Exploring Box Ties

Hi, we're finally feeling well enough to get back to things and I am so excited to show you this. 🩷 We have gotten interested in box ties, and here is one we want you to take a look at! We used a little bit more (+15ft of) rope than needed so the back is a little messy but I love the look. And the feeling of struggling against it is lovely, even with it on the loose side of things I still feel completely powerless in it. Having my arms or the back ropes held still while he teases cute little moans out of me is frustratingly awesome.

Unfortunately I had to censor it or Mr. Tumblr would find and kill me. But what do you think? Worth learning well enough to turn into a tutorial? - Nea 💋

Hi, waiting for packages to ship and piercings to heal can take a little while... So let's talk about plans.

We love getting to show off pretty ties, it could be fun to continue to highlight our favorites. We could make more tutorials and educational content, it is great to see how many enjoyed our first one. The idea of being a bit more artistic and mixing rope with pretty outfits has interested us for a while. We could also try our hands at showing off some lewder things, rope makes a lot of things look and feel better.

Basic Wrap & Cinch Tutorial

As requested here is a tutorial for our go-to tie. It can be used to tie two things together, like your arms and legs, in almost any combination, we will show a wrist tie. It is a great beginner tie because of how easy it is to slip out of when needed, and we would recommend it to any newcomer to Shibari.

Step 1 - Coil

The first step is to wrap (coil) a length of rope around your wrists. We are using a 10ft rope, but almost any length works. Start in the middle and wrap each tail around until even, leaving a comfortable amount of rope to work with. Do not over-tighten, especially with wrists you should be able to comfortably fit a few fingers between the rope and skin.

Step 2 - Cross

Take the tails cross the top and bottom rope over each other holding the coil in place and leading each over and to the other side.

Step 3 - Cross Again

On the other side cross each rope over each other then back the way they came to the front side. It should look like a chain link.

Step 4 - Cinch & Enjoy

On the front, tie any knot of your choice to cinch the ropes. We use a simple knot (one tail wrapped around the other once then pulled tight) that relies only on friction to make it easier to escape.

Wrap & Sinch Bindings

This is one of our favorite ties, it is great for beginners and casual Shibari restraints. Although it is very simple you can combine it with other ties for more complex situations. The ties can be done with nearly any amount of rope but 10ft lengths often do the best to distribute tension. A tutorial can be found here. I love how these feel, they are comfortable, do not pinch and are easy to slip off if needed. They make they make the wearer so easy and cute to play with.

Valentines Heart Ties

We decided to have some fun with rope this Valentine's Day. Both of these ties come from @kinkyfemqueer who from what we can tell is the leading expert in heart-harnesses. ❤️

The ties take 20ft of rope for the top and 30ft for the bottom. Tutorials can be found on her tumblr, the hearts are a bit tricky but worth mastering. Both of the ties felt very nice on me, hardly restrictive and fun to get dragged around in. You could easily attach small vibrators to the top or bottom for added fun.

Spiral Leg Bindings

If you ever need to keep someone put this is a pretty nice and fairly comfortable option. Add an arm binder they are effectively immobilized. Normally with a 30ft rope you can add an additional leg wrap but I chose to add a few knots on the inner thighs. Additionally, the tails can be used in other ties or as leads for more control. It was really erotic only being able to crawl and shift lightly. Knowing that any moment I could get pushed onto my back or chest and only have my arms to put up any resistance.

New Year's Harness

Happy New Year!!! We realized that we might as well start the year with a bit of rope so here is Nea in a harness.

This harness is quick and fun but kind of hard to keep still, so we are going to try experimenting with other options in the future.

It is almost maddening not be able to touch myself with my hands bound but I have to admit that it is very very fun.

Resolutions are fun, so if you want to look at prettier things this year keep an eye on us. ❤️ Also Nea has a bit more spice to share here if you ever want more. 🌶️

Sleek Heel Ties

Another fun tie from The Dutchy we picked up this holiday and modified slightly for show. 5-10ft lengths of rope are perfect for this. The tie is simple enough and once they were on, a hand on the heel worked as a wonderful control point. It spreads out tension very well. Comfortable to wear but impossible to resist or push off. Knock me down and I am not coming up quickly. This is going to be fun to mix into other ties.

Happy Holidays

Allure of Amethyst

As requested, some lovely purple rope in the form of a pentagram harness. It weaves together perfectly snug and sexy. Some may call it demonic but that's half the fun. Maybe we should get horns and revisit this.

I figured this tie would theme well for Halloween. I'm in love with the purple rope. This tie is from "The Dutchy."

It's a rather simple tie, and if you can work blind behind your back, you could even do this to yourself. Thank you @neamore for being a great model and a sweet heart. 💜

I love how the lines overlap on my chest, the weaving over and under creates such a pretty view. I also loved how great it felt when pulled on, not pinching anywhere just a spread out force I had to give into.

Heart Thigh Garter

We found this lovely tie on @kinkyfemqueer's blog, the tutorial can be found here alongside our other resources. We used a 30ft length of rope but weren't able to finish the last few ties around back to secure it all, so it might be smart to use a 50ft length if you follow the tutorial. I love how this felt, nice and snug hugging my hips without being too tight anywhere. It shifted easily with my movement and felt nice to tug on. Plus the hears are absolutely adorable. It is going to be super fun to revisit this with a prettier set of clothes to match.
