The Graveyard is by far one of the hardest parts in this bizarre fan game. Dark nuts, Redeads, Like likes and a new enemy type called False ones reside in the Graveyard. The false ones will not stop until they drain your health entirely, so be extremely careful with them. Luckily they won't chase after you unless you walk in front of them, so they're not that difficult to get past. Their design is very strange though, they look like Link from the official game, but they don't have a face or arms and they're in black.
Just like the original Minish cap, you have to reach Dampé's house, but for an entirely different reason. In Minish cap he gives you a key, but in z.fgba he won't be there, instead you have to steal something from a dresser in his home. The item you obtain from the dresser is called "Flesh rippers" which replaces the mole mits, unlike the mole mits the flesh rippers can actually pick up and throw small enemies, but for bigger enemies it does damage overtime as if they bleed.
What you're supposed to do is find Dampé and talk to him, he tells you that he thinks some girl wondered into the graveyard by herself and that you have the lantern, he then asks you if he can borrow it so he can look for the girl which brings up a Yes/No box. If you choose no he tells you not to go in there as you're too young to go yourself.
If you say yes he thanks you for being a kind soul and proceeds through the gate, a text box appears afterwards "Cole. You need to go after him. He'll die otherwise. Do you really want someone else close to you to die? Follow him now, child!" It's then revealed that the person who's been talking to Cole this entire time was his cap. You're then supposed to follow Dampé and wonder in the dark for a short time. Eventually you find his body next to the largest grave in the center, but he isn't dead.
If you examine his body you're greeted by a text box which reads: "Your morals prevent you from letting him suffer further, but you have never killed anyone before. The choice is yours, child..." You're supposed to finish him off with the flesh rippers to get the lantern back, you won't be able to progress without it. You have to enter the grave and turn on your lantern and explore inside, eventually you find Swiftblade who teaches you how to use your blade and also gives you an item, "Ben's mask" then Swiftblade says this to you: "I usually avoid murderers, but Zelda asked me to help you in any way I could before you killed her."

Your next destination is Minish woods, but remember that you only have a shield and you have to avoid disturbing monsters. Once you enter Minish woods you'll have to go to the area where in the original game you meet Ezlo, and pick up the item against the right wall which is for some reason a bottle.
Then you have to go to tree stump where Ezlo originally taught you how to shrink to the size of a Minish to trigger a cutsceen where it seems that Cole is sad for some reason. You're then greeted by a text box that reads "There's no use crying over loss, Cole... We need to find that mask."
Next you need to go straight to the first dungeon and complete it with nothing but your shield and bottle as there are no other items to be obtained in that dungeon, but don't worry, because you can use water on all the bosses in the dungeon. After you beat the first dungeon, instead of getting an element, you receive the "Princess' Blade"
This is how you will kill all the enemies in your path and properly defend yourself, however obtaining the blade will trigger another cutsceen where Cole get upset. This time he buries his face into his hands, implying that he's crying for some reason, another text box appears "I'm sorry, Cole... but she's gone for good... there's no way to bring her back... let's continue on."
The Princess' Blade can instantly kill most enemies and is great for the next area, The Graveyard. Once you enter the Graveyard, you'll be greeted with another cutsceen where a dark figure which speeds past Cole, so you begin to chase it down and eventually catch it. Your reward for catching up with it is the lantern to of course aid you in the Graveyard, you will regret it if you don't pick up the lantern.

The Legend of Zelda: The minish cap is a Gameboy Advance exclusive title with the main protagonist being the adorable Toon Link. However, somewhere in the internet, there exists not a "cursed cartridge" or a "cursed ROM hack" but a twisted fan game titled "Zelda .fgba"
Starting the game starts like the original Minish cap does, but the original gave you the option to name Link whatever you liked, Zelda .fgba still uses the same name selection screen, but you can't type in the name you want, instead there is a preset name: Cole
Though the name system is probably strange to most, what might be strange to more is Cole's design. Toon Link bares the traditional green tunic, green cap with blonde hair, white tights and brown boots which are red in The Minish cap, but Cole has a red cap and tunic, soft blue hair, purple tights and boots and always has his left eye closed for some reason.
The original game starts with princess Zelda walking to Link's house and proceeds to ask his grandfather where Link is so she can take him to the Hyrule festival, but Zelda .fgba just begins. No cutsceen, no Link sleeping, no festival, nothing. You start in Cole's house, dead center to which you need to go right and open a chest in the center of the other room to get a key and unlock the front door. (There is nothing else in the house)
After leaving the house you must go north to get to Hyrule castle as all other paths will be blocked. The thing is that you have no items to defend yourself from enemies that weren't there in the original game, so you need to be careful. Once you've gotten to the castle you will be greeted by a chest which contains a shield to have a slightly easier time avoiding enemies, but once you leave the castle, not only will the entrance be blocked off, there will be far more enemies with grotesque and chilling designs.
