When I was in elementary school, my brother gave me his old mp3 player full of punk music. In 2nd grade I was listening to Tsunami Bomb, Operation Ivy, Rancid…
I listened to Take the Reigns tonight. I remember it being my favorite Tsunami Bomb song as a kid. It still is. I needed to hear something that reminded me of him. Not exactly a song I ever thought would make me cry, yet here we are.
I know how much he loved this music. There’s a little bit of him there, when I hear it. I hope there always will be.
