been actively avoiding posting this but fuck it , modern au time ( i just wanted to draw hux in a tweed suit jacket)

anyways, this thing took me two-ish weeks to finish cus 70% of the way through finishing it i scrapped phas and hux's pose and redid it from scratch, so if you want to see that here's the link for it + alt colors

I did this commission for @mauthisss a while back and now I can finally post it, so exciting! There is a new chapter of Para Bellum and you should definitely go and read it, this fic has a special place in my heart.

Watched Late Night With The Devil the other night, and it inspired this! 70's Kylux AU, where Hux is a news anchor and Kylo is a late night tv show host. They also work at the same station and sometimes cross paths within the studio. You can imagine how well that turns out 😌

I imagine Kylo and Hux’s first kiss to be in the middle of a heated argument. The tension is thick between them. It’s electric. They’re both shouting, both hating the other one so damn much that there’s no room for anything else.

Is there?

Within his rage, Hux says something vaguely complimentary about Kylo’s strength. He clamps his mouth shut as soon as he’s said it but the air is simmering between them. As quick as a flash, Kylo is unclasping his helmet and throwing it to the side so that he can take hold of Hux’s cheeks in his palms in order to bring their lips together in a powerful kiss.

Hux doesn’t try to pull away. He wants this. He wants Kylo’s body pressed against him, he wants their lips to battle and their hands to roam. He wants every inch of this hellish brute and he wants him now.
