Can we please stop commenting negatively on other people's bodies?

And I don't even mean here. I mean especially in our families.

I mean, no grandma, it's not okay to ask me if I'm pregnant in front of everyone at your birthday party just because my body has obviously changed since we last saw each other a year ago.

And, yes mum, I would like to eat a bit more because I'm just hungry, I'm sorry I don't fit into your ideal of beauty.

And as the husband of my gran, who I've seen three times so far, it's definitely not okay to touch my tummy and ask again if I'm sure it's just the food. I mean.. the fuck?!

Oh and thanks to all the others, especially my parents, who more or less wordlessly let me know that they would understand the comments of the others instead of standing behind me.. that really made my evening!!
