Sooo, I probably should have communicated this earlier in order to set proper expectations and what not. My bad. I'm communicating it now.
Beginning in January 2024, I have enacted a zero-tolerance policy for this blog. If you don't have anything nice to say about Andrew, me, or other Andrew fans, I'm just going to block you.
The entire point of this blog is to support an actor that I love and that I believe does not get the attention and support that he deserves. In the first few months, I was faced with a seemingly endless line of mean unfunny jokes and sarcastic comments that literally drove me off of tumblr for a period, and I was very much on the verge of deleting this blog entirely. It is completely exhausting and demoralizing to be out here, trying to do something nice, and to get nothing but jokes, sarcasm, and rude comments back. And I am now facing personal attacks.
Obviously I haven't deleted the blog, but I did determine that the only way for this to work for me was to set boundaries. I am too old and tired for stupid high school mean girl bullshit. So I'm just not going to put up with it. Especially if you don't follow me, because I am assuming you are not actually a fan of Andrew and any "jokes" you make are not well-intentioned.
I have seen plenty of things posted on this app that I don't care for and/or am not interested in. I do not reblog those posts to make fun of it or disparage the people that do like it. So don't do that to me. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. It's not hard.
To those that have been kind, lovely, and supportive: thank you. It means more to me than you will ever know.
