Hajikei is criminally underrated i need more of them,,

sometimes u just need to b the change u wanna see in the world, and make the content urself, so that’s what i did!

~*~ Hajikei Headcanons! ~*~

• Hajime gives nikei special interviews/pieces of information to help boost his popularity as a journalist 

• Nikei also gets special front-row seats to at least 50% of hajimes matches (all of his big important ones) and does a good job of hyping him up

• nap time is a big thing for them both, since they’re both very active/busy/stressed, so u can often find them curled up together, sleeping 

•nikei only gets away with his unhealthy lifestyle bc hajime is gone training a lot, if hajime were home more often, he’d be a lot healthier 

• hajime is extra hard on nikei, when it comes to pushing him to try and b healthy, bc he wants nikei to be safe and okay

• if hajime ever has to leave for awhile bc of his boxing, nikei always ends up raiding his closet for clothes to wear that remind him of hajime (due to smell, or if hajime wears the article of clothing a lot)

• he only wears them to bed though, or if he’s alone in the house/working in his room 

• speaking of sleep, hajime gets frequent nightmares (almost nightly) of back in t he hospital

• if he wakes up nikei, then nikei will stay up with him until he’s ready to go back to bed, but if nikei stays asleep, hajime will just. kinda pull him closer and use nikei to ground him until he’s relaxed enough to fall asleep

• sometimes hajime sees things that remind him of his old life (the gang part this time) and nikeis gotten good at recognizing when that happens, and knows what triggers can be taken care of which way

• if nikei ever gets triggered/reminded of his past, he’s not super obvious about it, he just gets a shorter temper/snaps at people easier, so hajime will just wait for a bit before pulling him off to the side to talk to him

• these got. kinda dark i’m sorry

• nikei likes to write articles about hajime, the things he does, and all that

• a good majority of them get published, as they either wrap up a few months of hajimes career, or they explore who hajime is outside of boxing 

• when nikei is overworking himself, hajime will just. pick him up from wherever he is, and go workout, throwing nikei over his shoulder while he runs laps, doing push-ups with nikei on his back, etc
