Hope your skin is still looking beautiful.
If it’s not, here’s how to get rid of tiny bumps or textured skin. It looks like a chemical exfoliant is the answer.

Aside from drinking water and relaxing, the easiest way to do something good for your skin without wasting a lot of money is to use a sheet mask. Sheet masks are an excellent introduction to Korean beauty; they only cost a few dollars and take 20 minutes to achieve dewier, glowier skin.
Sheet masks, like most other beauty trends, originated in South Korea, which is known for its commitment to skincare and cosmetics innovation. The success of Korean skincare routine created an impact around the world including the middle eastern countries.
Korean Sheet masks must be highly durable, and they can be made of a variety of materials, including dense but flexible paper, cellulose, a variety of fabrics, microfibres, and even more environmentally friendly alternatives like coconut pulp and cotton wool. Sheet masks is one of the important factors in 10 steps Korean skincare routine followed by Koreans.
GLAM UP is a Korean brand that focuses on healthy skin by treasuring natural beauty and natural ingredients for healthy glowing skin. There are many different varieties of this mask including this one, aloe (soothing), tea tree (rejuvenating; review), lemon (brightening; review), oatmeal (clarifying; review), pomegranate (firming; review), avocado (moisturizing; review), acaiberry (nourishing; review), shea butter (nourishing; review), tomato (radiant; review), green tea (refreshing; review), peppermint (refreshing; review), japanese sake (revitalizing; review) and others. This mask is designed to soothe, moisturize and hydrate the skin. Key ingredients include aloe leaf extract (anti-aging, moisturizing, lightens blemishes and reduces acne, healing, reduces scarring), allantoin (softening, soothing, protecting, stimulates new cell growth), and panthenol (penetrates deeply into the skin, hydrating, helps to infuse water into the cells, moisturizing). This product retails for between $1-2 USD, you can get 10 pieces here for $10.45 + shipping (free on Prime).
This sheet mask contains 21 grams (0.74 oz) and is pretty much fragrance-free.
The sheet mask is a natural 3 layered pulp sheet and it’s hypoallergenic. It has the capability to hold more essence and has a great absorption rate. As the essence is absorbed, the sheet mask naturally uplifts off of the face. The eye, nose, and mouth holes felt rather small so I needed to widen them quite a bit.
Recommended use is to cleanse the skin first, steam skin using a steam towel to open pores to help absorption. You can cool the mask in the fridge for a more refreshing use. You can also massage pressure points while wearing the mask. It’s recommended to apply and leave on for 20-30 minutes and then remove, patting skin to allow the essence to fully absorb. After using, first I’d like to point out, this mask has almost no fragrance and has minimal ingredients. It’s very gentle and the mask is pretty comfortable and has a lot of essence. I did have to widen the eye holes for a more comfortable fit but otherwise no issues. The essence is very soothing and hydrating and it does a good job of plumping the skin and toning down any redness or irritation. I’d recommend this to people with dry, dehydrated skin as well as to people with sensitive skin.
What I like: this is a very gentle and soothing mask. It’s hydrating and tones down redness and irritation. It’s also plumping and ideal for sensitive skin types. The mask has a lot of essence and the mask itself is pretty comfortable and the ingredient list is nice and short and has no irritants. What I don’t like: nothing, it’s a good mask.
I'm actually kind of over sheetmasking in general and only do it for work purposes or if my skin is breaking out/needs a boost. I have to force myself to go through my stash lol.
So I wasn't expecting much except from the usual hydration from this mask but this actually surprised me with the level of glow afterwards which was pretty long lasting compared to most masks. It was great to use before going out!
i’m finally getting back into skincare and holy shit i forget how much of a difference actually using a cleanser and not just removing makeup can make. my breakouts are already shrinking and my skin looks so much better 😭
I was able to purchase this now, and I love! Surprisingly heavier coverage than I thought but still not enough to cover my acne. Easy to apply. Great for anyone that doesn’t like thick foundation.
Raving review from Robert Welsh himself. BEST cushion he’s ever seen? Wow! I want to try it out but it’s sold out in my color. They currently have 6 shades available including deeper tones.

Follow up to my Korean sunscreens post. The White Birch sunscreen has been popular in Korea lately and it’s sold on Olive Young Global. It’s nice but I haven’t tried it long enough.
I’ve been seriously impressed by a lot of Hyggee products lately because they’re elegantly formulated and most importantly: no added fragrance!! (Their Chamomile Relief gel cream is 💯)
They also have 2 sunscreens - a hybrid and a chemical (and vegan) sunscreen. Both are so good. I think the chemical/vegan one works really nicely for reapplication throughout the day since it’s slightly thinner and less cream-like than their hybrid.
