Feeling a lot better now that I've accomplished a thing.

It's moved, in place, and secured.

And an added bonus, I placed the framing I worked on yesterday. Still need to frame up the roof, put the doors together, and then all the bits and bobs, but I am feeling a lot better now.

Called in today because I guess I have no self control. Slept the entire time I should have been at work. But I've also gotten this coop thing moved halfway. Through the most treacherous part of the path, at least. Couldn't have gotten it past the compost without my wife, that's for sure. I suppose, at least I should have one thing accomplished today.

#that's a hard one #my favorite bands tend to be categorized more as metalcore more often than not #though I despise Killswitch Engage specifically because their new singer's voice is the WORST and he's still in the old stuff #melodic death metal is a very very close second - which is neither really the death metal nor symphonic metal #though I do love me some good symphonic metal: Leaves' Eyes being my go-to #industrial metal is fine though I tend toward German industrial metal (just not Rammstein so much) #honestly looking at the bands sampled for the metalcore option I generally dislike most of those #but I looked up my go-to top bands and they're metalcore #nu metal got me into metal #do I think it's really metal metal? absolutely not but it was my gateway and I'll have respect for it #the rest I either don't actually know or I really don't like #like traditional heavy metal? please keep it away from me

My doe that did a great job depositing her buttload of babies into the nestbox still has eight babies! They're fun colors! Including a broken black. <3
