My Light

Hyunjin woke up with the soft, warm rays of the morning sun gently kissing his face. He turned to his side and saw Y/N sleeping peacefully, her delicate features bathed in the morning light. He couldn't help but smile, overwhelmed by a wave of love for the woman beside him.

Hyunjin reached out to lightly brush a strand of hair away from her face, tucking it behind her ear. The affection in his gaze grew more intense as he took in every detail of her face. His heart swelled with gratitude that she was his, that he got to wake up to her every morning.

He couldn't resist the urge to lean in and press a soft, lingering kiss to her forehead. "You are my light," he whispered, even though he knew she couldn't hear him.

He continued to watch her, his heart filled with a deep sense of contentment. The world outside might be chaotic, but in this moment, with Y/N beside him, everything was right. Hyunjin knew he was the luckiest person alive to have her in his life.

He couldn't wait for her to wake, to see her eyes light up with that beautiful smile when she saw him. But for now, he was content to bask in the quiet and the love that enveloped them. The morning had never felt more perfect.

It’s been a year

Making this decision and writing this at 3 am, please forgive any spelling/grammar errors. It’s been about a year since I last posted and so, SO much has happened since then. People I loved turned out to be fake. I’ve tried over and over again these past few months to get answers but at the end of the day, I have to just remember that I’m allowed to feel okay and move on with my life. I’ve cut out multiple toxic people and I have multiple new friend groups. My road to recovery starts now.

That being said, I was unsure about coming back to this blog. I met so many amazing people here but...I’m still not fully back to myself yet. I want to trust people. I do. I’m determined to trust people again, but I’m not there yet. The only thing more exhausting than building up mental walls is jumping over mental hurdles and that’s not something I’m ready for. SO, for at least now, I’d like to keep my blog 100% writing. I’m not ready to answer messages through either DMs or in my inbox, but if you send any of support I’ll read them anyway just to cheer myself up. Please know I appreciate and love every single one of you.

I haven't dipped below 6,000 followers so...you all clearly expect great things from me and I’m going to live up to that.
