Miguel’s Pov

Rush to the Medbay as soon as Jess and Dr. Andrea told me Shade was in there. Jess told me that Hobie and Gwen were attacked by a Carnage variant. I did not get any alerts from that area and I know that Earth doesn’t have its own Carnage. Something doesn’t sit right with the situation. But for now, I see what is going on with Shade. Also wondering why the Shock would Hobie and Gwen would be there. 

Dr. Andrea had a backet with Carnage specimen in it. “I’m going on break there all yours,” she said as she left. I turn back to them. 

“Hi, Mig-” Gwen started to say but I cut her off Not wanting to hear her and Hobie's excuses. 

“Why were you two on Earth 2424? When you were not allowed to leave your Earth without my permission, nor were ever meant to step foot on that Earth. It banned remember?”

“We just got a call from our mate Zee. want to talk more.” Hobie said without his usual non-chant grin, which I hate but it felt more forced. He only does it if this is really serious. I gave him my usual grim look, then I looked over to Shade, who looked paler than usual. From the content from the bucket, Dr. Andrea was carrying out that must be a piece of Carnage. The fact that she was able to break off pieces and not get influenced by it must mean her symbiote is not Venom. Venom would have been overpowered by it. That one variant idea crosses my mind. 

I walked over to her, she didn’t even look up at me. Have a look at something that was on her mind. 

“There…there were a lot of dead bodies the time we got there,” Gwen said as took off her mask with tears in her eyes. Hobie wraps her arms around her also taking off his mask. I sign knowing both Gwen and Hobie never really seen what Carnage can really do, I’m glad they didn’t face him. 

“That monster did it.”

We look at Shade who wraps her knees to her chest while her Symbiote can out her body and sits next to her like a rabbit would. It was shaking while Shade petting her.

“What was he?!” I feel her frustration in her voice and at the same time I can feel her fear. Her symbiote was shaking from fear something that rarely is seen from Symbiotes, they must have gotten bang up from him pretty badly.

“That is Symbiote,” I said 

“And you say I’m like that?!” Shade said with tears in her eyes

“I heard what he was thinking. Feel what he wants to do…I-I” 

“You nothing like Carnage,” I said. Shade looked at me with confessed look. 

“Look, do know for certain that your Alchemax didn't create another one like you?”

 She gave off a shallow laugh then grabbed her symbiote and placed her on her shoulder.

“If they did, they would have an army by now. I’m still the only monster freak they still have running around.” She then coughs up her watch, wondering why she has a watch inside her body. At least she not glitching. “I tried to reach you, to tell you that Zee told me that they have someone working with them. Someone who is not from my earth.”

“Yeah, we saw that red bastard also had a watch like you guys. And said that his old man was calling him back.” 

I took note of what the symbiote had said. So it is true that 2424-six is getting help from someone from not from that Earth. Now we need to figure out who and which earth. Lyla pops up next to me. With her usual smirk.

“We can use that Carnage sample to see which Earth he is from.” 

I nodded that would make things easier. I look back at Shade who grabs her head but tries to walk out.

“Where do you think you going?”

She just glared “I’m heading to the weird spider room so you send me back home. I’ll be-ah!” Shade then feels her knee to the floor. I look at Lyla to scan her. Lyal scan Shade and as I expected, there was still some of Carnage in her body. Shade and her symbiote are probably fighting it off as best she can. Even Andrea’s anti-Carnage’s vaccine isn’t working. I kneel down to pick up Shade too much to her surprise.

“Hey put me down!”

“You're not going anywhere, not till we get the rest of Carnage out of your system.”

“I’m fine, I need to find that Asshole who killed all those people and-”

“You no condition to leave. Not when have a ticking time bomb in you.”

I placed her back but she started to growled. And have her arm folded like a stubborn child. I turn to Hobie and Gwen who were about the sneak off. 

“And where do think you two going? You still haven’t answered why you went 2424 or more like how. Hobie do still have more watches I should know about?” I glared at Hobie who didn’t look like in the mood to fight with me, I would not blame him since those three saw a lot of death. I sigh

“I let you two off the hook this time. But please don’t go 2424 not with the situation going on. It's dangerous.” 

Both Hobie and Gwen just nodded as they headed to their Earths. I turned my attention to Shade who had tears in her eyes. I hear her talking to herself and cursing herself

“I let those people down… I can’t do anything right… It's like before…”

I can practically feel her frustration. Being a hero and seeing people around that you couldn’t help. I know that feeling so well. I was going to ask if she was ok till my watch beeped to remind me to take my shot. I sign as I head back to the lab to get it. 

“I will be back,” I said trying to quickly get my shot

Shade’s POV

What am I going to do? My Earth is being threatened by the stupid six’s, there is an unknown force that helping them, and now there is a monster on the loose who has killed my people! What makes matters worse I felt all the things he felt. I can read its mind kind of, hearing all the terribly thing he wants to do to me and-

“Shade snap out of it!”

I forgot Kuro here and she can feel how feel and that in turn, I feel how she feels. Be one and the same. Kuro was not happy that Carnage trying to take us over. Kuro fought back the best she could. If I didn’t cut him off as soon as I did I don’t know what would of happen. I don’t want to think about it. 

“You ok?” I asked her but I already knew the answer, but it does make us both better if we ask

“I’m Fine. that stupid weakling was no match for me! I‘m hungry let go get some food.”

“I think it a bad Idea. we still have bits of that Carnage thing in me and we don’t know where the cafe is.” I pointed out to Kuro. we have only been here once and this place seems huge. Kuro just smirked at me.

“I can just sniff it out, duh. You forget, were they food? I'll find it.”

I gave a weak chuckle, I guess some food can help. Besides I’m really hungry more hungry than usual probably because of the Carnage in my body making my body more weird than it already was. I decided to look for a cafe. First, make sure that Doctor Spider or Miguel isn’t at the door. I’ll get some food then I’ll come back no big deal.

How in the Great One I get lost?!

“Kuro, I thought you said it was this way?!” 

“I thought it was the right way but my smell is a bit messed up right now.”

I groan, I’m going to be in so much trouble. Miguel going to think I ran away and probably try to hunt me down. He would try to hunt me down like some wanted person right? As was thinking I should try to retrace my steps till I bumped into someone, knocking them down. 

“Oh, I’m sorry I-” I started to see who it was... “Miles? What are you doing here?”

Miles’s POV

Oh, shoot! Why Shade here? I Snuck back to HQ to get some cake. They are very good cakes. I was trying to avoid Miguel since I’m like ‘grounded’ I didn’t think I would bump into Shade. She don’t look good from the last time I saw her. She looks pale. She was helping me up.

“Sorry I bump into you.” she apologized. 

“It's cool, I was busy sneaking around. Which it a piece of cake for me.” I said as I pointed at the cakes I took from the cafe. She gave me a small smile, I then looked at her arms there was red like vain coming from her very black arms. I never noticed that her arms were completely black. 

“You ok? Your arm is…” I pointed to Shade’s arm my spider-sense was going off from how the threat was in her. Her symbiote chimes in not having it’s grin it usually have. 

“ the red bastard did this to Shade.”

“Red bastard?” I asked trying to figure out which villain It was talking about

“Carnage. That is what Miguel said his name was. He came to my Earth attacked me and killed all the people who were in around me. I-I couldn’t stop him.” Shade looks down with a frustrated look on her face. She had her hands in a fist. I know she is older than me but she probably having a hard time dealing with this. I grabbed her hand which surprised her.

“Hey. do want to grab more cake? These look not as great.” showing the two cakes that were messed up from the fall. Shade nodded as she wanted me to lead the way back to the cafeteria to grab more food. Well, more like a crap ton, I forget this women eat alot. We chilled in the lobby, it was night on Miguel Earth. It is also night on my Earth. The good news is it is a weekend so I don’t have to worry about school tomorrow. 

“Don’t you have school tomorrow?” Shade asked with food in her mouth. I shook my head

“No, it's a weekend I don’t have school till Monday.”

“Ah, I’m glad you still going to school.”

I took a bite of the cake while Shade was like her 5th one. Man, she really a fast eater. 

“Didn't you go to school or were you forced to drop out?” I asked knowing a few spiders were dropping out. Hobie dropped out since his school kept teaching capitalism and Noir couldn’t really go to school because of his ‘Great Depression’. 

“My school was bombed when I just entered high school,” she said nonchalantly. I nearly choked on my piece of cake.  “You ok?” she asked seeing me choking 

“Y-yea it's just that your school was bombed?!” 

“Yea, on my first day to and when my power was awoken too.” Shade said as she looked at her hand, unsheathing her claws, then changed back to normal. Never noticed till now that her arms are completely black I thought it was part of her costume or something.  

“I try my best to control my powers, Kuro and… My friend helps out but… Miguel is right. One wrong move. One wrong thought. And I lose it and it hard for me to come out of it.”

“Well…maybe we can help you?” I said or more like I offer. 

“I’m not like you guys. I’m not arachnid person.”

“First, of all were Spider-men, Spider-women, or Spider-person. None of that arachnid crap. Were nothing like your Spider-women. We actually help people. second, of all, anyone can wear the mask.” 

Shade gave me a questionable look of confusion even her symbioate look at me weird too. I have been Spider-Man for almost three years now and after the Spot incident, anyone can wear the mask and provide they can be a Spider-Man.

“It's just a leap of faith you have to take, that's what my mentor taught me. Anyway, I have to get back to my Earth before my parent freaks out. I promise not to sneak into HQ too much.” I got up and was about to head to the portal before Shade stopped me.

“You might want to check on your friends Hobie and Gwen they had a rough day. They can us someone like you.” She said with a smile as she waved me goodbye. Once I got into my room I had some calls to make.

Miguel’s POV

‘Where the Shock did she go?!’

I thought trying to find Shade where she went. I had to take my medicine real quick and then get her room ready since she be here for a while. I would have sent someone to Shade’s Earth just to keep watch, Maybe I’ll send Ben.

I walked down the hallway when I saw Miles and Shade talking to each other. There were only them in the lobby so I could hear them more clearly with my advanced hearing. I noted what talking about school and the lack of control Shade has over her powers. She did Have another person who helped her but with the sound of her tone, something happens to them. I then saw Miles left, I let it slide that he was here, and from what I’m getting Shade seemed in a slightly better mood. Miles can do that to a person.

Shade got up and headed my way till I stopped her. She was surprised but not too much.

“I’m sorry I left the room. I got really Hungry and I need some space.” 

I sigh “It's fine I can tell your mental state is better. Follow me.” I lead her to my lab so she can stay till the rest of Carnage's essence leaves her system. 

“Uh, Why are we here? Should we be in medbay room big meanie spider?” her symbiote said which I rolled my eyes

“This be better since there only be one way out if something happens to you.”

“You mean if I lose control.” She pointed out. I tried to settle about but clearly, I failed on that. “It's ok. I understand. It better be safe than sorry.” 

I unlock the room that is in the lab, my room I barely used it when I first started Spider society. Now I just overwork myself and only use the room when Peter and them force me to sleep or when my medicine is short and I have to lock myself in. There is a bed and a small desk. There was some leftover webbing and claw marks from the last time I was here, Shade gave me a questionable look, Probably wondering where the claw marks came from. 

“I’ll check on you in a few hours to see how you are. Lyla will also keep track of your Vial sign. And if Carnage starts to react to you negatively the room will lock down so you won’t get out. Understand.”I said, Shade nodded as she lay on the bed. Her symbiote lay next to her. I close the door as I leave her, she needs some rest.

“Aw you care for her,” Lyla said as she popped next to me with a smirk. I just roll my eyes as I head to the platform, Andrea won’t get the result till tomorrow, so we are in the dark till then. I’m more worried about who is behind this and what they planning. This is something bigger, I can feel it. Before I thought thinking the worst-case scenario till I got a message from Peter.

Shade’s Pov

I got a message this morning from Zee. I would say it is rare for them to call me but I will be lying as blocked them years ago. But they always figure out how to get my number. I Just Sighed and headed to the location where they wanted to meet, it was on top place where I used to hang out with my boyfriend, Patrick. But that was years ago. 

Seeing Zee just sitting while the sun is setting as they try to make it romantic or something, the sun bounces their glasses. I can see a hit of their pinkish eyes that glow if they don’t wear their glasses. Some things never change with them. As I jumped on the rooftop hopefully no one saw me.

“Well, Well, Well. I’m surprised you came.” Zee said not turning to me trying to be all cool. I rolled my eyes while Kuro was smirking inside of me. 

“You kept blowing up my phone and I was trying to sleep.”

“More like you were stuck on a level again.” 

Ignored Kuro, wanting to get this meeting over with. Zee turns to me with their glasses off. They look tired like they haven’t slept well for a while. They try to come in for a hug. I Duck out of the way as they trip to catch themselves. They stand back up and still try to act suave. 

*cough* “I won’t keep you long. I just wanted to talk.”

“I’m leaving,” I said ready to leave the last time we talked it didn’t go as well. Zee was lucky I didn’t send them to the hospital. I was about to jump till Zee grabbed my shoulder. 

“Wait venom! I just want to give you information about the collider.” 

I pushed Zee’s hand off my shoulder “I already know. Miguel came to me the other day to tell me the those spider bots he and his ‘kids’ send out were destroyed and I think I know who got to them.” 

“Wait, those robot things were destroyed?!”

I gave them a confessed look “Yeah?”

“I call to talk about more intel I've gotten.”  Zee then shows me a weird device. I had never seen anything like it. Kind of reminds me of Miguel’s world.  

“What one of my intel telling me that the Six is getting some help from someone. Someone not from this world like those Spider-aliens guys. and apparently one of them will be here soon to pick up some compound R. We can’t have that.” Zee said 

This is bad. If there getting help someone from not here, then it going to be a pain to deal with. And if there going to use compound R then. It makes things ten times worse. 

“We should call those Spider-guys about this huh?”

“We? More like I call them and you just make sure that you don’t get your intel captured. Am I right?” I said arms folded knowing Zee on how they work. Tell me there is a big threat, act like they going to help but it is me doing most of the work. How many did they use to get where they are? I didn’t want to deal with them as much more than I had to. 

“Look, I’ll take care of this. I just want things to go back to normal. Or as normal as It going to get. Just stay out of my way.” I said as I headed off. I could tell Zee wanted to say more to me but I don’t want to hear it. As I head off to a location I can try to get in touch with one of the Spiders. I spit up the watch Miguel gave me, I still don’t know how it works.

“ Maybe if he wasn’t a big mean dumb spider he would tell us how it works before leaving like some stupid cool guy.”

“I agree but we can figure it out.” 

I hit a button in the hope that did something. It must of because the next thing I knew the beeping noise was coming from it. 

“I guess we wait to se-”

*Boom*

I turn to see an explosion coming from a block away as I hear people running away from the explosion from a lab center that was owned by Alchemax. It is for kids to learn about science. It late so hopeful there weren’t any kids there. I went down there to take a look. I got there where people were injured. The time got down there I could tell these people weren’t alive.

“Merda, I wonder if there is anyone inside?” I thought till a piercing pain hit my head. It's like something is here. Something that shouldn’t be here and I hate it. It makes my stomach turn.

“Well, Well, Well. I was wondering when you show up. I have gotten so bored I had to find some way to entertain myself.” 

I turn around to see a slime-red figure. It had giant claws and toothy smile that wasn’t warming. This slime creature is making my blood boil. Without telling Kuro my claws were out and my eyes went red, not taking my eyes off this creature.

“What the void are you? And did you do this?” I said with a hiss. It just laughed at me and showed me a body that he must have killed. He then showed me absorbing the body of its blood making the body more wrinkly and draining from blood. 

“That feels so much better I was getting famish! I didn’t know you were here, I wanted to see the freak of symbiotes. Didn’t think she is a cutie like you.” 

Without thinking I rushed toward him slashing him but he blocked me with his own blade arms. He grabbed my leg and left me up then slam me down to the ground. He was so fast that I didn’t have time to dodge. I groan, trying to get up before one of his tendrils grabs me again.

“Come on girly, let's play! I haven’t met someone like you before. Is this from compound R stuff you guys have here?”

My eyes widen realizing this guy is not from here. He is an anomaly. That makes sense but why is he doing this and how does he know about compound R?

‘Shade! Focus !’

Kuro yelled to me as webbing shot out of this monster, I grabbed a car, lucky no one was in it, and used it as a shield from the attack. 

“HAHA!! I didn’t induce myself! My name is Carnage. It fit me doesn’t it?!” he said as more tendrils shot out of him and towards me. I shot my own tendril at him as we both clashed with them. His was stronger than mine but I was faster. Enough to slice them as fast as I can. Carnage kept grinning at me which was starting to get my nerves.

‘I want blood…nothing but chaos !!!’

‘What ’

‘Want to kill… want blood…want… CARNAGE!!!’

What the void was that?! This voice in my head is not me or Kuro. Does it sound like it coming from him?!

“Oh ho! Trying to get my number or something? Let me me help!”  Carnage then quickly rushes me before I can summon my blade he pins me into the wall. His weird liquid ooze went in my arms and legs. It felt like burning ice was in my arms. I screamed as the pain was too much.

“You're a screamer. I knew It. It's a pretty little scream. Let's have the whole city hear it!!” 

As he spread deeper into my limbs. I want it to stop I want the pain to stop. 

Please stop. Please stop. PLEASE STOP!!

Before it started to get worse I cut off his arm with my tongue at high speed, He roared in pain, but I took this opportunity to grab his head and smash into a wall. Carnage got up with a dazed but I didn’t give him time to recover and I kicked him relently. What he did to me, It like he woke something that I had been trying to lock up inside of me. 

‘KILL HIM. MAKE HIM PAY!!’

I heard the voice, it didn’t sound like Kuro. but it didn’t need to tell me twice as I was about to cut off his head till he launched himself high to the roof of the building. his arm grew back like nothing had happened to it. He laughed at me with his sickly grin, that was pissing me off. Before he could do anything he stops grin then looked down at his watch with a piss-off look. 

“Aaawww! Oh, man. My old man always has to kill the fun, I got what I came for. See you around girly.” Carnage pulls out what seems to look like a watch similar to the one Miguel and them have, as a portal opens up behind him. I tried to get up and chased after him till the pain from my arms and legs hit me. I looked down as the red ooze was still in me, burning me.

“I see you around,” he said as he went through the portal.

Hobie’s POV

“I think we should go, Hobie.” Gwendly said. We snuck into earth-2424 after we left Miles, mainly because I got a message from Zee. saying a spy from them gave them info about an outer source that had been helping the Viliant 6 and their collider. The cunts really trying to get this done, ey? Now I heard from Peter B. that it now pulling things in and that is not a good thing.  If the boss man just gets off his stupid ass and comes here to take care of it. We wouldn’t have come here.

I don’t know the real reason why he banned this Earth. So what, if the earth spider-women is a complete cunt. There is a hero that can take her place and she-

‘Boom’

Me and Gwen he an explosion not far away from us. We quickly swing toward the chaos, and as we see dead bodies around us much are shocked. I can hear Gwen saying ‘Oh my god’ I wish we had come sooner as we scooped the area, we saw Shade. I grabbed her arm. I can hear her curse herself. As I got close to her I saw a red ooze that seemed to be spread to her arm and legs. My spider senses were going off knowing what it was. I fought that son of bitch enough times to know this was Carnage's work.

“Hey, you ok?” Gwen asked Shade. Shade looked up her eyes were red but I could tell she was in pain.

“That Vucker!” she hissed as her tendrils were coming out of her body whipping around her. Gwen got away so she wouldn’t be struck. Shade looked up at us surprised, I guessed not realizing we were there.

“How? When?” she said trying to get up but judging from how bad her legs looked it seemed she not going to get up for a while.

“Hey. Hey, Easy Shade. We're here to help.” I said trying to help her up. Gwen got on Shade’s other side to help balance her up. Some of the red ooze, I’m guessing, is affecting her legs too.

“Is your legs hurting too?” Gwen asked. Shade nodded with a hiss. I could try to remove with sound but that might hurt her too. 

“Come on. Were taking her back to HQ” 

“What?!” both Gwen and Shade said

“No. No, I can’t leave. There people that-” Shade stops as she sees all the bodies around us. Gwen looks away. She had never seen this must death before and the last time I saw this must was during the war I had with my Fisk and his army. 

“I hate to break it to you but. There is nothing we can do for them. the red cunt drain them of their blood.” I said as I opened the portal to HQ. As I did my spider sense was going off. Just like the time we were at the lab. 

“Ok let go!” Shade said as she pushed us into the portal the she probably had an idea who or what was heading our way. I’ll ask her about what was that later.  We got into HQ and saw Jess who was in front of us, having a surprised look on her face.

“Hobie! Gwen! What are you two doing here? And-”  She stopped herself when saw Shade and her injuries. 

“What happened?” 

“Carnage. That's what happened.” I stated as I pointed to ooze the spreading on her legs and arms.”

“A Carnage?! There shouldn’t be a Carnage on that Earth nor there wasn’t any signal of varent on that Earth.” Jess walked over to us and examined Shade who was groaning from pain.

“I guess as good as yours.” 

“Take her to Medbay hopefully they can do anything.” 

We nodded as we headed to Medbay. Shade wasn’t doing so well as she cursed and growled some more. The spider-doc was here, having a smoke with a look of ‘Oh great what now’

“Oh great, what now?” 

“She needs help, doc.”

The Spider-Doc looked at Shade with not an amused look on her face. Something we see a bunch of times. I can tell she is sick of the shit she sees every day. 

“Put her on a table. Let me see what I can do.” 

Me and Gwen helped Shade on the table who wasn’t looking so hot now. Worse that she started breathing weirdly. The Spider doc took her time setting up. Putting some plug on Shade, Gwen, and I wondered what she doing since we aren’t the most medical train on this. 

“Should you be hurrying up?” Gwen asked, Spider rolled her eyes under her mask

“Should you be leaving me be?”

“We would but we need to ask Shade a question after she is done. Carnage he…

“A piece is inside her, I know I've seen this before but it is a small piece, and since she a symbiote herself she should be fighting it off like infection.” She then pulls out a red veil with something inside of it. She the injected inside of Shade and Shade’s eyes opened wide from that and she sat up straight “ I just giving her a boost.” 

We walk over to her to see if she is alright, she still looks kind of pale

“Hey, Shady. How are you feeling?” I asked. Shade looked at me then put her hand on her mouth as her cheek bulged. She signals us to give her something quickly so she can throw up. Gwen grabbed a basket near her and then gave it to Shade. We whisked as we heard her throwing up. 

“Better out than in.” Gwen joked trying to lighten the mood. Shade just groaned as she was done. 

“I’ll take that.” Spider doctor grabbed the basket from Shade as red tendrils were coming out from it. All three of our eyes widen from this but Spider Doc just throws a something basket as if this is another day for her. The content froze instantly, I’m guessing she threw a nitroglycerin bomb to freeze the thing. 

“She should be fine, if throws up again there is another basket in the cabinet. I’m going back on break. Oh boss be here in 3…2…1…”  the doc said as the boss man opened the door.

Peter B.'s Pov

That could on gone well. As I carry the Hobgoblin to his cage waiting for him to be set back home. Mayday giggle which I was happy I guess Shade must activate her spidey sense which is still a work in progress. I was going to head to Miles’s Earth since Miguel ground him and his group of friends till I got a Message from my watch from Lyla.

“Hey Peter B. Miguel needs to come to meet to talk about the collider situation. Be there in 10.” Lyla said as disappeared 

I sigh and message Miles that I’m going to be late. I guess I talked to the big man to see what going on. Mayday stuck on her tongue, not like daddy going to the meeting. I know Mayda, Daddy hates meeting too.

I reached the meeting room to see Jess, Ben, and Petra were already there. Jess Finally back from giving birth to her child and took leave. I help out her on Earth so she can at least spend time with her kid. Ben and Petra talking to each other about their dark past, how life is so cruel, and how Ben’s job is making a new Latte flavor. I sat down next Jess who had a smirk.

“So, how is Earth 2424? Tried the bread?” she joked, and I chuckled. I heard that Earth has the best bread. 

“No, but I did meet the symbiote variant that Lyla was talking about. Too bad I caught her in a bad time. Hobgoblin soundblasted her and she wasn’t in the great set of mind.”

“Eh, Symbiotes are a trick type to deal with. But at least she is one of the better ones.”

I was about to say something till a portal opened up in the room and we saw Miguel walk out from it. He dissolves his mask and look at us with his usually grumpy face. It would kill him to smile once in while?

“Sorry that I was late had chack on something on Earth 2424.”

“Have you eliminated the threat?” Petra said causing a sigh with Me, Jess, and Miguel. 

“No Petra. we don’t eliminate remember?” Jess said

“Anyway, the collider on Earth 2424 is still active and is now drawing things and people into it. And thank Peter for not telling me…” Miguel glared and me. I shrugged with a nervous smile while Mayday was giggling, probably knowing how much trouble I was in. 

“All the spider bots were destroyed. whatever destroyed them is strong and manages to get all five of them.” Miguel then pulls up some screens to show some videos and pictures of the collider and the Alchemax’s lab that the spider-bot was able to stagger. Lyla also came up too.

“What I was able to gather from spider-bots. Is that near the final phase for their collider before being complete? Unlike the one from  1610- Earth’s collider that wasn’t fully complete which in turn would have created a black hole that completely wiped that earth and all other earth near it. 2424 not only more complete but it seems it has some technology that not from that earth”

“What?! How were they able to get their hands on it.” I asked

Lyla then showed some of the tech. It is clearly more advanced than what is on that earth. 

“It reminds me of tech on my Earth,” Petra said to study it like the rest of us.

“With that, they are getting help from someone not from that Earth but the matter is now is who is giving them this tech and why?” Miguel said. As pull the screen away from us.

“We should go in and destroy. So their technology won’t be too advanced to start their own Robo war.” Petra said I can hear Miguel groan and say something in Spanish.

“ No Petra, were not going in, we still don’t know what the cannon events on that earth since the spider-women on that earth aren’t most cooperative. Lyla, how long do you guess when they are finished with the collider?”

“On the rate they going maybe in two days.”

“Maybe we should inform that Venomgirl?” I said as everyone looked at me 

“I mean she seems to be more to our side and she does hero work so…”

“No.” Miguel shut me down 

“ I agree with Miguel. She clearly can’t control herself and even though she does some good she has done some bad too.” Jess said with a stern look. I guess they want to make no get to careless with help. We had done some work with heroes that weren’t Spider-People most of the time they help other times they can be the problem.

“I’m going to create a spider bit with the kill code to be able to destroy collider. This one will be more durable. Ben. Petra. I’m going to send you both to check on the surrounding Earth to see they aren’t affected by this.” 

Both Ben and Petra nodded they got up and made two portals. “We’ll make sure that worlds don’t fall into darkness.” 

Miguel then looked at Jess “Tell everyone to be prepared for a Spot-level threat and be ready if need be.” 

Jess then got up and headed to door. About to head door “ will do.”

Just leave Miguel and Me. Also Mayday of course. I got up with Mayday still in the carrier she getting bigger. I wanted to ask how the Shade was doing. 

“So how was Venomgirl? I hope I didn’t make things worse.” I asked Miguel sigh 

“She ok. She wants to apologize for trying to hurt you and Mayday.”

“I see.” we awkwardly stand there. More like me awkwardly standing there and Miguel kept looking at the screen, seeing all the data from Earth 2424. Even though we sharing more of the workload for Miguel. He still insists on taking most of the work. That is how he got overworked first place. He still feels a tremendous amount of guilt on what happened to Gabriella and Earth 928B. I know he talked about it, but I wish he had talked to us more about it. I look at the screen and see Venomgirl or Shade fighting Hobgoblin during the fight she seems to have the upper hand till he soundblasted her. I mean for a woman who has been fighting for years and on her own she is pretty good. But what holding her back is her power and the lack of control.

“Maybe we can recruit her?” I said out loud. Both Miguel and Lyla stop looking screen and look back at me with crazy looks. Mostly from Miguel. 

“And why would I do that?” 

“Well, Me and Jess were thinking…” Miguel looked at me with arm folded, with eyebrows raised. “Ok! Me! I was the one thinking you should train people. It helps you get out of the office. You either here or on a mission!”

Miguel rubbed the bridge of his nose and let out a huff

“Look. Peter, I know you, Jess, hell even Miles wants me to join you all but I can’t there is still a multiverse that still needs us, and if I let up for just a moment I-” Miguel stops himself as a beeping noise goes off. Guessing tell him it's time to take his medicine. He went over to the desk to grab the injector gun and I covered Mayday’s eye not wanting her to see it. I can see took a deep breath, probably from the injection doing work.

“Let me get back to work,” Miguel said as he pulled up the screen again. Lyla looked at me with a ‘sorry’ look but I sighed as I made a portal to Miles’s earth. Give Miguel one last look before leaving.

Miles’s pov

“Man where is he?!” out loud waiting for Peter to come. He promised he help me with my physics project. My grade in that class isn’t doing so hot, it doesn’t help I have been missing classes. My parent was kind of understanding since I told them I was Spider-man but still wanted me to get good grades. 

“He’ll come don’t worry,” Pav said. him, Gwen, and Hobie were chilling in my room. My parents are at work so we don’t have to worry about my parent seeing them. Gwen and Pav were doing their homework while Hobie was playing with his guitar since he didn’t have school. 

“Yeah, well he promised. I already miss like six classes and if I get one grade below an A, my parents are going to kill me!”

“They would understand. Your Spider-man remember?” Gwen said with a smirk. I playfully rolled my eyes at her. After the Spot incident, I told my parent I was Spider-man it was not like I had a choice since my mask was torn from battle. They accepted that I was a hero but it was no excuse for missing school. The irony. 

“Well, that not going to save me from failing!”

“That's why you call me.” 

We turn toward the window seeing Peter and Mayday hang upside down. I walk over to the window to open wide for him to get in. 

“What took you so long?

Peter sighed as he gave Mayday Gwen as she wanted to be held by her and grabbed a chair to sit next to me

“Well, Miguel chewed me out because I didn’t tell him about the spider bots being destroyed in Earth 2424. I just found out when I looked at the feed too.” 

I gave him a raised eyebrow. I thought the Spiderbots were durable and well-hidden when they were sent out. 

“I met that Venomgirl you guys were talking about. Well, kind of.”

“Oh, you met Shade?” Pav said as he was playing with Mayday too

“She something. Uh, I kind of spooked her though and she must have gotten hurt since she latched out at me.” 

“Heh, Rookie mistake old man. I thought you're an expert on symbiotes” Hobie joked

“Hey! I’m not that old! I was just a bit rusty that all.” Peter sticks his tongue out at Hobie. Hobie did the same. 

“Also aren’t all of you grounded by Miguel? Not allowed to visit each other Earths?” 

We just roll our eyes, that not going to stop us. Since Hobie made more watches for us just in case something like this happened. Were not going to see each other just because Miguel said so. He is not our dad. 

“We should take a visit to Earth- 2424.” Hobie said 

“Yeah they might be something we can help with,” Prav said

“As much want to also go. We still don’t know what was that triggered are spider senses.” I pointed it out. It still bugs me what was that? The last time my spider sense caused me the pain was the Spot who was going to destroy everything and everyone. Whatever it is or who it was it is something we should avoid. 

“None of you guys going to Earth 2424. Remember what Miguel said. That Earth is banned. The only reason we're dealing with it is because there's a collider and whoever tries to mess with Spider-Verse.” Peter said as we all gave him a look of ‘really’. He knows us. He knows we don’t stop at nothing till we get to the bottom of it. Peter sighed, knowing he sucks being an adult sometimes.

“Come on guy! I’m trying to set an example for my kid.”

“And you doing an ok job.” Gwen jokes as she and Hobie get up Gwen then opens a portal with one of Hobie’s watches 

“Well, I have to head back to my Earth, to get my drumsticks.”

“Me too Mates. I have run a runaway show to play tomorrow and Gwen going to play with me. My drummer is sick.” Hobbies said as they headed to the portal. Something tells me they have other ideas about earth2424. I really want to help but I also want to pass my classes too.

 Third person pov

Back on Earth-2424 Alchemax labs, Arachnidqueen was livid. Battleready was fighting her nemesis and not only that it caused her to lose a lot of views since she wasn’t the one who fought Venomgirl. It is bad enough she has to go get him but Venomgirl ran off with the anomaly that she was supposed to bring back to Alchemax. Her boss is going to kill her.

Arachnidqueen walked past Dr. Rose's lab seeing his true ‘lab experiments’. A horrible mutant that was turn being injected with Compound R. Alchemax was still trying to figure out a way to give people superpower without being required to be born with them. But so far they only turn into monsters and there is only one that was close but was killed years ago by Venomgirl. Also, new Public Eyes robots were being made. Arachnidqueen saw a robot unit they were still working on that has the number: KT-2442.

What does that mean? She thought as she headed to the meeting room

She finally reached her leader's office and opened the door. The leader was in a dark room with her glowing eyes. She could see two hollow projections that her boss talking to. One was the man the other was a woman that she couldn’t make out.

“I see the collider working well.” the woman in the projection said 

“Well of course with my technology from my Earth and your experience it wouldn’t been too hard.” the man said 

“Yes, it has been working. I will do my end of the deal. I give you some Compond R. as payment. I can finally go looking for the material that once and for all I can complete it.” Her boss said with her hands clapped together in the shadow of her room only to see her glowing inhuman pink eyes. “We will continue with collider work you can get someone to pick it up.” 

“We will.” then the two holograms disappear leaving only Arachindqueen with her boss. As she walked closer to her she felt something wrap around her neck knowing it was her boss's power. It’s never off, always high alert. He boss looks at her with her glowing eyes, Arachnidqueen can tell her boss is not happy.

“I see you saved Battleready. But where does the anomaly go? The one I sent you retrieved?” her boss said with an emotionless tone. Something Arachnidqueen was used to

“I tried to get them but, those Spider-man came out of nowhere and caught them. Also, I was outnumbered.”

“I see. They warn me about those Spider-men. Having the same power as you but getting it from different means.” The boss saw a video of Venomgirl fighting the hobgoblin and was losing but not before a red and blue figure came and saved her.

“Will be having more guesses coming over. I want you to prepare the other. I don’t want failure.

Ch.7 

Shade’s pov

At least I can try to get things back to normal. It had been almost a week since Miguel and those kids were here. I kind of hope I don’t see them again. I have enough problems dealing with Arachnidqueen and the Valiant Six. Speaking of which…

“Come out you evil fiend! I blast you with my new gun of justice!”

“How about not blast a school while you are at!” I growled at Battleready. He is always so happy to trigger a cyborg who wants to test out his new weapons. It looks like the one I saw in the lab with Miguel and them. Glad me and Kuro trained to try to counteract it. It is more of a bomb base. But it causing more harm to the people around us. Luckily, most people left the area and the school was on lockdown.

“Gunny really wants you dead today,” Kuro said as she launched me up to the nearest building while dodging the bombs

“Yeah but it's not today. I have stuff to do.”

“Like replacing the controller you destroy.” 

“You mean the one YOU broke,” I said 

Battleready was about to summon another gun. Till the sky and are surroundings began to warp. My eyes widen seeing things were glitching like the time with Hobie.

“Do they have to test that stupid thing now!?” I heard Battleready say at the same time he stopped shooting at me. I took the opportunity to tackle him down. I command Kuro to tie him up with my tendrils. 

“Test what Battle?!” 

“Like I tell a demon as you anything. The Great One and are leader will have your head!” He yelled. I growled ready to break his limbs to get some information on him till a portal opened for us. The same one I fell in. 

“What the Vu-”  I was about to say till the bomb was launched from the portal. I was able to dodge with Battleready. We both look to see who emerges from the portal I see what looks like a man in a weird orange and green demon costume with a glider. He looked surprised and then looked at us with a wicked smile.

“I see I was taken out of one party and put into another.” He laughed till he started to glitch out. I heard him yell in pain. Been there. This must be an anomaly that Hobie talked about. How did he get here? Was this because of the collider?

I did not have time to think about it as he threw more bombs at us. I drag Battleready to an alleyway so he doesn’t get in the way. I heard him cursing me but I didn’t have time to deal with him so I knocked him out. Will deal with him later. I dash back out trying to stop him, 

“There you are my little plaything. Mmm you don’t look like spider-women nor do look like a hero.” he mocked I just glared at him

“Can we eat this one?” Kuro asked

“Tempt but let's first kick this guy's ass. He ruining my neighborhood.” I then command Kuro to change my legs so I can jump high to reach him. I launch myself to him at high speed. He barely has time to get out of the way. I grab onto a building with my claws. If I can get off from his glider I should be able to take him.

“I will admit, you are faster than Spider-man. But are more durable?” this Goblin guy threw more bombs at me. Dodging it the best I can. Before a wall flame blocked my way. My instincts were screaming.

‘ Flames bad !!!’

‘Kuro, not now we can’t lose it!!’

‘R-Right.’

I stretched out my arm to reach on top of the rooftop in the hope this Goblin guy would follow me. I reached a construction site lucky no one was here so I could go all out if need be. I just hope not. 

“Come on pretty, you won't change spot? I wanted more people to see the party.”

“Sorry, I’m more of a one-on-one type of person.” I retort changing my as into claws. The Goblin guy must note as he whistles.

“So you have venom symbiote? My Spider-Man had one that made him more in pain. Glad I know your style!” he said as he charged at me.

“You never seen style like mine.” I then jump high and spin-kick him square on the chin, causing him to fall off his glider. He manage to land on the ground, and now looks pissed. I punched him in the face a couple of times in the hope of knocking him out but he was more durable then I thought. He then kicked me off of him, I quickly recovered but before I could reach him, he pulled out a weird deceive. The device let out a loud sound. Causing me to scream in pain as try to cover my ears.

“AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!” 

It feels like I’m being apart, I can’t focus. I can tell he laughs at my pain. I’ll show him PAIN. 

Before I could act on my dark fantasy a portal opened up next to us and I saw red webbing and a blue blurry came out of it as much I see as the pain was too much.

Miguel’s Pov 

I made it in time, tackling the Hobgoblin that was wound up here. I knew this would happen were keeping track on the spider bots. But we lost all contact with them for couple days ago. I wasn’t informed till Peter B. and Lyla told me today. This is why I don’t take a day off. Shit like this!

“You look like a Spider-man, But you not my Spider-man. But a kill is a kill.” he was about to pull out more bombs. Before I gave him the change I dissolved my mask and bite down on his neck to inject my venom into him. He tried to pull me off but it too late as the effect made him go limp. 

“Glad we caught him eya buddie.” 

I rolled my eyes and heard Peter B.’s voice behind me coming from the portal. He just told me an anomaly was spotted on Earth-2424. To make matters worse he brought Mayday with him. She almost one year old and still hate the idea he brings her to work half the time. Peter then looked over to Shade who was still on the ground trying to get herself up. He walks over to her as I web up Hobgoblin.

“Hey you're ok-” Peter reach down to her till tendrils shot out at him. His spidey sense must of warned him as he jumps back away from her. Mayday even cried out which she don’t do..

“Stay away from me!!” Shade growled out her face mask look more like mouth belonging to a symbiote and her red eyes. She hunched over see Peter. Peter ready his webbing till Mayday crying. Her crying must snap Shade out of it as her eyes change back to purplish color. Realizing her claws were ready to attack. Before either I and Peter could say anything Shade ran away. Peter sigh and walks towards him with anomaly in hand.

“Do you want me to go after her? I think I scared her.” 

“No. I’ll go after her, you know how symbiotes get when they feel threatened. Besides I need to talk to her about the spider bots that were destroyed and you fail to tell me.” I said as I gave him the anomaly to him. He had a cheeky grin while Mayday was laughing know here father's predicament. 

“Hey, can blame me Miles and Mayday were showing their artwork and I was helping Gwen with her homework an-”

“Just go before anyone sees us.” 

Peter shrugged as he opened a Portal back to HQ. I swing away and follow her location with the watch I gave her. She seemed to live far away from the city, maybe so they didn’t come looking for her or she wanted to be alone. Shade movement stopped as it led me to an abandoned factory of some kind. Miles did tell me she lives her and I’m not one to judge how people live. There some people in Spider-Society live in worse off conditions. I entered the factory It was pitch black but it was no problem for me, I looked around to see a control center with a little bit of light coming from there. I guess that area she sleeps. 

“ uh, I almost hurt a kid!” 

I heard her yell as I swung up to the control room. Before I could open the door can still heard her.

“I mean we didn’t attack them, and you- I mean we stopped our self”

“Barely, If we didn’t we could have I could have. uhhhh!” 

I heard a crash in the room she must have broken something, I decided to enter to see some destroyed furniture and claw marks. Shade breath heavily reminds me when my ‘other’ side takes over. She turned around to see me surprised. I put my hands up to show I mean no harm.

“What vuck you doing here?!” she yelled 

“Just wanting make sure you ok. He used sound against you and symbiotes are weak to sound.”

“No merda, I’m fine. Should you be going back to your world or something ?”

“I would but I have talked to you about the spider bots we sent to the Alchmax building last week.”

Shade folds her arm at me. Her eye was red again with a slit staring me down. I summon a Medkit to see if she needs any healing.

“I don’t need it. I heal in a day.”

“Yea, but it's better to check since you go-

“There's a reason why live out here so when I lose it I won’t hurt anyone.”

I sigh she reminds me of when I first started out. How I struggled when I first got splice. The only difference is I only dealt with it for five years. She dealt with it for nine. 

“ Just forget about it, what did you want to talk about?” 

I nodded as I brought up Lyla and the spider bots’s data. I showed her that all five were destroyed. I want to know how. The spider bots are well hidden when we send them out so no one shouldn’t have noticed them. Even if they do we sent five out for a reason. 

“So the collider is still activated. By these readings, it getting more stronger than the last time. Before it seems to only spit things out from your Earth now it starting to bring things into here.” I said. Shade just stared at the reading like she trying to understand what I just had told her. I did my best to bring it down so she can understand. 

“I think I got it. The machine is still working and now brings things and people into my earth. What now then?”

I rubbed my chin thinking what our next course of action. Lyla and Margo don’t have enough information about the collider. Each earth has a different collider on how they work. Some are easier to shut down others are harder. And this turned out to be a harder one. I would have sent out my Spider bots and if that didn’t work I would have sent out a team to destroy it. But I worry about it once I get back to HQ to talk to Peter and Jess about it. 

I look back at Shade who was kneeling and wasn’t looking too hot. I went to her but her tendril shot at me. They missed like she was giving me a warning not to get closer to her. 

“Kuro…stop…”

“Trying…”

I heard them say to each other they might not be in sync with each other anymore. I have seen what symbiotes to the host when there not in sync with each. I quickly pull something from med kit. A symbiote stabilzer. Unfortunately, this is meant for venom variants since they are the most we run into. I don’t even know if it going to work on her. 

“I have something that might calm it down,” I said walking slowly towards her. She growled as her eyes glowed red. 

“She not a it.” Shade hissed as I struck a nerve. Should respect ‘it’ by not calling ‘it’ 

“Sorry, both of you aren’t syncing up well right now. This can …might stabilize you.”

“Or what?”

“Might not do anything but it's worth a shot otherwise you go berserk,” I stated. Shade looked at Stringe and then hissed but sounded more defeated. 

“Do it.”

I nodded and got behind her and injected it in her neck into her internal jugular vein. She let out a growl before I could tell she calmed down when the tendril went back into her body. Her symbiote came out of her an sat on her lap like a rabbit would. Wonder why ‘It’ take that form? 

“T-thanks. What is that? I feel better.” she asked

“It a stabilzer for symbiotes. Symbiotes anomaly are… sometimes hard deal.” 

She nodded. As she got up

“Sorry you have to see me like that and sorry that I almost… attacked your friend and his kid. I usually have control. Most of the time.” 

“Don’t worry about it. Peter should know better than to bring his child on a mission.”  I also got up and gave her the medkit. Shade took it.

“I be back later this week, either send out more spider bites or talk to you more.” 

I said as made the portal to HQ. I look back at her as she has a sad look on her face. I have seen many Spider-people working alone and having somewhere to go. I wanted to ask where her family was but something told me I shouldn’t.

Enter Venomgirl ch.6

Shade’s pov

We made it in a building with no problem. I never want to be back at this place ever again. And the last time i was here it was a blood bath. But right now were still in step one. Having to guide four kids and one adult while trying to keep looking like a normal person is so hard. Just have to stay calm and prey to the Great Ones that it be some stupid guide that going to show us the way. 

I went up to the desk lady who was looking at the computer with a bunch of Arachnidqueen’s merchandise surrounding her. The poor thing. She looked up with a surprised look at us.

“Uh. can I help you all?”

“Yes, we here for the tour? The one that was sent up?” I told her. I swear to the Great One if Zee messes this up, they will be dead. I showed her our paper, and she looked over them and kept looking at us mainly Miles, Gwen, Pavitr, and Hobie. I mean they are really too old to be my real kids.

“Uh, ma'am. Uh, it said you and your husband have adopted these kids from sector 12? No offense you two look pretty young.” 

‘Yea, otherwise you be an old hang hehe.’ Kuro giggle in my head

‘Shut up Kuro’

I was thinking up a reason. Damn it Zee, could of make a reasonable age for us. I was going say something till Miguel but in. with a warming smile.

“I and My wife have very good genes. We also work a small health care so we do get good products.” 

‘Wow, he's good at acting.’ I thought 

“Well, you must show me the products you be using.” the lady joked as got up and gave us our day passes to tour this Great One-forsaken place. “ Right this way I’ll be your tour guide till we get to the labs. My name is Sam by the way.” Sam then led us through what looked like a metal detector but I knew that it was not meant to detect Metal. It meant detecting anyone with compound R. Miles was going through I was about to stop him, not knowing if he or the others were going to set it off. When he passed through it. Nothing happens. I was surprised by this, guessing that these guy's power was totally different from mine, which is a good thing. I have been through some before. I know as long as Kuro is asleep I should be fine. 

‘Kuro sleep.’

‘Yea, yea, got it.’ 

I feel Kuro falling to sleep but the sudden sleep of Kuro made me dizzy. I have to stable myself hopeful no one noticed. Miguel caught me he must have noticed my sudden dizziness. he had a worried look on his face, I couldn’t tell if he was acting because he had to pretend to be my husband or he was legitimately worried about me. 

“I’m fine.” I said, want him to get off of me but that would make the scene worse. I walk through the detector not setting it off. Miguel through next also not setting it off. I’m just happy that we went through without setting it off otherwise, I have to do Plan B and I hate Plan B.

“Is your metal broken or something? I didn’t set it off.” Hobie asked since he was covered in metal chains and spikes. I wish he wore something that doesn’t scream problem child.  Sam just smile

“No. No. it detected ‘certain’ metal Lucky you guys don’t have any. Follow me and will begin the history of our founder of Alchemax.'' Sam beginning the boring history lesson. How the founder Alexander Stone made this company a little over a century ago. Not after his family pillaged the land the natives and take their resources for themselves. Something that Alchemax keeps hidden to protect its perfect image. 

“Uh, excuse me, but can we skip the history lesson and go straight to the science part?” Gwen asked. Guess she and the other kids were getting bored and I would not blame them. 

“Yeah, we want to see the… the rare plants and robotic engineering.”  Pavitr chime in 

“Oh I’m so sorry but I have to wait till our special guest arrives. But I can see how long she needs.” Sam then pulled up her tablet and checked. While she did that I saw Miguel messing with his watch, I saw a weird little robot that materialized from his watch. He then plants it near a vent so it can crawl in.

“Weird,” I said to myself 

“Oh good news, we can skip ahead to science lab. She was ready to show the tour. Follow me to the elevator.”  she led us to the elevator which Sam didn’t get on which made us wonder why. “Don’t worry, you guess will be meeting you up. Just, be prepared.” 

Now I’m really worried about who she talking about. Once the door closed, I could help by breathing deeply my anxiety was killing me. I’m in the lion's den, people that have to keep an eye out for.  Before I could turn around to tell the group to keep alert the lights of the elevator turned off and the elevator stopped. I want to wake Kuro back up thinking we vuck up and they found out about us. Mostly me. 

“Stay alert,” Miguel said the kids nodded and so did I. I was about to call Kuro out till we all heard a voice

The door opened up with smoke  to reveal her and all her stupid glory

“ARACHNIDQUEEN!!”

Miguel’s pov

I wanted to throw up. The bright lights even with the sunglasses on were killing my eyes. Doesn’t help that their floating cameras were being shoved in all our faces. And the smoke or fog that fills the elevator. Arachnidqueen pulled the kids towards her and told by their faces they weren’t having a good time.

“Tell me. What are your names kid?” Arachnidqueen put a mic in front of Miles. Miles was nervous, I don’t think we gave them are real names. He looks at me and just mouths the words ‘Make something up

“Kilo.”  

Kilo?! Really?! I pray that was on the paper otherwise were screwed. 

Arachnidqueen looks at him rubbing her chin “Kilo? That very cool name! Here!” She gave him a band that was made of webbing. Have his name on it. She is a fast webber, I’ll have Lyla make a note of it. 

“How you my punky kid. Not getting into too much trouble aye?” she said as she one arm Hobie he just smirks. 

“Nothing you know. It's Brown.”  Hobie said Arachnidqueen looked at Gwen and Pav trying to stay far away. For once Pav doesn’t want to hug someone. Wouldn’t blame him.

“Ugh, Gwendla,” Gwen said as fast as she can

“ My name is ugh, Dia.” Pav says in a panic. Arachnidqueen looks at him suspiciously till Shade intervenes.

“He is from sector 12. All of them. Me and my husband adopt them.”

Arachnidqueen has a love surprise on their faces and turns to sadness.

“You poor children. I’m glad you all got away. The Civil War has gotten way worse.” 

“Civil what?” Miles said till Arachnidqueen continues to do her blog show with us in it. 

“Don’t worry future Alchemax cadet. I the great Arachnidqueen will make this the best day of your small lives. Follow me!” Arachnidqueen said dragging the kids. They have the look of ‘help me’ on their face. It almost makes me want to reconsider my punishment for them. Almost.

“This going to be a long mission.” Shade said quietly. We follow Arachnidqueen around the building. We went around trying to lay the spider bots in each lab hoping they me able to sneak deeper knowing that we not going to really excules areas. 

“So this is Bio. plants. We study plants to help our food shortage and try to bring them to other helpless sectors. This are Mech department to help create future weapons to stop villains, from ruining our prestigious sector!” 

We saw them testing a weapon on Dumby that looked like Shade or Venomgirl getting blasted by many different weapons. I look over to Shade who has a poker face, but Can’t help but see her hand clenching. I would not blame her. Then we went over to  Bio lab deportment. Bring back the days when I worked at my own Alchemax. Wondering how many lives they ruin here. I saw some scientists working on something. With my advanced eyes, I saw that they had some test tubes in their hands. It read:compond-R. What that?

“Hello, earth to Mr. uh what you name again?”  i was brought back by Arachanidqueen probably wanted my attention. I groan realizing I have said the name that Zee made up for us. I know i’m not from this earth but it's better safe than sorry. Never know if there is Miguel O’Hara here.

I sigh “Applebuttom” 

Mile and them couldn’t help but giggle, I wanted to roll my eyes but I had to bite, this Zee is going to get a piece of my mind. I love over to Shade who looks like she just wants to die because of the name, I don't blame her.

“Well, Mr.Applebuttom would like to work here? We are looking for more scientists to help fight evils against the Great ones. And according to your paperwork, you're a scientist yourself.”

“Thank you for the offer, but I’m needed at my current job.” to make sure villains like you do not mess up the Arachno Humanoid Poly Multiverse. Arachnidqueen rubbed my shoulder and gave me a look saying ‘We talk later’. Does she always hit on ‘marry men’? 

She went next to Shade who tried her best not to have a look saying ‘Touch me and you die'

“You're a lucky woman. Ms. Applebuttom. How about you wanting to join? Alchemax would love someone to help teach our future generation about about.” Shade smiles but with more force than last time.

“Mr. O’hara.” I turned hearing my name in a whisper,  Pavitr who didn’t look well all of a sudden. He was grabbing his head. I’m guessing he has a headache but it's strange most spider people don’t get sick.

“Pav are you ok?” I whisper as I don’t want Arachnidqueen to hear us. 

“I’m fine…my spidey-senses is going off. It…never this bad.” 

I look up from Pav to see Gwen, Hobie, and Miles also don’t look well. Grabbing their head or at least trying not and cause too much attention. Something or someone has set them off. Even my spider instinct was to go on high alert. My eyes were going red, thank god for my glasses.

‘Threat’

I was asked Arachinidqueen something till I saw Shade rush to me. She has the look of fear or at least trying not to show it. 

“Is something a matter Ms.Applebuttom?” Arachinidqueen says with concern in her voice. 

“N-no uh, I think we have cut this tour short. I left my medicine at home and I’m starting to not feel well.”  Shade said I was going to ask Shade something till I heard Alachnidqueen's phone going off. She picks it up and talks to someone on the other line:

“Yes, the great queen is he- what again but I just finish- but I have a guess and- well no I just- fine. I’ll be there-”

She hung up the phone and then turned to us. “ Sorry folk but the Great Arachnidqueen hero work is never done. I’m needed elsewhere. But I hope that my bright light pass on to you all and give you some idea on working here. Let me lead you to the lobby at least, also I can give my limited edition souvenirs before you leave.” she then leads us the elevator as we enter I notice that the kids seem better. We no longer near the threat that causes their spidey sense to go off. If the threat was great enough to set it off, then what is the threat?

We headed back to the lobby and before we left Arachnidqueen gave us her very tacky souvenir.

“Let the Great ones guide you and Valiant 6 will protect you.” She said as she left us to the lobby. Shade quickly left the building while we followed after her. I guess she couldn’t get out fast enough. I don’t blame her, she was in the lion's den.

We followed Shade to an alleyway the one we came out of. She was fast as she was already on the rooftop. She fast climber like me. Me and the kids swing up to meet her. Shade quickly put on her mask that covered her mouth. 

“Did you guys send out those things you needed?” Shade asked breathing in a panic.

I nodded “Yes, the Spidet bot will scan the collider and will hack it. Destroying it data so your Alchemax won’t be able to mess with the Arachno Humanoid Poly Multiverse.”

“The Arachno Humanio what?” 

“Never mind, here.” I toss her a watch. Miles, Gwen, and Pav's eyes widen

“She joining the spider society?” Miles asked. I sigh 

“No, this watch is only for me to talk to her. It going take two weeks to make sure collider is destroyed and no holes pop up.” I said as I made the portal back to my earth “I'll keep in touch.” I said make sure the kids go through first and then I entered. I look back at Shade who nodded

Miles Pov

I wish Miguel wasn’t so stubborn. I mean we really didn’t finish the mission. The collider still going to be a problem. And then see all the stuff that Alchemax had was questionable. But what really bothered me was my spider sense was going off like crazy. I could think nor concentrate. I didn’t see or hear anything coming but what did felt was something was at my throat.

“What happened back there?” Miguel said he saw me and the others weren’t feeling well. Gwen spoke up

“I don’t know…It felt like my head was on fire because it kept screaming danger.”

“Yea mate, that never happened to be before. I want to run away.” Hobie said surprisingly being serious. Some I had rarely seen before.

“I agree Mr. O Hara. That never happens to me too. And it felt like someone hands their hands on my-”

“Your throat?” I said, Gwen, Hobie, and Pavitr looked at me with look ‘yea’. Miguel was taking note of. He had a neutral look.

“ I have the bots look into it. There more thing we should look into.” Miguel then walks up to Hobie with a day pass in hand. “Hobie you watch.”

“No, way you got your own,” Hobie said with a sneer. Miguel glared him down 

“Since your watch is the only watch that can go Earth-2424. Lyla is going to delete that earth from the watch. And any other Earth that you're not supposed to go.” Hobie rolled his eyes and gave Miguel the watch with no further argument. But knowing Hobie I feel like he has something in mind.

“the rest of you…” I was brought back to Miguel’s attention 

“All of you won’t be going on a mission for the rest of the week. And you're not allowed to see each other too. Lyla locks their watches once they're back to their Earth.” Lyla popped up and gave him a salute

“Come on tio.”

“No, all four you should know better judgment. You don’t want me to treat like a kid so stop acting like one. You should be lucky it week and not a month. now, All of you go home.” Miguel opens a portal for Hobie so he can go. Gwen huffed pissed at Miguel. Pav went in with sad look waving but to me and the others. I reliant wanted to say more but I could tell Miguel wasn’t in the mood to listen. I  just that something is bugging me. I think there is something we missing, and just hope I’m wrong.

But I was dead wrong.

Miguel’s pov

An hour earlier…

I been looking everywhere in the city. New Beak, or whatever this place is called. I made sure to keep out of sight. Lyla warned me that this earth sent out droids to hunt down ‘Meta’ or people of this world Alchemax experiment on that have a compound. It makes me angry just to think about it. But I can’t worry about that, I just got to get the kids out of here. 

“Lyla, can you read a signal yet?” I said as swung to building to building making sure I was out of sight

“Not yet boss. I’ll try to hack into radios signal to see if someone saw anything out of the ordinary. Give me like ten minutes, go sightseeing or something. It not often you step on an earth that you ban. Especially one that so what normal.” I rolled my eyes on the comment I do not want to stay here longer then I need to. But since i’m stuck here I best to stay undercover for abit. 

I jumped down to an alleyway and there was a newsstand there was a newspaper and some food the man was selling. I use my webbing to snag a newspaper and a couple of foods without them noticing. I hope these people know that printer ink gives them cancer. Look at the paper to see what does this Earth has. The actual Spider-women in this is so self-centered. I see ads about her shitty products. I see side of the page with a wanted sign on Vendomgirl. It reads: 

Venomgirl wanted it for nine years, it is extremely dangerous. Please let the Alchpolice if any sighting of it they will be taken care of and handled in judgment of the Great Ones console thank you for your corporation. 

Viliants Six and Alchemax

I guess, she is not like here, judging how she wanted criminal. Something I haven’t seen before. I crossed path with my Police force and they were run by my Alchemax, wasn’t fun. And something tells me they aren’t going to lock her up. I didn’t have time to dwell on it as Lyla reappeared in front of me.

“Found them. They all turned of their location but I was able to hack into Hobies’s watch. Heh, he thinks he can out-hack me! I show him.” Lyla said as stuck out her tongue. She always likes to outhack Hobie and I get proud when she does, showing the kid how it's done. I looked on the map that they were far so I headed to them to try to keep my cool. But that is easier said than done.

I headed to their location which was under a tunnel, no wonder Lyla had trouble looking for them. I saw two guards in front of the door to the hideout and something tell me that the only way in. I usually prefer to sneak in but really wasn’t in the mood. I walked to the two guards that were only a couple of inches shorter than me but my size wasn’t intimidating them. 

“Great another one. Hit the road pal. Our Freaks' quota is full for today.” one of them said 

“Are you going to let me in or do I have let myself? And you wouldn’t want that?” I said with a glare behind my mask and my arms folded. I can see they started to get scared but they didn’t back down. One came up to me with a weapon in his hand. 

“That's it I have enough of you fr-” I didn’t give him a chance to finish as shot my web at him pinning him on the wall. Before his friend could react I did the same thing. I sigh hoping there is not more but knowing my luck. I open the door to see a bunch of people there as they look at me, ready their weapons at me.

“Oh Shocking great.” 

After finishing taking care of the guards I made it into the main room and was about to open the door when I saw Shade opening it. Her eyes widened when she saw me and she wasn’t the only one I saw the kids’s eyes widen even with their masks on. 

“H-How you know we were here?” Miles asked 

“Lyla hacks into Hobie’s watch since all you three turn off your watch,” I said as glared at Miles, Gwen, and Pavitr knowing they still use my watch or at least for now till Hobie figured out how to make travel dimision smoother. That's what I’m guessing from it. Hobie smirks even with his mask on 

“Well Shit, Guess Lyla cracked in on me aye? Guess that one more point for her.” Hobbies said as he pulled his watch out

“'were now ten to nine, love,” Lyla said 

“It's more like ten to ten.” 

“All of you, focus.” I hissed at Lyla and Hobie. I didn’t notice that someone walked up to me. They wearing big glasses and were short barely as high as my chest. 

“Well hello there. I see that you gave my ‘friends’ a fine hello. My name Is Zee and-”

“Didn’t ask. Don’t care.” 

They were taken aback by this but kept smiling like I didn't say anything. Shade but in probably wanting to defuse this situation.

“Look these Kids are ok. I make sure that nothing happens. But I think we have a problem and-

“And we need your help spider-alien-man.” Zee but in Shade talking then show me a bunch of pictures. “So as you can see, Our big baddies are trying to make a Collider thingy. Your friend Hobie here explains that this thing can do Multi universal stuff. And I’m going to assume that bad.”

I didn’t really pay attention to them seeing in the picture that they were making a collider. Knowing how this world works and how their sixs is this could be bad. That would of explained how Shade got sent from her world to my world. But I wonder why Lyla couldn’t detect it earlier? Even though Earth-2424 is not accessible to anyone, Lyla would still been able to scan it.

“Lyla,” I called Lyla and she appeared before us. Zee was gawking at her. I keep forgetting that this earth is similar to Miles’s and Gwen’s, very moderate.

“Yep, I scanned this earth. there wasn’t any noticeable energy source so it was either. It a dud or…”

“Or what?” Miles asked as the kids walked closer to us

“Their collider is more hidden and the energy is more controlled that even I couldn’t detect it which is very bad,” Lyla said. That would mean that they figure out how to close energy off. I cursed myself inward not noticing it sooner. 

“Soooo. You see, the situation between me and Venomgirl is now in. I think we need your guys' help. You aliens must know how to stop it.”

“We're not aliens. But yes, we know how to stop it. this isn’t the first time. 

“See there was a real issue and-” I cut miles off

“You guys aren’t off the hook. But since you are here, I guess I have no choice but to use your guys' help.” I said as much it pains me. I should called Ben Or Jess to come here But having too many Spider-people in one earth can have some consequences I don’t want that to happen, not again. ‘Canon Events’ are still unpredictable.

“Perfect! Then I do have a plan to get in.

Shade’s Pov

“No.” 

“What?! It's a great plan!” Zee said 

I was rubbing my forehead just listen to Zee’s great plan is and it the dumbest plan I ever heard. Kuro was laughing in my head, I'm glad she was not out.  

“Zee, you want me to go into Alchemax to hack the collider. Knowing they heavily guarded with the six in there too. Also if they caught me, it is over for me. Right?” 

“I know. I know but-” 

“Also, want me to bring these guys with me? Four kids and their mean boss. Won’t you think that people get suspicious that there is more than one ‘Arachnidqueen’ running around?”

“If you let me finish, I can explain,” Zee said with a huff. I fold my arms. Most of Zee plans are always questionable. Mainly, they use me to do most of the hard stuff and they reap the awards. I stay away from Zee from that and the fact they drag me back into their plans it just so annoying.

“As I was saying, I can get you guys in without causing too much suspicion. I was able to get some tickets to have one of their famous tours around the building. I can make you some copies and you all should be able to get in with no problem.” Zee then shows us the tickets. It is one of those tickets that they give out to schools to show kids how ‘awesome’ it would be to work in Alchemax.  

“How was able to get these?” I asked 

“Details! Details! Let just call them up and tell them that a young couple with their four adopted kids wants to see the ins and outs place.” Zee then pulls out paper to hand it to the kids, they look at it with a confess look.

“Gwen raised her eyebrow “I’m a little girl who wants to join the secretary unit to help Dr.Rose and research for longing youth?” she said. I wanted to burn that paper. What the vuck, Zee?!

“I’m a kid who wants to help create new medicine to cure to help future diseases that will plague our sector?” Pavitr said I just want to grab their papers and rip them up.

“We're not kids by the way. Where almost eighteen or at least Hobie is”. Miles tries to point out while Hobie next to him just smirks.

Zee just continues “Well I made it up to get you in. All you have an appointment in about two hours

“Say what now?” Me, Miguel, and the Kids said at once

“Uh, so I took a gamble and hope you come here with Hobie. It pays off as you can see.”

For the love of the Great Ones! Do they gamble on this?! 

“Zee Zee really something. I sometimes miss them.” Kuro said with a snicker as she sneaked out of my body. I just facepalm, but I can’t worry about that now. I need to stop what those damn vucker on what they doing. Anything Alchemax is doing it can’t be good. I swear they not going to endanger any more people.

“Fine. I guess I’ll play along with this.” I heard Miguel say, I turned at him with a surprised look on my face. Is he really going along with this?

“We have no choice. And your six is also working for Alchemax right?” He said I nodded and knowing my luck one or all six of them were there right now. Miguel then looks at the Kids who have the look of ‘well, well,well, look who needs us now.’ I can see the annoyance on his face.

*sigh* “You all have your clivian clothing right?”

“Way ahead of you!” Miles said as the four of them started to undress in front of us. Both me and Miguel have to stop them. 

“Wow. uh Let's do that outside away from people who can't see you. I know you guys not from here but just in case.” I said I dragged them out. Zee gave me the ticket it and the communicator so that I could still talk to them. 

“This looks like this going to be fun hehe.”

Miguel’s pov

We decided to meet Shade near her Alchemax which was in the middle of the city. Big buildings basically scream ‘were on top of the world’. They were a police force outside with scientists and business people coming in and out.

“This place full of capitalism pigs.” I heard Hobies sneer and I wouldn’t blame him. This Alchemax is no different than mine. As much as I want to go in and destroy the collider there would be dire consequences for any ‘canon event’ that will affect this Earth. At least the four had the foresight to bring their civilian clothes so it is much easier to get in without causing too much attention. 

“So were your clothes Miguel?” Gwen asked as I was still in my Spider-man costume. I huffed as I call Lyla out

“Aaawww! Calling little old me because you don’t have a fashion sense.”  Lyla joked as I swiped her way with a growl at her. Miles and them laugh.  “Ok.Ok. Mister Grumpy Pant. Let see.”  Lyla then turns my costume into a red dress. 

“Lyla!” I yelled. I was so glad were on top of the building where no one could see me. Peter would had a field day if he was here. The kids were laughing. 

“Ok. here.” Lyla then turns my outfit casual like a teacher with a polo shirt and dress pants. Something that Miles’s and Gwen’s earth teacher would wear. She made sure that she gave me my sunglasses,  Hearing a whistle from Lyla.

“My best work. I can make coal into Diamonds.” 

“Lyla inform Jess of the situation and-”

“Already did.  We have been scanning from a distance but are not getting much information from here. I’m glad you guys are sneaking in, you can send a spider droid in to pick up the collider energy. I wish you guys luck and have fun with your little date with the symbiote women.” 

“It's not a date.” 

“Whatever you say, boss,” Lyla said as disappeared again. I groan as my and kids jump down the alleyway to make sure no one sees us. I was wondering where Shade is.

“What took you guys so long?!” 

We all turned to see Shade waiting there behind us. Impressed, I couldn't smell or hear her even with the city smell. Shade was wearing a long-sleeve dress that really looked like she didn't normally wear. I note that she wearing gloves and long boots, She looks so shy with her outfit on, doesn’t help that keeps touching her face like she making sure there is nothing on it.

“Uh. Does one of you guys have a mirror?” Shade asked with a stutter I now noticed that her voice sounded softer. 

“Shade, your face is normal, trust me.” her symbiote said. I wonder why she is so interested in her face. Maybe prolonging being a host to it can have prolonged changes to one body. I wouldn’t know, most symbiote spider-people I come across don’t host a symbiote for this long. Gwen came up to her and pulled out a small makeup mirror.

“Here,” Gwen said as she gave it to Shade, Shade looked at the mirror and kept looking at the month part of her face. I did notice there was a line around her jaw that went from ear to ear, it was barely noticeable. She sighed guessing she was satisfied with how she looked. Then gave us each a paper.

“This paper document to say your…my kids,” Shade said groaning probably not used to uncover work, then again neither am I. I look at the paper she gave me. She looked like a red tomato not even looking at me.

“And you are… my husband.”

“Oh congrat Mr. O’Hara.” Pavitr said with a smile 

“Yeah, big man. Knew one day you get someone.” Hobie said I can tell it was sarcastic. I swear he wants to make a sarcastic comment on everything. 

“Why does our paper have a sector unit?” Miles asked It must be this Earth records

“Well since you guys are too old for me to have given birth they just like adoption. I guess on you guy's earth it different or something?” Shade asked

Before Miles could answer I but in “will follow on your lead. We have to work together to get to the bottom of this.” I said not want to get too deep on her earth. Shade nodded the led the way inside. If had a spider sense it would be screaming right now. Knowing the danger that was inside.

Shade’s pov

I can’t believe he got in contact with Zee. they run a freedom fighter group called U.N.I.T and they have been trying to get me to join them for years. I couldn’t join them, I work alone and it going to stay that way. Too many people were hurt by me, too many were killed. I just can’t. 

“How did get in contact with them?” I asked still trying to figure out Zee go in contact. Do they know that Hobie is not from here?

“During my small trip here. I was visiting to get peach bread to bring back. They were attacked in one of the sectors? I think that what you call it here, the building was on fire and you or those other so-called ‘hero’ were around so did a small detour to help those people out. Turn out they were U.N.I.T hightout that was an attack. I went in to save everyone they thought I was Queenbitch's new lackey but I told them I’m not. I guess the leader believed me or something because they invited me to talk.” Hobbies explained to me then he showed me a message on the phone that Zee gave him.

‘ I want to talk to you sooner than I thought. I got intel that something going on with Alchemax. Something big and might have something to do with you. I’m trying to get in touch with the heroes I told you about. Please contact me as soon as you can.’

Judging by how urged it sounds, Zee really wants to talk to him. I just groan I don’t need a bunch of alien kids to run around. What if Alchemax and Valiant six found out about them? they will get experimented on, like a couple of lab rats. 

“Look, I don’t know what Zee wants to talk to you but I don’t think you guys should be here. My earth is not safe for people with powers,” 

“Yeah, blogbitch and her crew been fighting us for years They're annoying to deal with,” Kuro said as she formed on my shoulder. Hobie sighs he just seems type not going to listen. I mean Void, He literally was not supposed to. Then again, My guy told me I should go talk to Zee. I haven’t truly spoken to them for like 4 years. I have been doing my own thing and after the Lizard incident. 

“ Fine, I’ll take her to Zee but will go in the morning. The sector is on high alert after my ‘heroic work’ today.” I said as I pulled up my phone to show them the cameras I sent up outside the factory. The teens saw on cameras droids or the ‘Venomseekers’  what Archnidqueen calls them. Created to hunt me down and other Metas they only active at night thank the Great Ones.

“Don’t worry about us, we fight a lot of bigger and threatening things,” Miles said 

“I bet. But let's be on the safe side. Besides you guys don’t know where Zee, is don’t you?” 

Gwen, Miles, and Pavitr look at Hobie who just shrugged. I guess that Zee trusts them enough to talk to him but not enough to give him their location. 

“ Now you guys can go back to earth or whatever you came from and come back in the morning or I guess you chill here. Just be quiet I’m going to bed.”

They all look at each other. Guess why I’m so chill in letting them stay. I just don’t want them to get hurt. I  don’t care if they are like me. Gwen spoke up

“So, you're not bothered if we stay or anything?” she asked as I got to my pile of blankets that I usually sleep on. As I pull the covers over me

“Nope. Besides if you truly become a threat then I’ll take you all out.” I said, I’m not a huge fan of threatening kids but just want to make a point that they should be wary of me. I turned back and none of them were fazed by it. Miles and Pavitr head to my SP5  Gwen looks at my book, while Hobie sits the coach. I just groan silently as I lay down.

‘They weren’t scared, weird kids.’  Kuro said in my head. I couldn’t help but agree as began to drift off to sleep.

“The anomaly is contained just as my dark secrets that lie within me,” Ben said I just rolled my eyes not wanting to deal with usually edgy speeches. He is one my best but he is one of the talky types and going on his dark past every ten seconds can give anyone a headache. 

“That's all Ben,” I told him not bothering to lower the platform to talk to him still had to deal with the anomaly increase we had been having lately. I asked Lyla if there is an Earth with a collider but so far she did find any. She does have her hands full with helping Margo send the anomalies back to their Earths, Even for A.I. she can do so many things.

“Hey, Miggy!” 

I groan knowing who it was, I did even look at Peter B. who just web up on my platform. I didn’t take my eyes off the screen

“Parker, what did you want?” I heard him huff 

“You know people like you better if you start by saying Hello first. You know?” 

“If you here butter me up, you failing harder than Miles.” I said as the beep of my watch went off telling me I needed to take my medicine The new medicine that I got has been working but I’m not taking risks and with my luck, it probably goes back not working. Peter knew about the alarm, then passed the syringe gun that was beside him and gave it to me with the vile. I took it, feeling its effect that was smooth on my Spider side. 

“Good to know you taking better care of yourself,” Peter commented as I put the gun back down on the desk. 

“Are you just here to keep track of my health or do you want to me something? Otherwise, I’m busy.” 

“I heard from Jess, that you had an anomaly that came to your earth which is weird they practically never came to your earth,” Peter said as a pull-up anomaly that Me, Miles, and Gwen caught a day ago.  “She symbiote huh?”

“Yea, she strange one isn’t she?” Lyla pops out of nowhere flowing between us with her glitching self. 

“I scan her like ten times and I still couldn’t figure out what variants she is.”

Peter raised an eyebrow wondering what Lyla meant. 

“So is she like a venom, carnage, or anti-venom?” 

“We still don’t know, I never see a symbiote DNA this bonded to the host. I mean weren't we so sure if we were talking to the host or the symbiote.”

“Lyla.” I cut her off not wanting to go too deep on the Shade and her anatomy. I don’t have time to worry about it. I’m more worried about all this increase in anomalies. 

“Lyla is still scanning to see if any Earths have a Collider that is being used or anything similar to it?”

“Nope, I’m still scanning. All the colliders that aren’t being used are checked and everything. Hobie and the group are in Earth-2424 with Shade. Margo still having a ruff time with Peni helping her out and-”

“Lyla, please don’t tell me what Hobie and the kids are on Earth 2424.” I took a deep breath pinching the bridge of my nose. I pray they are not on the Earth that I think they are 

“She says they are on Earth 2424 and with Shade the woman you caught.” Peter repeated what Lyla just said. 

“Thank you Peter for the obvious. Lyla pulls up what those four doing.” 

Lyla gave me her salute and then pulled up a video of the Kids. they were swinging in the city following Shade who jumping from building to building. I guess she doesn’t have a webbing like us. She was leading them somewhere. But I’m too Shocking pissed at them that they would go to her Earth that I made sure no other Spider-person go there.

“Well let me go get those darn kids a good talking to.” Peter said. I know damn well that he probably just going to join them. He is Miles's mentor after all and sometimes I wish he wasn’t. 

“No. you staying here taken care thing here while, I’LL go to get them. They be lucky if they can go off their Earth after this.” I said as I jumped down not bothering to drop the platform down as I landed on all fours. Peter swung down to try to calm me down but I wasn’t having it. As I made the portal to Earth- 2424.

“You and Jess are in charge till I get back. Got It.” I said Peter put his hand up with a defeated sigh knowing won’t be able to stop me. I’m Spider-Man we all are stubborn.

“Fine but please go easy on the Kids. ok?”

“No promises.”

Shade’s pov

I can’t believe I’m taking these Kids to see Zee. I got us up early to take them not after I texted Zee. I’m surprised at how fast they responded to me, guess they were waiting for me to answer I don’t know why though. I had to wake the kids up as they were knocked. They should been playing my games all night. By the great ones I’m starting to sound like an old person and I’m only 25! 

I was able to make them some food then we headed out. I have to show them the secret route to get to Zee’s hideout Hopefully they didn't move from the last time I was there. It was located under the main tunnel that led to the main city in the sectors. I was happy that no one was following us and there were many droids out so it was easy travel for us.

We may it to the hideout where I saw Zee’s two big guards guarding the door. I walked up to them, not being intimidated by their size. If Kuro was out she would be rolling her eyes. 

“We're here to see Zee.” I said with an unemotional tone knowing how this type of conversion goes. Both of the two men fold their arms. Not happy to see me and my ‘friends’

“We not letting a freak who abandons us in. Go take your clown party some were else.” One of the guys said with a sneer.

“Hey! Who are calling a clown, you dumb beefcake?!” I heard Pavtir say I didn’t even look back, I just rolled my eyes grabbed both guards with my tendril, and pulled them down to my eye level. Let my eyes turn red. 

“Either let me in or I’m going to let myself in. Got it” I growled that last part. They have the look of fear in their eyes, the look that I have been used to. 

“Vendomgirl?  Maybe you should let them go?” Miles said as he walked up to me Before I could respond we heard a voice coming from the guard's talkies walkies. 

“ Let her in boys. Otherwise, you going to replace the door after you get healed up from her.” I heard Zee’s voice on the other line guessing they knew I was here. I look back at the guards and let them drop on the floor.

“Well?” I said one of them sneer at me as he relented to let us in. He opened the door to let us in. 

“Damn, freak.” I heard him under his breath. I can tell the kids heard it too also giving him a glare at him. But I’m used to it and have been called worse.. It was long down the tunnel where a bunch of people walking around planning their next attack against Alchemax and the Valiant 6.  I led the Kids to the Main room knowing Zee was there. As I open the door I see Zee with their big-ass glasses and smile, like it was their plan to get me here the whole time knowing they probably were.

“Oh, Venomgirl! I’m so glad you were able to make it. And You see I made new friends that brought more friends.” Zee turns to Hobie “Glad got my message I’m surprised that you responded back, I didn’t think the phone signal was able to reach you.” 

Hobie pulls out the phone. And toss to Zee we both saw the phone have a lot of weird add-ons. Stuff I had never seen before must be from his earth or something.

“I had to tinker a bit I’m kind of surprised that it even works. You invited us here for the party. So what going on, eya?” Hobie asked. I just want to know what going Zee needs help from mult -universal Aliens. Zee pulls out a couple of pictures. I and Kids took a look at them to see they were from Alchemax, a Picture of a giant machine I can see a scientist working on and I can see a blurry of their ‘boss’

“They seem to make a machine, something similar to what you told me. A collider?” Zeee said. The Kid's eyes widen from this. I gave them a confused look trying to put things together.

“So they making something that me and Shade can break. big whoop.”  Kuro said as she came out of my body in her bunny form. she was on the table trying to get a better look.

“Long time no see Kutey Kuro.” Zee smirked while Kuro growled at them. I absorb Kuro back into my body.

“Yeah that a collider alright.” Gwen said “It's kind of the same one that Miles’s earth made a little smaller though.” 

“So you guys had to deal with this before, does that mean this is bad news for us?” Zee said as he pulled out one of their smoke and lit it up.

“Yeah really bad. Your Alchemax isn’t so great, right? That's what you thought me, Gwen, and Miguel, right? That we were working for them.” Miles said as I nodded. What is Alchemax planning? Maybe I should have talked to Zee earlier. But… I can never get over from the past. Before I could respond we all heard a crash from down the hall. Zee was going over it when they got a call talkie walkie.

“Zee… this guy…he attack…and he…” we all heard from the radio. I head to their door. Thinking that Zee was under attack. Miles and they were about to follow me to help fight this intruder. When I opened the door, all of Zee’s guards were taken out, and saw the spider-kid's boss standing in front of me.

Ch.3

Miguel’s pov 

I can’t believe they let her out. All they know she could have broken others out of their cells. Or went on a rampage. I know Shade has been a hero for only nine years but it seems that her powers aren’t fully controlled. And the earth she from I need to see her back. We reached my lab since the Go-Home-machine was still not ready for her yet, also I needed to yell at Hobie and them.

“Look, can you just let those guys go? I should of stayed in my cell like a good prisoner.” Shade said. Judging from her tone she did feel guilty that she caused them trouble. I sigh, I’m still giving Hobie and them a good talking-to. I dissolve my mask and turn around to face Shade and them. I saw Shade’s widen a bit as she was eyeing me more.

“ Oh Great Ones, you are hot!” I heard Shade’s symbiote say next to me. I couldn’t help but blush from the comment, I’m shocked and thankful the lab lighting makes it hard for everyone else to see clearly. I noted blushing hard and the Kids were giggling behind her.

“Kuro, Shut up!” She said through her teeth, also blushing 

“But, he is.”

I try to get everyone to focus by snapping my fingers. 

“All four of you are big trouble as was saying.”

“Come on tío, She wasn’t doing anything wrong. And the fact she a hero on her Earth maybe she should, you know, treated better?” Miles said. I still don’t like him calling me that. I feel unworthy of that word. 

“She is still a symbiote variant. Too much negative emotion from either from the host or the people around it can have dire consequences.” I said I know Gwen, Miles, and Pavitr hadn’t had their symbiote canon event yet. But they still should know better. 

“Wait, what a symbiote?” I heard Shade ask, everyone turned to her. I even look at her confused. Then I realized why she wouldn’t know what a symbiote is. She is one after all and she is the only one that I know of.

“Wait, you don’t know that …uh your ‘little’ friend is a symbiote?” Gwen asked. I saw Shade shake her head. 

“No, Kuro has been with me since I was born.”  

“Wait, you were born with it,” Mile asked Before Shade could respond to him I cut her off

“It does matter how she got it. All that matters is we are sending her back home once her DNA can locate her Earth. And since you guys let her out I’ll now have to keep an eye on her.” I groaned out now having to watch her.

“All of you aren’t going on missions for a week for this.”

“Aww. come on” Gwen. Miles and Pavitr whined. Hobie just rolled his eyes. I know he is the oldest of them. I just wish he acted his age. 

“Now all of you head to your earth. And better not leave to see each other, I’ll lock your watches and you won’t be able to see each other for a month.”  I can tell Miles and Gwen want to retort something till Hobie chimes in to stop them.

“Come guys. Let's not pissed off the big man ey? Fine, we play your way ex-boss.” Hobie said as he left my lab with not more further argument. Gwen, Miles, and Pavitr follow him out. Something tells me they are up to something but I can’t worry about those guys' rebellions way.  Lyla came back with the cheeky smile she always has.

“Good news boss, her DNA is almost synthesized to the Go-Home-Machine so in like ten minutes or so. She can be sent home soon,” she said with a smile she always does. I nodded. Shade’s symbiote was looking at this Lyla, reminding me of a child who saw the animal for the first time. Lyla did the same as she was scanning ‘it’.

“I still can’t figure out what this symbiote variant is. Their DNA is really bounded no wonder they can’t stay apart.” 

“Hey, microwave! Go stare at your stupid big spider why don’t you?!”  

“It's kind of cute compared to the other ones.” Lyla said what I think is called ‘it’ that triggered ‘it’ more as ‘it’ started to lash out in the containment jar ‘it’ was in 

“SAY THAT TO MY FACE YOU KUSO MICROWAVE!! I'll-” 

I quickly hit the button to mute it. Something tells me it going to be yelling and cursing up a storm for a while I don’t have time to deal with that. I turn towards ‘it’s’ host also looks like about to curse me too. But at least she kept her mouth shut. 

“Don’t worry, you two will be sent home shortly,” I said but she huffed 

“Can you please give me back Kuro at least? I don’t trust you with her, I don’t care if you know the whole ten-meter thing. If we get separated for too long we’ll go into shock and-” 

“That not going to happen. I’ll make sure of that. I’m more worried you go berzerk and attack anyone. You two don’t have full control don’t you?” I pointed out to her. Shade closed her mouth with on response, even her symbiote stopped yelling in the jar and had a look of shame on its face which I’m surprised. Most symbiotes don’t care about the host's feelings. 

“I was in control. I wouldn’t attack those kids without reason.” 

I sign,  it be very hypocritical of me to judge her on that. “Just be silent for a while while finish up my work,” I said as I pulled her onto the platform. She got on with no more feather fighting. She looks more amazed about the setup, I guess she never really explored too much of the spider society.  I continue my work and unmute the symbiote since it shut up now.

“So what year this Earth is? Hobie said this like a future Earth.”  She asked, I Ignored her, wanting to finish my report and check on the stats on the other Earths . 

“Hey, big dumb Spider! She asked you a question!” 

“Kuro. stop it. He busy or something.”  

“You're in my Earth, Earth- 928 in the year 2099. Does that answer your question?” I said didn’t take my eyes off the scenes. “Your earth is 2424 and in the year 2023 correct?”  

“My Earth 2424? Is there a reason why that's a number or something?” 

“No, that's how the Earths are labeled.” 

“Ok? Well you guys didn’t seem so keen on going on my planet to invade so is my planet that bad for you guys not to come?

I rolled my eyes when she said invaded, were not aliens for shock's sake. “Your Earth is banned.”

I didn’t need to look at her that her eyes went why. I turned to her sure enough Shade’s eyes were wide.  

“What? Why?” Shade asked. I don’t want to give her any more information as I already did. Till Lyla returns to tell me the The-Go-Machine is ready for Her. Then I was about to give her a Jar that contained her symbiote before I warned her.

“I’ll unwrap you and give you back you symbiote, but you try anything…” I unsheath my claws to show her what I meant. Not a huge fan threat but it does get my point across. Shade didn’t seem fazed by my threat, even her heartbeat was still calm. 

“I understand, Just give her back to me.” 

I unlocked the containment jar and the symbiote quickly went back into her body. Her hair turns from white to black from this. I unwrap her and she follows me to the Go-Home-Machine.  As walk in I had Margo set up the Machine to set her to her Earth.

“Uh sorry, I attack you guys first. Alchemax and I have a very messy history…” Shade said as she jumped on the platform of the machine. 

“I don’t blame you, Alchemaxs aren’t the ethic of people.” I gave a sign to Margo to start the machine. The Machine started to form the space webs, Shade looked around it with a nervous look.

“This not going to hurt right?”

“As long you don’t move,” I said and she nodded after being fully covered she was sent. I breathe easier that she was sent home. Little didn’t we all know we going be in one hell of a Shocking adventure.

Shade’s Pov

I shout out the portal at so high speed that I have to grab something to slow me down and not fall off the building I was on.

“What the Void?! Couldn’t they send us home and not trying to kill us?!”  Kuro said. I agree, I’m in top of a tall building, and I would fall a few more inches. Once I my bares and calm down the flashlight teleporting is rough. I look around to make sure I’m back. I jump down to the alleyway to change to my normal outfit. And walk out the street. I walk to one newsstand to see that its my Earth. Talking about Valent 6 and Arachnidqueen being the hero saving the little girl I saved. I just roll my eye and head back home. Luckily, it not far.

I have few bucks on me and grab some food on the way. I have to put a note that i’ll have get some more cash soon. Might rob another high-end person but right now I just want to go home. It only took 20 min. To get to my place. An abandoned factory. It's scary but its homie. 

I head in going to the main control room where is set up.  T.V. on the floor. Piles blanket to sleep on. A poster, and a game console. And fi-wi from Zee. I unsallow my phone, glad those guys didn’t open me up. I checked what happened I was gone. Turn out I had only been gone for like couple of hours and there wasn’t anything bad that happened while i was gone. Archnidqueen boosted how she saved the kid earlier today, the one I saved and she put in danger. Great ones.

Kuro was eating the rest of the food I brought, so I didn't have to head to her little bed as  I did the same. I was exhausted, I just hope tomorrow there is nothing surpri-

*crash!*

I went high alert, Kuro got up and we changed to my Venomgirl outfit. I sniff the air and try to locate the intruder(s). I growled deeply like a bear that usually scares people away spreading more rumors about this place. The strange smell nor the sound didn’t go away.

“Leave,” I growled out I really don’t want to deal with this.

“Don’t feel like it, mate.”

My eyes widen recongnize the voice the smell seems to be above me I look up to see Hobie sticking on the ceiling. He wasn’t the only one, I saw Gwen, Miles, and Pavitr also with him.

“What the void? Why are you guys here?! How did you get here?! How did they find my place?!” I asked hundreds of questions. I try to calm myself down, but How they got here is still on my mind.

“Did you miss us?” Hobie said as he jumped down, the others did the same. The other three look around my living space. It is not homely but I didn’t think that I would have guessed over

“Nice place. You might want some more lighting” Gwen said I think she tried to not be mean about it. And I do live in the dark. It helps calm my senses.

“Oh wow, you have a PS5? How you got it?” Miles said look at my SP5. 

“We stole it,” Kuro said as she de-transformed me. Miles and Gwen gave a questionable look. I shrugged

“Look I can’t really go get a job. If you haven’t noticed.” 

“Oh, you have chai?” Pavitr looks at ‘my kitchen’ which is just a sink, mini fridge, and tea maker.

“Yea uh I have some chai tea.”

“Whoa whoa chai is tea. Your saying tea tea!!” Pavitr said grabbing one of my tea bags. Something that must be something from his earth. 

“Uh ok? You still haven't told me how you guys got here?”  I said kind of starting to get impatient, doesn’t help it like late, and want to sleep and now I have a bunch of teens in my place uninvited.

“Well see these watches. They allow to teleport any earth. Well my can, those three have the boss ‘censor watches,” Hobbies said as pointed to the watch he had on. He looks different from the other three. “I still don’t get why guys won’t wear the watches I Made.”

“No offense Hobie, your watches still need some work. We feel nauseous every time we use the portal.” Miles chimed as was sneaking trying to turn my SP5, I just glared at him and took a hint and placed the controller back down.

“Ok? That answers one question but doesn’t answer the others.” 

Hobie then pulls out a card from his pocket and a phone that looks like it is from my earth.  He threw the card at me and I caught it. My eyes widened when I saw the symbols on the card from U.N.I.T. from Zee. 

“Looks like your friend needs help and they going to need a lot of it.”

Drider Miguel

so in the discord I'm in we make Sona and a variant of Miguel. this is one of the Miguel I made.

so this earth-295 Miguel who Drider (the lower half of his body is that of a spider. Also he like 9ft tall) I made a short story on how he was turned into it. hope you enjoy

it has been many months since Miguel quit Alchemax. It's more like he ran away as they essentially had him as a prisoner in the company. His work on gene splice and Bioengineering was useful for Alchemax, mainly to create a more addictive Rapture drug for King Pin Dana who has an open market for the drug. She and Tyler try to run the city by making people addicted. Miguel didn’t want any part of it as his goal was to help cure his daughter from an Autoimmune syndrome that had been with her plaguing her since she was a baby.

He went into hiding with his daughter as he continued his testing on a cure. He was one step closer to one, as he tested with a number of animals. weirdly enough spiders were the most compatible on the test of the genes. He was almost done setting up the last of the testing before he and his daughter heard an explosion upstairs. Miguel checked the cameras that his brother set up in the hideout and saw that Alchemax goons busted in and had the house surrounded. 

They were nowhere for him or Gabriella to hide. The only place he thought of hiding was the testing pod. Wasn’t the greatest idea, but his options were small. Both he and his daughter hide just as the goon breaks into the basement. They scan around and look at his paper and computer work. Starting to steal data from the computer probably to give to Dana or Tylor. Gabriella whimper trying not to make to much noise but having to hold her breath with not well develop lungs made it harder. A cough split out and one of the goons heard her and at the same time, another goon hit a button that activated the machine that Miguel and Gabriella were in. seeing the machine was about to close on them. Miguel only had enough time to push his daughter out of it before it was completely close.

“Hey! There they are. Stop the machine!”

“I can’t! I’m trying to override it but nothing working!” the goon shouted trying to figure out how to spot him he made the machine go full power with 50% spider DNA still in the system. Miguel never went up to more than 5% he doesn’t know what 50% will do to him. He saw the light glowing brighter and brighter. As he was hit with a ray of gene-spicing energy. He can feel every adom being torn apart and reformed. He screamed in pain wishing for death as it felt forever.

Gabriella could only cry trying to get her father out of the machine as he heard him scream in pain one of the goons grabbed her pulling her away from the machine as they were ordered to bring her in. 

“Shit he shocking dead. Shock! What we do know?!”

“We still got the data and the brat. Let bring her and-”

The screams stop as the machine finishes the process. It opened up with a bellow of smoke coming out of the machine as everyone heard a thud. They saw Miguel weakly crawling from his machine but something was wrong. His skin had a blueish tone to it and he looked very clammy. He was breathing hard and there seemed to be blood coming from his legs. Gabriella tries to help her father but the goon pushes her down and walks over to Miguel.

“He looks like a dead man. Let put out of your -” Before he could finish his sentence a  Spider's leg shot out from Miguel's bleeding leg stabbing the goon in the chest. The goon stumbled back from being stabbed and fell down as comrades watched and stared in shock.

Miguel was processing what was going on his body felt very tight. Like he is suffocating him. He tried to focus on something or someone as he heard a sickly wet rip. He looked down on his leg and saw more skin was me torn from his body as more spider legs came out. He screams in pain as he can feel new bones made where his legs and lower back are. He can feel his body being pulled, stretched, and torn apart even more. He felt like the inside were on fire and his heartbeat was pumping faster than it had ever had before. He looked at his hands as talons tore on the tips of his fingers and the skin around his arm painfully ripped off from him with a sloppy wet noise similar to a wet towel. His new arms were twice as big and his skin was blue with some red blide-like spike coming from the side of the forearms. 

Miguel hugged his body now ripped as many skins off as he could. Feeling the need felt so tight and small. More sickly rip was heard as his legs were replaced by a huge spider's abdomen and spinnerets that were the same color as his arm with a spider-like symbol on his back. He ripped the last of his old skin which was his head and back. His back has spikes going down his spine and his face now has eight red glowing eyes. His teeth fell out to replace with fangs and now chelicerae around his jaws. 

Miguel weakly got up still hazed by his transformation unaware of how monstrous he truly became. Gabriella was shocked and scared of what happened to her father, before she could say anything she saw the goon that her father stabbed earlier weakly trying to get up as he aimed his gun at Miguel. Gabilla saw this and without thinking ran as fast as she could toward him. Miguel saw his daughter run towards as a shot rang out in the room. To Miguel, everything went slow-motion as he saw his daughter, his own flesh and blood collapse on to the floor. Gabilla was shot in the back. 

Miguel rushes to her, trying to pick up and being careful with the new talons he has. She was so much smaller now in his arm. 

“Gabi? Gabi?!” Miguel said checking on her to see if she was breathing or not. I was slow and painful. 

“What the shock is that freak?!” more goons rushed into the basement seeing the 9ft spider creature in front of them. They had the guns pointed at it scared what it might do. 

But Miguel didn’t care. All he cared about was that his daughter was hurt.

They hurt her.

They hurt his spiderling. 

THEY WERE GOING TO PAY.

Everything became blurry to Miguel, the next thing that happened was there was a gunshot all around the room. There were ten men there but they were being torn apart. Some of their insides were drained when Miguel bit into them. The one goon who has the memory card. His leg was injured during the kill frenzy. He managed to almost make it to the upstairs door till he was dragged back down. The last thing Goon saw was red eyes that looked down on his prey.
