Beastos Plush Review

So this isn’t flight rising but I have a bigger reach here and wanted to promote the AMAZING plush I got from @the-shy-artisan !!!!!

This is Beastos! A “beast” form of Kratos from God of War cooked up and brought to life by Paige! They are doing a limited run of these guys and oh boy was I quick to snag one. He’s finally here and he does not disappoint!

First off the packaging was ADORABLE I almost felt bad removing the lil bows.

Beastos also comes with a certification of authenticity and some care tips!

Overall I am shocked at the quality, it truly feels like a professionally made plush. Plus, the front talons have beans in them to give them a nice weight. I was impressed by his size, he’s on par with Build-a-Bears!

The prototype has already been claimed by my sibling lol (they usually end up adopting most of my plushies in the end lmao).

God of War (2005) - Game Booklet

What really fucks me up about the God of War series is that if you've been playing the games since the beginning, you've gotten used to the frantic button mashing of the original games. You've ripped heads off. You've torn legs off. You've felt as if you were gouging someone's eyes out when you pressed down on the joysticks. Every rumble of the controller gave you this violent, satisfying feedback.

Then you get to the new games and the violence is still there, yes, but also tenderness. You get to hug your son. You get to pet wolves. you swipe your finger on the controller to help your late wife paint markers of protection on trees.

There's something truly special about feeling Kratos' character progression through your touch. Something unique to the medium of video games.
