“To discover your real questions, simply take a time-out. Stop looking ahead of yourself at where you’re going or backward at where you’ve been. When you do stop, there’s a sense of going nowhere. There’s a sense of gap, which is a tremendous relief. You can simply breathe and be who you are.”

“We have to understand in order to be of help. We all have pain, but we tend to suppress it, because we don’t want it to come up to our living room. the most important thing is that we need to be understood. We need someone to be able to listen to us and to understand us, then we will suffer less, but everyone is suffering, and no one wants to listen. We don’t know how to express ourselves so that people can understand. Because we suffer so much, the way we express our pain hurts other people, and they don’t want to listen.”

The Pit is an incredible dive site in Tulum, Mexico. A fresh water sinkhole with unlimited visibility, a hydrogen sulfide layer (aka ‘the cloud’), and an 'island’ of debris (with it’s own tree which you can see in the picture). In the summer the light beams streaming through the entrance are simply breathtaking. Via Tom St George
