn’t like an appearance. The stories phenomenal, arts fantastic, but the ML’s appearance you didn’t like it so you downgraded this story, that really bothers me.

I’m telling you some of these maids written in these stories don’t make no sense. Especially maids in the palace or duchy like off with their heads. They really shouldn’t be getting away with this stuff

Comedic romance fantasy manhwa/mangas are the best. I personal feel like they always have a great balance of fantasy to comedy. also they are always action packed. Also unlike most stories now a days, actually has the romance part in the romance fantasy story.
