I’m just stopping by again to remind the followers I still have on this blog who still wish to follow me that I have started over at @undead-moth. Follow me there instead. <3

Alright. I wasn’t going to, but I think I have to leave the tog fandom and tumblr. I’m not going to deactivate, because at some point, I’m sure I’ll want to know how some of my mutuals are doing or refer to old posts I’ve reblogged, but this blog is now inactive. I’ve hurt people and there’s no taking it back. I’m sorry. I’m sorry especially to those I spoke over in the past, or argued with. I was ignorant and it won’t happen again.
finding out athletes have to stop taking their meds for the olympics to compete is fucked up because of how they show up in drug tests. like the common side effect during the transition of anti-depressants is vertigo so like it’s fucked up that you have to choose between your safety and performing. that’s ableist as fuck. professional athletes in the nba, wnba, nhl, pga, mlb, nfl, etc don’t have to do that, why should olympians???
i know a lot ot us have that "what if i'm actually annoying" fear, and while i COULD self-soothe with affirmations like "i'm not annoying, it's okay" i prefer "it is my human right to be annoying and cringe"
genuinely if you want to start baking but are intimated by the cost or skill level, start with making shortbread. it’s just sugar, butter and flour, you mix it by hand (literally, you don’t use a spoon) and most of the time you can add a little extra something to make it fancier. it comes together in under an hour, and immediately gives you the ‘:00!!!! I made this!!!!’ feeling all good baking does. I made earl grey flavoured ones literally just by adding earl grey tea leaves!!! they tasted amazing!!!!
