I was also not a fan at first, and I was convinced that it was going to break a lot of things. But I updated, and it was great! And the updates that it has had since its initial release have been wonderful. Whereas before if my clients wanted DIY design capabilities I needed to opt for a page builder (and compromise performance) or add a bunch of hacky shortcode plugins (and add weight and questionable code) OR build a fully custom design at much greater cost, I can now build 99% of sites with blocks alone.
The learning curve for my clients coming from Wix or SquareSpace type sites is also easier now.

i think it's so funny that tumblr had twitter polls for a week, created every sexy man/entity contest we could in that time, got bored with that, devolved into dadaist baking recipes and art pieces, and then swerved into creating complex mathematical experiments in order to prove laws of statistical analysis and human psychology. great work everyone, no notes
I was asked the following by a friend, but I don’t know of any websites or articles off-hand to point them to. Any furry-positive resources would be welcome 😊
“If I were looking for a informational and non-judgmental piece on furries for a colleague wanting to understand…does that exist?”
Sometimes you meet someone, and it’s so clear so immediately that the two of you, on some level, belong together. As lovers, or as friends, or as family, or as something entirely different. You just work, whether you’re in love or creating things together or foxhole buddies or partners in crime. It’s so clear, right off the bat, that this is what you’re supposed to be doing, that this is what you’re for. You meet these people throughout your life, out of nowhere, under the strangest of circumstances, and they help you make a life. I don’t know if that makes me believe in coincidence, or fate, or sheer blind luck, but. It definitely makes me believe in something.
