I really don't understand people who dislike Grelle for being a "bad person" like did we not watch the same series? Nobody's hands are clean here. And she killed Madam which made people upset and it's like... did you really think she was going to stay for longer than she did? Kuroshitsuji is a lot of things but subtle isn't one of them (most of the time anyway). She was a walking death flag and how some of y'all didn't assume it is beyond me.

I think people in the fandom who genuinely harbor hate towards dadbastian aren’t actually reading the manga. Because a lot of dadbastian AUs are very much grounded in their canon interactions and the relationship between these two characters is integral to the whole story.

Also this fandom has an awful reputation, so focusing your energy towards hating on a fandom creation that portrays a totally appropriate platonic relationship between two characters is a weird use of your time. Generally if you can’t handle fandoms doing things like creating AUs or pushing canon a little to the left for the sake of fanworks, then you definitely aren’t the kind of person who would even enjoy fandom interactions anyways.

I don't get how people can feel bad for Sebastian. It's always "oh poor Sebastian he gets transphobic goosebumps at Grell's comments" or "poor Sebastian he didn't get to eat Ciel at the end of season 2 :(". Um, he is literally a soulless monster. He puts on a good act but he is not even a person. He is a creature at best and his Sebastian persona is not who or what he really is. Anything he "cares" about he does so because it goes along his aesthetics and contract guidelines. He has shown zero evidence of growing a heart or of even being capable of such a thing. He wants to cultivate yummy souls and to distract himself from the boredom of being eternal and those along with his sense of aesthetics are the only driving factors of his existence. His person isn't harmed by having a few off-color comments thrown his way, he is a demon. Losing out on the deal with Ciel was a just end for him, honestly. Yana herself says he's fake and not someone she would want to associate with. He would gleefully raze the manor and the servants to the ground once the contract is over and you're fooling yourself if you think otherwise.

R!ciel is seriously overhated for simply being an antagonist. We don't even know what his motives are.

O!ciels lie would have been exposed either way and you can't expect r! ciel to just ignore it and stay in the underground forever. That boy would want to live too and he is unaware of why o!ciel took his name (he stated that).

In the flashback he has shown to be quite compassionate with o!ciel such as how he cared for him while he was sick or how he is shown to try to drag o!ciel along when they tried to run from the cult when he could have just escaped on his own. So why would that suddenly disappear after he got brought back.

Undertaker has stated that r!ciel entirely thinks and acts on his own so the argument that undy is manipulating him is false. Not to mention undertaker even said that he doesn't care which phantomhive he is with since he cares about both (he said that in the flashback) so he obviously wouldn't want to harm o!ciel. I get why you guys are doubtful of this since he brought doll back but like I said we don't know their motives yet besides wanting to collect blood in order to make r!ciel function.

You guys often like to hate on him while treating o!ciel like a child that needs to be protected even though both have caused many deaths (I would argue more people died because of o!ciel than r!ciel since sebastian and the servants kill intruders pretty much on like a weekly basis).

And the argument that r!ciel might be unhappy because he was brought back to live by undertaker without being asked is so stupid. That boy died when he was 10?! He didn't even had a chance to experience life and grow older. He was robbed of that and just because he was brought back by undertaker without being asked doesn't have to mean that he wouldn't want to live now. He seems pretty happy actually, especially since he could see his brother again. And I mean how could he even have given permission in the first place, it's not like anyone knew he could bring back people so that is just stupid to assume.

Not to mention he is just as traumatized as o!ciel. Maybe even more because he actually died there.

Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to excuse r!ciels actions here, he still commited crimes that he should be held accountable for. But so did o!ciel and it's unfair that one is treated like a saint while the other like a devil even though they are both guilty.

As long as we don't know what he saw when he walked around during the attack and what his current plan is, you guys are just seriously overhating him (probably because of that rcmmt which is flawed anyways). And as long as we don't know all of that you also can't claim that he doesn't care about o!ciel because we literally don't know anything about him rn (the only things we know are from o!ciels flashback and that is just his view which was likely warped due to his inferiority complex that stems from his insecurities).

Ofc you can hate him simply because you do not like him but I'm merely addressing the people here that hate him for things o! ciel has done as well (and who still gets treated nicely)

Dadbastian is an awful trend.

I get where it comes from but I overall just hate it when the fandom likes to make someone into something they aren't. Sebastian is a demon, a demon who sees human lives as ants (it's stated in the character guide).

He doesn't care about the kurofam at all and we've seen in the green witch arc he would not hesitate to just eat o!ciels soul if there seems to be a problem that could hinder him from getting his soul (that 10% of not being serious is not enough guys, stop being delusional and think he actually cared there).

O!ciel obviously fears sebastian (also seen in the green witch arc where he put his act aside and was his real self briefly) and doesn't trust him (has stated that in the manga) so the fact that some of you consider sebastian to be a parent (or sometimes even sibling) figure for o!ciel creeps me out. Sebastian frequently trash talked the servants whenever they failed too (even if just in his head).

If anyone Agni could considered a parent figure by how he was with the servants in the chapter where soma moved into the townhouse uninvited. Or how he actually remimded sebastian that o!ciel was a sickly human that needs to be treated whenever he's ill because he would have just walked out the door with him if he wasn't there.

And don't come around with "oh but he did afterwards when he could have just ignored it so he bla bla bla", he only cares about making his life stock stay alive just like you you wouldn't want your food to rot, he didn't care about o!ciel as a person.

I can understand that it is a silly little joke but the problem is that I feel like most people actually are serious about this and people who haven't read the manga are quick to jump along with hc's the fandom has created and actually consider them canon (for example with how many anime onlys who know about the twin thing think that o!ciels name was confirmed to be astre because the name was mentioned so often in the fandom)

Grell is really overrated. Don't get me wrong, she's a good character with an good design and interesting personality but you guys make a bigger deal out of her than she actually is. Personally I can see why people might like her but you guys are too obsessed at this point. For example I have heard several anime onlys state they will not watch season 4 if grell is not in it or whenever someone mentions they don't like grell they get bombarded with hate since she is "a queen and and icon etc". I really appreciate that you guys like her but please also acknowledge her flaws such as the constant sexual comments she makes about sebastian because if the roles were reversed you guys would not let that pass. Personally I find her to be a bit overbearing sometimes since I think she's a bit too energetic and a bit annoying sometimes but I know if I even mentioned that I will get flooded with hate replies

To me it just looks like a cult that has started forming over the past few years

Kind of wish you would have quit this. Yes I think it was a fun idea but most fandoms are filled to the brim with idiots who only use blogs like this as an outlet to scream their hatful idolatry.

I have never seen a confession blog that isn’t immediately flooded with disgusting hate comments. To me this is just a place to give terrible people a voice.

This will be the last that I, admin e, will say about it. Admin w might say something, idk, he's asleep rn.

I don't usually like accounts like this either, but I do like hearing other people's opinions, no matter how shitty they may seem. Call me a devil's advocate, but I enjoy listening to the reasoning of others. Ofc there's a line, and I hold my morals firmly, but I like the idea of a space where one can say anything and either give their reasons or not. It's part of the reason I took on this role as admin for this account.

I've seen my fair share of bigotry and horrible people and their horrible opinions and I've also seen good people with good, genuine opinions be shooed away bc they didn't agree with the masses (one such person being myself). I want to give those good, genuine people an outlet to say what they want, even if it doesn't agree with what everyone else is saying. They might not always say it in the best of ways and there's no true excuse for being an ass about it, but I can understand where certain anger can form when you've kept something you think inside for so long bc the few people you've told it to have shunned, joked, or straight up told you you were wrong for it. I'm firm believer in explains not excuses as well, so that may play into it.

Another part of the reason I took on the role of an admin is because I've seen the nasty comments that can come about because of this style of content. The old opinions account had it, and considering how dear of a friend the admin is, I wanted to help them. I'm an adult, I've been told many things good and bad and am able to handle it. I also work in customer service so I've been told just as horrible things to my face lol. Sometimes you have to roll with the punches and if that means getting hate comments directed at a blog where I can delete them so my friend doesn't get hurt by it, so be it. And I know this is a "controversial" thing to say given the people who usually say it, but if you don't like this kind of content, I do not blame you for blocking the blog. We are just one blog that puts out content for black butler, and I can personally recommend many other good ones who, if you're in the fandom, you probably already have at least heard of.

I appreciate the genuineness, but as I said before, I won't be personally responding to anything about the hate that blogs like this can generate anymore. This probably wasn't what you were expecting, anon, but I just wanted to say it to make it clear to everyone.

I find some of y'alls obsession with knowing o!Ciel's name a bit annoying tbh. He stated that he was "Ciel" and that the name and title belong to him. He chose to be "Ciel" and will stick with it until the end. You wouldn't call a trans person by their deadname, so why would you do it to Ciel? Isn't that why we all decided he was "our Ciel" in the first place, because we agree that the name belong to him? So why want to have him any other?
