Happy Stairways set

This new set is all about the space under the staircase ! With this new pack, you'll get two new staircases (one with pattern, and one without but with multiple painted colors or natural wood swatches), assorted railing and fences, and a modular shelving system that will go under. You can use both sides as standalone or against the wall, it will work however you place them. Along with it, multiple clutter to fill the shelves or the walls, among with new wallpaper and painted color walls. Everything to make a bright and cheerful staircase area !

This set includes 24 new items, maxismatch, lowpoly & basegame compatible.

Build: Two stairs (one with natural woods and sisal carpeted pattern and one with natural sial but 26 color swatches), a railing and an assorted fence.

Wall: Seamless wallpaper with assorted painted wall.

Furnitures: 5 modular shelves, stackable to build the perfect understair.

Lighting: Ceramic wall light

Decor: Muddy adult and kid boots, umbrellas in wicker basket, sisal baskets, books (left & right), assorted sisal pattern rug, wall frames, potteries decoration

Plants: A hanging plant, a small fern and a flower vase bouquet.

Victor was always a delight to interact with as part of the Sims community, and nobody, ever, should have to die so young. My condolences to his family and to his dear friends in SimRealist, who I know are deeply heartbroken. May his memory be a blessing.

Love this idea

It's okay to not like something, but if you see somebody enjoying something you don't personally like, for the love of god stfu and leave them alone to enjoy it. If it's not actually hurting you, then you have no reason to comment on it. There's so much potential for harm when you dump hate on people who are innocently enjoying things. Honestly, it takes so little effort to just scroll away and leave somebody in peace, and everyone's life would be better if you did that instead.

In a world where you can be anything, be kind. And if you can't be kind, at least be silent.

A little build challenge I whipped up since I realized I create too many residential and not enough community lots! Roll two d20s (or use an online number generator/dice roller) to determine what lot type you will build and where it will be placed. Feel free to adjust the lists to reflect the packs you have. I wanted to try to create a sims legacy challenge. Turns out, it's a bit more difficult than I expected...

Insect Legacy Challenge

Do you like learning about insects or just making sims in pretty colours? Maybe some other challenges seem stale or just not right?

Well take a look at the Insect Legacy Challenge, a ten generation legacy with a focus on colourful insects and their famous traits.

Some rules and suggestions:

Each heir should represent the insect (of course you don't have to do that but it's a fun aspect that could give you ideas)

The heirs' or their spouses' gender doesn't matter (unless stated otherwise)

Cheats can be used just not excessively (personally it makes it too easy)

You can live anywhere you'd like (unless stated otherwise)

Each generation must complete everything written in the bottom left corner. Only then can you move on to the next heir

I recommend keeping the lifespan at normal

If anyone actually tries this and wants to share their journey, you can use the #theinsectlegacy (I think no one is using that hashtag for other things)

This is Aubrey. She thought she knew what she was getting into when she moved to Henford and bought an old cottage sight unseen. Boy was she wrong. Luckily she had Sprinkles to keep her company. Not long after trying to settle in she met a wonderful family right down the street. She found her and Wyatt spending lots of time together and he offered to help her fix her house first by putting a floor in her living room. Before she knew what was happening he proposed at a family get together and she said yes. After all the planning etc they finally got married. A few days before this though Aubrey found out Wyatt had a baby with someone else. The woman even went as far as marrying Wyatt's brother. They invited them and she did nothing but cause drama while there. In the end though Wyatt and Aubrey got to see his beautiful little girl and take her home with them for a few days. They are slowly fixing the house up and trying their best at raising a cow and a few chickens.

This save file uses all EP’s, GP’s (not Journey to Batuu), SP’s and some of the kits (Country Kitchen, Blooming Rooms, Incheon Arrivals, Retro Fit, Industrial loft, Moonlight Chic and Little Campers kit).

What’s new in this update?:

Moonwood Mill and Copperdale have been completely redone, added multiple new lots, updated other lots and provided make-overs for the households.

All households that are currently living in the different worlds have a set sexual orientation and pronouns.

Finished worlds: Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, Newcrest, Magnolia Promenade, Windenburg, San Myshuno, Forgotten Hollow, Brindleton Bay, Del Sol Valley, StrangerVille, Glimmerbrook, Sulani, Britechester , Evergreen Harbor, Mt. Komorebi, Henford-on-Bagley, Tartosa, Moonwood Mill (NEW!) and Copperdale (NEW!).

Finished vacation worlds: Granite Falls and Selvadorada.

Finihed other lots: Hospital, Science Lab and the Police Station.

To be updated: the Magic Realm, will either be included in a future update or on the gallery (OriginID: fleuralia)

What do you get with this save?:

For my save file all lots are either completely new builds (almost all) or renovations, ofcourse created by me. Exceptions: I have added the official builds for the releases of the Paranormal SP by Dr Ashley and the Dream Home Decorator GP by Deligracy to this save, since I thought they deserved a spot. These two are therefore not my own creations, credits are given in the description to Dr Ashley and Deligracy. Mt. Komorebi, Henford-on-Bagley, Tartosa, Moonwood Mill and Copperdale lots are largely created by GameChangers. Most lots have gotten small updates, others are completely new builds by me.

All the townies had make-overs plus I added new families to spice it up a bit. Some of the townies are made by other creators, who are given credits in the description of the household. All the townies in the different worlds have a story, some include sentiments and adjusted relationships to the story. 

Added plenty of community lots to give your Sims something to do (YAY!). Almost every world has one restaurant, but it also includes festivals that represent the four seasons (park lots) and a fully functional shopping street in Magnolia Promenade (toy store, bridal store and more).

I have added rental lots so you can go on vacation in more worlds. For example in Sulani, Willow Creek and Windenburg.

Other details:

As mentioned at the beginning, this save uses almost all packs (except Journey to Batuu and some kits). This means that if you download it without owning or installing most of the packs a lot of objects will disappear from the save, but if you are not bothered by this you can stil download and play in it.  

I would love to add some households in this save created by all of you! Add your household under the hashtag #fleuraliatownies in The Sims 4 Gallery, you can add a storyline and world in the description but thats not obligatory. If I respond on your creation it means that I have incorporated it in the save for the next update (first one added with this update in Copperdale!)

Sadly the last update and pack came with a lot of bugs, the one I noticed were not specific to the save but to the game, as more players in different saves experienced them. I suggest before reporting problems in the save to me, to check on forums if its related to a general bug/glitch or to mods (if you use them).

7 Stages Of Grief legacy challenge

This is my first ever legacy challenge so it’s quite short in comparison to most legacy challenges, but I feel it could be a good one for beginners/casual players?

Obviously this challenge is a little dark and morbid, it’s also quite heavily reliant on storytelling game play too (it gets happier in the later generations I promise!)

I feel this could be a really cool challenge for in depth angst based game play, but obviously it won’t be for everyone.

I’ve tried to make it as vanilla as possible in terms of mods and packs, but I would recommend having at least city living, cottage living and cats and dogs. As far as mods, I use the pregnancy overhall mod and woohoo wellness mod, particularly for the last generation to work.

I’ve not included skills to master as I’ve left it up to the player what would suit their play style! But if you want to add anything onto this please feel free, just credit me!

Generation one: Shock

You’ve created the perfect life: spouse, child and the beginnings of a career…but all of that is shattered when your partner tragically and suddenly passes away. To deal with this sudden shock that you can’t process, you pack up your life and move to the countryside to live a quiet and reserved life, forgetting the career you once dreamed of to pour all of your time into what remains of your family.

Rules for this generation:

* Must start in an apartment in San Myshuno before moving to Henford-On-Bagley

* Must have only one biological child with your spouse before they pass away

* Must have spouse die before your child becomes a teen

* Re-marry as an adult to someone who has children of their own to create a blended family dynamic.

* Enter the entertainer career to only quit it when your first spouse dies

* Never enter another career

Generation Two: Denial

With your formative years consisting of navigating the death of a parent as well as living with a step family you never truly got on with, you’re one hardened individual. You refuse to acknowledge any of the pain you felt and still feel, and instead chose to follow a hedonistic lifestyle, hoping that the chaos will distract you forever.

Rules for this generation:

* Serial romantic aspiration and non committal as a trait

* Never marry or have a long term relationship

* Conceive a child through a one night stand/ friends with benefits

* Have a distant/ negative relationship with that child

* Enter at least 3 careers in your lifetime

* Live in up to 3 different worlds

Generation 3: Anger

You had no stability growing up and you resent your upbringing. You aspire to be everything your parent wasn’t, and you’re determined to have the perfect picket fence life that has seemed so out of reach.

Rules for this generation:

* Hotheaded trait

* Move into Brindleton Bay as a young adult and stay there until you die

* Have at least 3 children

* Marry a snob sim

* Divorce your spouse before you become an elder

* Enter either the lawyer, doctor or detective career

Generation Four: Bargaining

Growing up your life seemed cookie cutter perfect, if it wasn’t for the fact your parents were so intent on having this “perfect” life that it became all for show, and you were actually surrounded by shallowness. At first, you follow in your parents footsteps: an exemplary student on your way to becoming a lawyer (despite your protests), until one day you decide enough is enough.

Rules for this generation:

* Be an A student from elementary right through to college

* Enter university and live at home while you’re enrolled

* Drop out of university and move to a different world of your choice

* Enter a creative career of your choice

* Have 2 children by someone your parents wouldn’t approve of (eg slob, unemployed, lazy ect ect)

* Stay with your partner but never marry them

* Live in a tiny home/mobile home

Generation Five : Depression (general tw for this life stage with themes of depression and neglect, if it’s too heavy you may skip to generation six <3 )

You’ve always felt like there was something wrong with you: your parents and sibling were always so carefree, fun and creative, whereas you were the complete opposite. As an introvert with no real drive or ambition, you decide to adopt a child as a young adult in an attempt to find something to focus on. However, the stresses of parenthood send you into a deep depression and you struggle to cope. Your only joy is your childhood best friend who you take with you into adulthood, who eventually ends up moving in with you to support you.

Rules for this generation:

* Must adopt one child as a newborn or infant

* Have the infant age up into a toddler with the unhappy infant trait

* Have a close relationship with your child as they grow older

* Make a best friend in childhood and have them become part of your household when your child is in the child lifestage

* Gloomy and slob traits

* Do various odd jobs until your child becomes a teen and gets a part time job, then live off their income.

Generation Six: Reconstruction

Your home life was a little bleak growing up. You were often left to your own devices/cleaning up after your parent,with most of your basic needs being taken care of by your parents friend who lived with you. With no real ties to any family and very little friends, you boldly decide to move far away from home and build a big bustling family for yourself.

Rules for this generation:

* Big happy family aspiration

* Have 5 children by the same spouse

* Move into a starter home as a young adult and expand the home as your family grows (ideally a farm)

* Live off of the land as much as you can (get cows and chickens ect)

* Elope with your spouse

* Be very good friends with at least three of your children

* Enter the freelancer career

Generation Seven: Acceptance

Your childhood was sheer bliss! You spent your days frolicking in the countryside with your siblings and being nurtured by your parents. You decide you want to raise a family just how you were raised; until you are given the devastating news that you cannot have children. You think about adopting but ultimately decide against it. Instead, you and your spouse spend your days taking in and caring for animals, as well as looking after the local wildlife.

Rules for this generation:

* Have low fertility (must need mods for this)

* Start your own vet clinic with your spouse

* Have at least 3 animals as well as livestock

* Animal enthusiast + self assured traits.
