@konixhq SET FOR @kingkongmagazine COVER REVEAL @sevdaliza_ for the Migration issue of #kingkongmagazine. At the age of 5, experimental musician and producer Sevdaliza headed to the Netherlands, leaving behind her home in Tehran, Iran. Guided by a calling for music, she found herself facing an opportunity that would transform her life path and began to hone her unique sound — creating an electronically-charged, otherworldly utopia. In 2015, Sevdaliza released The Suspended Kid and Children of Silk, armed with an experimental approach and calling upon inspiration from both the ephemeral and the physical: glass, silk and skin. Her debut album, Ison — an ode to motherhood and femininity — dropped in 2017 on her own record label, Twisted Elegance. With music videos akin to conceptual masterpieces, her nomadic upbringing has shaped a multi-faceted exploration, as she tackles complex themes packed with emotion and personal struggles.
