So if Gaia isn’t on any of the new planets we have seen this season, is she on earth. I mean her name is Gaia, I did think it was a little on the nose but they’re not being subtle with all the theology, mythology and philosophy shit this season.

That whole episode was some transparent Plato’s Cave bullshit. and I'm sure that while the episode framed Bellamy as the prisoner who broke free of his chains and saw the sun when he accepted “his shepherd” that will all be reversed when it’s shown that Jordan was right about the text and Becca was right about how Bill isn’t ready for Judgement Day. The 100 never needed to be this heavy handed before when it wanted to talk about complex and interesting philosophical concepts. like, my dudes,

I’m so overwhelmingly disappointed in this season. I’m going to keep watching to see where it ends up because it’s obviously not over yet and the ending could completely change my mind. Since a good ending can make up for a lot while also recontextulizing things I didn’t like. But I keep going back to, I think I would be super into this season IF it wasn’t the last one. I wish all of this had been built up before the last season. Yes, I’m some ways it was, but not with what we know now. (Sidenote: why is there a planet that basically exists to indoctornate people into believing that Bill is a god and how come no one (Bell) doesn’t realize that this shit predates some random cult leader finding it and there’s no reason to worship a random dude who found it first???)

Can we just real quick aknowledge that if Clarke behaved the way Echo does, the rest of the gang would probably straight up send her through the vortex, I really want to feel for her but can’t help but be bitter about this.
It’s true, and it’s more than a little frustrating. The coddling that Echo has been getting is frankly kind of ridiculous in my opinion, even if I do see where they’re trying to go with it. It plays into the narrative foil of it all.
Clarke burnt the palace; she refused to kill (who she thought was) Russell, even despite what he’d done and later walked the decisions she’d made in anger back. Echo tried to genocide Bardo; she had no intention at all of standing down until forced.
Clarke found out Bellamy was “dead”; her first instinct was to find the people he cared about and get them out safely. Echo found out Bellamy is “dead”; her first instinct was to impale the closest Disciple (who had nothing to do with his “death”) on the M-Cap machine.
Clarke is reunited with Octavia after finding out Bellamy was “dead”; she immediately pulls her into a hug and connects with her about that loss. Echo is reunited with Octavia after finding out Bellamy was “dead”; she weeps in the corner of their shared cell and refuses any sort of commiseration until forced.
You see where I’m going with this. Don’t get me started about, “Clarke Griffin doesn’t break.”
But yeah. I’m still vividly recalling their treatment of Clarke in seasons five and six over shit that she did to save all of their lives and/or the life of her pre-teen daughter.
Which she was right about, by the way. Not to keep bringing this up, but had everyone listened to Clarke in season five, Sheidheda wouldn’t be a problem right now. That is an issue with direct correlation from “did not listen to Clarke” to “Sheidheda’s Murder Party regains control.”
Anyway. Clarke deserves the opportunity to chew out literally everybody for as long as she pleases. I will die on this hill.

me falling completely head over heels for yet another over the top confident jokester-flirt-rogue character when i KNOW their confidence, humor, and blasé attitude is a blatant facade and coping mechanism for deep-seated trauma:

Ahhh, as someone who likes this season can I just say how much more people would be good with it if it wasn’t the last season. All this buildup, hyping up the war, getting everyone into place, and then having the last season be this big epic war. Imagine it how you will but I think that would have been kick ass
