Spending time with Danny was fresh air, still is but add a minor inconvenience. Feelings. How was I not going to fall for him when he picked me up during a shitty time and purposely tried his best to distract me. “We can leave today, get there extra early to sightsee.” He says looking away clearing his throat.

“Sounds good to me” I say while tucking my head back into his chest. He puts his hand on my head then press a kiss to my scalp. Or I’m tripping and he just is resting his head.

“Let me change and put my stuff together. Which you need to do too” I state pulling away, look at his face it seemed like he was thinking of something. “Dannyyy” I call out break the trance.

“Yeah..” he trails off hiding a confused face. Walking away to exactly what I said I was going to do but by the time I’m ready, Danny is staring at his phone. Sitting next to him on the couch laying my head on his shoulder, “what’s wrong” I mumble causing him to tense.

“Danny” I say moving my head from his shoulder to look at him. Still he looks down at his phone which has Twitter open with tweets about me and him, lando drama and people thinking something is going on with Carlos.

“You know the things they say is just to hurt us.” I state putting my hand on his arm.

“The comments is the closest thing to a conversation me and him had in the past two months.” I answer looking at him who’s now looking at his darkened phone screen.

“Danny…” I trail off putting my hand on his chin turning his head. “There’s more clearly, what’s going on” I ask rubbing my thumb on his jawline. His eyes flick between my eyes and lips once again.

“I…I fell in love with you. I know you’re just getting out of a relationship which is making it harder.” He sighs while examining my face causing me to smile a little.

“It’s okay” I state with my hand still on his jawline.

“What do you mean?” He asks putting his hand over my wrist holding my hand to his face.

“I did too, I didnt want to say anything because I don’t want you to think you’re just a rebound.” I respond causing him to look shocked.

“How long?”

“I don’t know, I just noticed the things you did that no one else did for me. You make me feel special and no one has done that before.” I reply looking into his eyes. His eyes move to down to my lips again, this time I do the same. Shifting his hand from my wrist he moves it to my waist.

“Do it” with those 2 words his lips are on mine. The hand that was on his jawline moves to his hair. He pulls my waist more towards him before moving me onto his lap. You reached for your phone in your back-pocket - feeling it buzz with thousands of calls. "I have to take this," you smiled at the duo. Quickly fading into the background.

"Hello," you inquired with an annoyed tone. This was supposed to be time for your daughter - and you didn't plan to take any calls. "Y/N, what the fuck!?" your best-friend yelled from the other side of the phone. "What?" you breathed - slightly panicked.

There was only one time that your best-friend used that tone: When you told her that you were divorcing Toto. "You and Toto are fucking viral everyone. Everyone thinks that you're dating each other." she said in a hurried pace, and you could feel your world collapse.

He was your forbidden fruit, a thing that you weren't allowed to have but was delighted to get. He was everything that you needed - all of your dreams pressurized to form a single man - too bad, he took the form of your father's hated enemy.

"Are you nervous?" you ask while adjusting his tie. "Yes," he responded truthfully while pressing a soft kiss on your forehead. "Did you warn them about me?" he inquired with his thick Austrian accent. Your eyebrows merged into each other.

"I gave them a brief description about you." you brushed against the topic, afraid that he'd be mad at you too. "Old Austrian Businessman, who has a knack for dating his enemy's daughter." he gave a brief description of himself - pressing another kiss on your forehead. "You're not old." you pout. He was perfectly aged.

"Are you ready to meet them? We can reschedule," you give him one last change in changing his mind. "No, I'm ready perle." he hummed, taking your hand and pulling you away from the porch.

You raise your eyebrows at the sight of his car. "Not using the Mercedes?" you teased, seeing him open the door for you. "Might be too much on the noose, yeah?" he smiled, helping you inside.

To your surprise, your father was already standing in the driveway.

"Shit," Toto chuckles, his hand was on your thigh - other hand on the steering-wheel. "Ready to meet the wolves?" you take a deep breath, seeing that Christian was already walking towards the car. "It's a good thing that we had a shot of vodka for luck," he mumbled - seeing his sworn enemy open the door for you.

"(Your Name)," your father greeted with hidden warmth, he barely acknowledged your presence - his eyes were already pierced on the man in the driver's seat. "Dad," you exchange a glance with Toto.

"What is he doing here?" your father placed a hand on your shoulder. "I was going to tell you sooner," you began to explain - seeing your mother in your periphery. "Nice to meet you, Christian." Toto smiled - deciding to put the f1 business behind them.

"Aren't you going to invite us inside?" your eyes narrowed, forcing the door wide open and taking a step out of the car.

For middle aged men - they both acted like kids.

"So uh, Toto. How's Mercedes?" your mother attempted to create small talk, but Christian was evidently upset. "Amazing, we've done a few changes in the car." he smiled, glancing at your face and searching for signs of sadness. "How about Redbull?" he stared at your father - waiting for a reply.

"That's classified," he says in a polite tone, returning back to his penne pasta. Your mind began to flash back to the times where your father would complain about Toto, in your opinion - it was childish rivalry - and they would do better as friends.

Your mother gives him a 'look' while taking a sip of her juice.

"How did you meet each other?" your mother interrogated, searching for cracks in the relationship - fortunately there weren't any. "Do you remember the dinner that dad forced me to attend? The one with Lewis and Max," you reminded - smiling at your father as he attempts to mask his disappointment. You expected him to send Toto home - you were thankful for your father's self-control.

"Oh, the one I had to drag you to attend." Christian chuckled, remembering all of the excuses that you came up with. "I met him there," you placed your hand on top of Toto's.

"Ah," he replied - keeping his eyes on the food.

The dinner was short - it only lasted for an hour. Toto and Christian were trying their best to eat as fast as they can. Your father didn't even let anyone have ice cream. He was adamant in sending Toto home. "Bye," you wave at the window - seeing his car fade from view.

"We need to talk," your parents welcome you on the couch. A sigh escapes your mouth - already anticipating the outcome of this conversation. "I know that you like dating older boys," your father began - attempting to sound like a cool dad.

"- but I don't think that Toto's a good choice." he raised his arms in mock surrender. "I'm an adult, I don't need your unsolicited advise." you start in a calm tone - your voice was always gentle. "Do you remember the last time you brought an older guy home? What did he do? Ride off you career, and treat you like...shit." your mother hesitated with the cursing but your father agreed.

"That was different, I was a teenager." you groan - annoyed that they were using their faults against you. I mean, everyone could see that he was bad news - parents shouldn't be letting their seventeen year old daughter date a twenty two year old. "I'm grown now, and I know that Toto's a good guy." you defended your boyfriend.

"And if you're going to throw hate against him, I can't sit here and take that." you grab your coat that was conveniently placed beside you. "I-I want you to think about this." your father referred to you by your family nickname. "I will," you respond while walking out.

Description: Carlos Sainz used to be your babysitter, now that you were older - you meet him in the paddocks, and an affair ensues.

It is a common saying that women are delicate creatures, flowers, eggs, anything that may be crushed in a moment of carelessness. If you had believed it, you no longer did.

You used to belong in the upper echelon. Dinner parties, soirees, expensive bags and yacht parties. There wasn't a thing in this world that you couldn't afford - well, that was the past, and ever since your father's death, the family has been a little tight on money.

"Can you handle writing the reports for this new car? The dudes want to grab a few drinks, and you didn't wanna come with." your co-worker leans on the wall beside your desk and you respond with a hum. "I have all the time in the world." you answer, typing a few emails before turning your head in his direction.

"- what time do you need those reports done?" you inquired and he stared at the ceiling. "Preferably before 10, but it'll be okay if you send them tomorrow." he answered, walking away as he sees the other guys in his peripheral view.

As one of the interns in Ferrari - you were in the bottom of the food chain. Unpaid overtimes, too much workload and too little rest was basically normal for you.

"Santisima trinidad!" you exclaimed seeing another man inside of the garage when you opened the lights. "Carlos, I didn't see you there." you scratched the back of your head, keeping your eyes on the floor.

He'd never recognize you, last time he saw you - you were five years old and that was sixteen years ago. "I'm sorry for scaring you." he chuckled, while taking a sip of his beer. "I was just checking the car," he reasoned, placing his phone on his back pocket.

"In the dark?" you asked.

"I couldn't find the light switch." he blushed. Deciding that it was probably a conversation that he wasn't comfortable with, you take a step forward, holding the clipboard close to your chest. He stares at your face for a moment, eyes trailing back and forth between your eyes and your lips.

"You look familiar, do I know you from somewhere?" he stared deeper into your eyes. A chill runs down your spine. There was no way that you'd let him recognize you - it would be awkward. A gigantic elephant in the middle of the room.

"I'm Ferrari's new intern. I think we already met each other back in Spa." you navigated yourself out of the ridiculous predicament. He licks his lips, and suddenly the atmosphere thickens. "Well, you look good." he gives you a micro-smile, walking away from the garage.

As his shadow retreats from view, you let out a breath that you weren't aware that you were holding.

Why would you want me to go for him?" your eyes narrowed, annoyed that you were even involved with him in a conversation involving love.

"He'll change for you - and if he doesn't, at least you experienced the feeling of having him love you." Paige mused.

"Sounds chauvinistic." you shrug and she rolls her eyes. "Take one good look at his face, cuz' if you're asking me. I'd rather find ruin in his hands than with some other cheap fuck." she tried to convince you, but you already wanted Carlos Sainz Jr. the moment you talked to him inside of that dark garage.

After the main event, you were quickly whisked off to one of the after-parties. The club was pumping, the music was about to make your ears explode, but suddenly someone's hands were on the small of your back. You turn your head, and you meet his brown ones.

"I'm not that kind of person. I'm sorry, this was a mistake." you bolted out of your seat, retreating into the sea of people in front of you.

PART 6 | AFTER FIVE YEARS

Pairing: Carlos Sainz x Reader

Summary: Carlos Sainz finally met his son he had with her ex-wife, Y/N.

You choose a casual and comfortable outfit for the day: a white tee, beige trousers, and a white cardigan, and finish it off by spraying Chanel Paris Deauville on your neck and wrist.

“Mama, where are you going?” Asks Cael, who is lying on your bed, watching you get ready.

You sit on the edge of the bed and stroke your son's hair. “Remember what you told Mama yesterday when we were having pancakes? You said you wanted to see Papa and watch his race. So, Mama is going to see Papa today and ask if you can watch his race,” you gently explain.

“Really Mama? You'll meet Papa?” Cael sits up, flashing a vibrant smile.

“Yes, my love. I can't bring you because Papa and I need to talk first. But someone who misses you is coming to take care of you,” you say, placing Cael on your lap and planting a kiss on his plump cheeks. He gives you a confused face, wondering who's been missing him.

“You wanna take a guess?” you ask, smiling at your son who is trying to figure it out.

“Is it Uncle Charles, Mama?” Cael guesses.

“Oh, how did you know?” you ask, surprised that he got it right.

“He always misses me. He says so even though we often meet, Mama,” Cael says, causing you to laugh.

As you two are playing in your bedroom, the doorbell rings. It's Charles.

“Hey buddy!” Charles immediately lifts Cael, ignoring you who opened the door for him.

“Hello to you too Charles,” you said sarcastically.

“Hello, Y/N” he said, greeting you too late.

“Thanks for coming, Charles,” you say, while he's busy kissing your son.

“But stop smooshing your face on my son's face. It’s a bit too much,” you add.

“Can't help it, he is so cute,” Charles replies.

“I'll go now, please take care of him,” you say, kissing your son goodbye. And before you can even open the door, Charles yells something.

“Don't forget to bring a condom!”

“Shut up, Charles” you said while flashing your middle finger to him.

“Uncle Charles, what's a condom?” Cael asked him.

“Uhm, it's a balloon bud. So you won't have another sibling when they get back.” Charles grins at Cael who is confused about how a balloon prevents him from having a baby brother or sister.

When you arrive at the restaurant, Carlos is already there waiting for you. He greets you with a smile as you approach his table. The atmosphere feels lighter than the last time you two met.

Maybe it's just the sunlight that makes everything seem brighter.

“Did you already order?” you immediately ask as you sit down.

“Uhm, not yet,” Carlos replies. You call out for the waiter to order.

As you scan the menu, Carlos interjects, “You want your usual?” Surprised, you nod and let him order for you.

“One creamy mushroom pesto for her, please, and one tomato pasta for me,” he orders.

So he still remembers what I like. Interesting.

“Thank you for coming, Y/N. I'm sorry about..” Carlos starts.

“Let's not talk about it Carlos. I'm good, we're good. Things like that happen,” you interrupt. Carlos can tell that you're still upset about what he said but you want to move past it.

“We came here to Madrid because Cael has been asking for you. He badly wants to meet you.”

“I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner about our son because, well, things happened between us,” you say, lowering your gaze to the table.

“I understand, Y/N. Like you said, things happen,” Carlos replies.

“He knows you, Carlos. He knows what you do. He knows that you're his father. You just have to meet him,” you say, meeting his gaze and offering a small smile.

“Thank you, Y/N.”

The pastas arrive and you both start to eat.

“I'm so excited to finally introduce myself to him. But I'm also kinda nervous,” Carlos admits.

“You don't have to worry about it, Carlos. Your son really loves you,” you reassure him.

“Can you tell me about Cael? Like when he was born? What does he like? How is he?” Carlos asks shyly. He wants to get to know his son and catch up on the four years he's missed.

“Well, Cael was born on March 15. He's really cute, looks just like you,” you begin.

“So you're telling me I'm cute?” Carlos teases, interrupting you. You give him a stern look before continuing.

“Ugh, I hate your smile,” you say, rolling your eyes at him.

The audacity of this man, really.

“He loves cars, I think more than you do. He's also very smart and observant. Our son is very empathetic,” you continue.

“Really?”

“Yeah, you'll be amazed when you finally get to know him,” you assure him.

“How about you? How are you?” he asks.

“You have nothing to do with me, let's keep it that way,” you say, putting up an immediate barrier. You can only allow Carlos to be part of your son's life, but not yours. He caused too much damage in the past, and you won't allow further heartbreak.

I've had enough, Carlos.

After an hour or two, you and Carlos drive to your place. You're silent the whole time, thinking about how happy Cael will be to finally meet his father.

Before you can even get out of the car, Carlos takes a deep breath.

“Hey, look at me, Carlos. Don't worry, okay? Everything will be fine,” you say, absentmindedly cupping his face.

“Sorry,” you apologize, removing your hands from his face.

“It's okay,” Carlos says, amidst the awkwardness.

Once inside, you find Charles playing with Cael in the living room. Cael immediately runs to you when he sees you.

You enter first while Carlos waits outside for your signal.

“Hey, how was it?” Charles asks, referring to your meeting with Carlos.

“He's outside,” you mouth, while holding your son.

“Okay, my job is done. I'll go now, Y/n. You two take care.” Charles fist bumps with Cael before leaving. He sees Carlos standing at the door and wishes him luck.

“Cael, honey. Do you remember Uncle Chili?” Cael nods at you.

“You mentioned that he looks like Papa, right? Actually, he doesn't just look like Papa. He is Papa,” you explain.

“Really Mama? So Uncle Chili is my Papa?” Cael's face lights up. You nod and open the door.

“Hey bud,” Carlos greets Cael.

“PAPA!” Cael immediately runs to Carlos. Their embrace is warm and heartfelt, much like the first time they met.

“Thank you,” Carlos mouths to you in between their hugs and tears of joy begin to fall from his eyes.

so in my brain, Carlos has this plan about his babies with ll in large part due to his biological clock ticking. he’s several years older than ll, and mans is ready. like he’s not pressuring his sweet girl, by any means. but he is trying to show that’s he’s capable. like he wants to be this wealth of knowledge to reassure ll that she’s she’s going to have to as little of the heavy lifting as possible. he’s 100% going to be a hands on hand dad with the hot young wife.

"should i prepare my heart?" carlos looks up from his book, finding you looking at him with a curious expression.

"hermosa," he smiles at you, beckoning you over to press a sweet lingering kiss on your lips. "you came back early." he comments, as he dutifully helped you take off your coat.

you hum picking up the book he was so focused with reading; what to expect when you're expecting. raising your eyebrows, you look at your boyfriend who merely grins at you.

"did you get some body else knocked up or..."

"no!" he says defensively. carlos wraps an arm on your shoulder and presses you against his chest, "it's for us. so i know what to expect, when we're expecting."

you giggled, "bit too early isn't it?"

carlos shrugs his shoulders, "you can never be too prepared, or too informed."

"are these what came in the packages? all.. pregnancy books?" you ask, peering up at him.

he smiles, "hmm. i want to be the best papá, because you're already the best mama." he adds sweetly.

"Whatcha reading?" You looked up from your book, greeting your lover with a quick peck as he settled into the bed beside you. "Nothing much," You shrugged it off, snuggling closer to him to share needed warmth for the night. Carlos leaned his chin on your head watching you flip through the pages and read the words.

Soon enough you started to feel the hand wrapped around your hip squeeze, fingers drawing little circles. A moment after you could feel the soft kisses he pressed along your cheek down to your shoulder. It was clear as crystal, what he was asking from you. "I wanna sleep." You whined softly against his lips as he tilted your head to face him.

"But I won Singapore." Was the soft whine that came from him. His big ass cow eyes staring into your soul, like a puppy in love with its owner begging for a treat. His eyes were always your weakness, how could you say no to such Leonardo DaVinci craft? The two of you stared at each other, trying to convince your own opinion.

"I'll be quick." "Fuck it." You give in, tossing the hard cover aside and pulling your shirt off.

Carlos welcomed you on his lap, letting you undress him. His fingers danced along your back and waist, kissing you messily as you pulled his sweat pants and boxer shorts down. You loved the way moans vibrated in his throat as he dipped to leave soft kisses on your neck. A soft giggle left your own lips as you watched him look up at you with those big eyes, holding your hips and kissing under your chin.

You couldn’t help the smile that played on your lips as you played with the fluff on hair on his head. "You're so cute." You mumbled leaning down. His boxer shorts were pulled down with you getting comfortable between his thighs. Carlos looked down at you with a gulp. "Don't you dare close those big eyes of yours." He nodded quickly, bushing his fingers in his hair as he watched you.

He sucked in a breath, feeling warmth wrap around him. A strangled moan left his mouth as he watched himself disappear inside your lips. "Amore." [love] He whined, leaning his head back and closing his eyes. The sensation always sent jolts of ecstasy though his body.

An even louder moan left his body as he felt the vibration from your hum on his length, starting the countdown till the coil to his orgasm snaps. A tap to his hip reminded him that he was supposed to keep his eyes open But they felt to heavy, watching you do him like that. "Nunca había visto algo tan hermoso." You found yourself giggling, tipping backwards on the bed and pulling Carlos down with you, him on top. He didn't hesitate to initiate the thrusts, pressing his forehead to yours. "Don't look at me, look at us." You pushed his face away gently. He knew what that meant, gulping as he watched himself disappear inside of you then reappear then disappear once more.

"I'm so close my love." He begged practically, accent think and muscles wrapped around you. Who ever thought such a big man would be this small. "Wait for me." You ordered, fingers finding the fluff on his head. Carlos shook his head quickly, telling you he couldn't wait.

"You don't want to make me mad now right?" He nodded quickly, letting you turn them over so he was on top. "Be a good boy then, amor."

Carlos looked down at you, brushing some strands of your hair off your face. You were in your rented out penthouse apartment in Monaco, sunbathing in the beautiful Wednesday weather with your son exploring the huge balcony. Carlos ( your husband ) was spooning you, wrapping his arms around your belly softly.

"You think it's going to be a girl." He whispered in your ear pressing a loving kiss to the spot behind your ear. "I want another boy." You replied, a soft hum escaping your mouth. "I can't have two boys named Carlos."

You opened your eyes looking at him unimpressed. Your husband only laughed kissing you lovingly, stroking your stomach. Since your son was born, Carlos ( your husband ) had decided to name him after his father: Carlos.

Did that make him Carlos jr jr? Carlos the II? Carlos III? And since you were living with the Sainzs, finding people in the house got easily confusing, to the point that you had to put numbers after the names.

"Mama! Mirar!" [look] You pulled away from Carlos 3 ( your husband ) looking at Carlos 2 (your son). Once he saw you were looking, he threw the plastic balls he had as far as he could in the water. This made your heart warm a smile reaching your face as you clapped proudly. "Vamos, Carlos." Your husband cheered.

You son smiled, wobbling to where you and Carlos 3 laid on the lounge. He climbed up the seat with your help, collapsing in your arms, tired from how much he was running around. "Ese fue un muy buen tiro" [that was a very good throw] You praised kissing his temple.

You turned around with Carlos 2 in your arms so he was sandwiched between you and Carlos 3. "¿Vas a ser un lanzador algún día? Porque eres muy fuerte." [You going to be a pitcher one day? Cause you're very strong] You asked tickling your son's neck making him giggle. "De ninguna manera, él va a conducir autos como papá, ¿no es así?" [No way, he's going to drive cars like daddy, isn't that right] Carlos 3 chuckled, kissing his son's cheek.

"¡sí!" [yeah] Your son exclaimed grabbing his dads nose, standing up between you two. You laid on your back watching the two interact. "Yo ganaré." [I'm going win!] Although the idea of your son racing scared you, you could only smile at him brushing the soft hair on his head.

It was already Saturday and you were walking through the paddock with your two Carlos-es ( what's the plural of Carlos? ). Carlos 2, wearing red bull merch (much to his father's dislike because you were a redbull fan and max somehow convinced carlos 2 to also become one), was sat on his dads shoulders, holding on his hair for stability.

Carlos 3 was holding your hand with his free one while you two walked through the garage. "Looks like it's going to rain." Carlos 3 mumbled, looking out at the weather. "You'll be fine." You assured leaning up to kiss his cheek, before gently removing your son from off his shoulders.

"Noooo." [noooo] Carlos 2 whined trying to reach his father. "Quiero papa." [i want dad] "Pero papá va a manejar" [But papa's got to drive.] "Pero quiero papa" [But I want papa] ouch. "Why dont we spend time with mama till papa finishes" You offered kissing his cheek gently. "We can go explore or pull out your toys till papa finishes, how about that?" "Bueno." [okay] He nodded, you had him once he heard explore or toys.

"Di hasta pronto papa" [say, seen you soon papa] You son only waved at his dad, receiving a quick kiss from him before the driver disappeared. "Podemos salir afuera" [can we go outside] "Por supuesto, mi amor." [of course my love]

Once Carlos 3 pulled up in Parc Freme, you two were the first to greet him. While you weren't a Ferrari fan, you still supported your husband, wearing his cap because you didn't want to buy one. Once you celebrated with your husband, you went to cheer for Max, who had gotten pole.

When Sunday morning came, you had to leave and go back to Madrid due to an emergency with work. Carlos 3 was only able to get his son to wear the chili bucket hat for the weekend, carrying his son through the grid decked in redbull merch.

"Well hello there." An interviewer greeted. "Good morning. di buenos dias, Carlos." [say good morning] Your husband instructed, but he only watched his son shrink into his chest shyly. "What's your name?" The interviewer asked. "He's not very good at english, mama's still teaching him." Carlos 3 spoke for his son, translating what the woman asked.

"Carlos." The boy replied quietly. "Really? How old are you, Carlos?" after receiving the translation the boy held up three fingers, looking at them confused. "There we go." His father fixed them for him, fixing the three to a four. "Cuatro." he held up his fingers. "Very big then huh?" Carlos 3 only looked at his son, gently kissing his temple.

You were glad the first part of the race took place during your breaktime, watching your son and husband on TV. "And we're expecting a second Sainz yes?" "A girl, I'm praying it's a girl."

You chuckled at him, shaking your head at the screen. "Decir adiós a mamá, Carlos." [say bye bye to mama, carlos] Your husband told his son once the interview was over, pointing at the camera. "Te extraño mamá." [i miss you mama] Your son waved shyly, a smile on his face that only made his heart warm. "Eh? But it's more fun with me, no? Nos vemos, mi amor." [see you later my love]
