Hey, so i'm going over to Bluesky if anyone wants to find me. I've been growing more suspicious of Tumblr the past year and low and behold, they really have given no fucks like everyone else and has sold all our data. I am by no means a big artist who's in the eyes of these data harvesters, I never intend to become that big or want to, but even then as a smaller artist its still hurtful. G2 Faron!

I swear to god my OC's have different generations like MLP characters SMH-- anyway, I got all giddy and inspired the other day and tried to go back and recreate one of my favorite variants of Faron. This was the second version of them, who for the majority of their lifespan were actually a girl. For one AU though, they were a boy (oh lord the foreshadowing), and looking back I was always fond of it. I love that vision of my old character so much that I've brought them back from the dead as an honest re-portrayal with my current skills and have turned them into something for more modern use.

I'm happy to see a part of my younger self back. It's been around eight years after all.

More doodles for Mabuhay, centering Kidlat! Naturally, as a mongoose, he and his family alike are inborn snake-hunters. Living in an animal world with only some selectively evolved creatures, snakes did not fall in this line, continuing to carry on as large dragon like beasts through the jungles of the Philippines. Kidlat earned a name for himself for being particularly good at taking these beasts down in his youth. Originally an honorary spotlight, Kidlat became popular in the entertainment industry of the Philippines throughout the 1920's as a great fighter and hero in many instances, made even more iconic by his generally unassuming appearance. However, in his later career, Kidlat has become bored of the fame he has garnered himself. Sick of being seen as nothing but a marketable figure, his originally bright mindset became tainted by his influence and wealth, which he used to seek a life of more secretive and.. illegal, dangers. And then there's Cutty, being cute.

Lums

Some concept doodles of my headcanon of what Lums are. I like to imagine them are literal dragon-fly esque, sort of bug like but with long, arboreal arms and giant eyes. They're relatively featureless and ethereal in nature, but are recognized by some form of a O/halo marking, either on their heads or tails. They're invisible, weaving and creating the fibers of the worlds web like the unseen flickering neurons of someone's deepest dreaming- they're truly primordial in nature. Only those within the highest fairy council and great wizards can see and speak to these luminaries, but even then their questions and understanding remain mysterious because of their vagueness. Rayman is the exception though.

Rêveur

Some real good artwork this time, yipee! I've been a Rayman fan since I was like eleven, so almost for a good decade now. He was a Christmas gift to me and I've loved him since. Sometimes life feels really bleak and mundane, and escaping into characters helps. I've been at a distance with Rayman for a few years as I focus on my personal projects, but once in a while, I listen to a soundtrack, and it takes me right back to that literal magical feeling of imagining and being in a world that isn't yours. As goofy as it is, the game and character mean a lot to me, and I feel inspired to create more work for it to bring back that tiny bit of magic I feel.
