Still, Chuck was still distracted by earlier events. His ‘pariahship’ as Veronica put it was over but he knew for some he still had a long way to go. He turned his head and lowered his voice and said. “I noticed you didn’t really say much back there.. You don’t agree with V, huh?”

Sure, she’d nodded and smiled, but that could’ve just been her being civil.
