I have finished the concept of the Lucifer angel characte.

Lucifer the angel (sketch) is the first of Yahweh's angels, the fiery seraphim (the first of the four hierarchies in the conceived setting). According to the plot, one of the main characters of the story.

The former head of the seraphim, who managed to turn a third of the angels against their creator, Yahweh. However, after losing the rebellion, he was banished from the Empyrean into the abyss and cursed by Yahweh along with the rebels.

The reasons for his unexpected rebellion will be discussed during the plot of the future comic.

I'm still choosing the background style for the project. I liked the not too complicated, but nevertheless quite detailed backgrounds from the animated series "Krapopolis".

However, the lines of my characters are much thicker in style. I don't want to reduce their outline, I think it looks good to them) But if you make the same stroke on the background objects, the part merges with the stroke of the characters.

Here I colored the background lines in color, but either the background itself had to be tried to draw completely clean (carefully) and compare the result, or thick lines on the background are not suitable for characters with exactly such a thick contour). So, I'll need to experiment with the background some more.

Although honestly, it's already better than the last piece of soap in the background😅

I'm preparing the concept of a minor character - Isis.

Isis is an Egyptian goddess, symbolizing the ideal of femininity and motherhood in the original myth. These traits passed to her from the goddess Hathor, who was widely revered in the more ancient centuries, before the heyday of the cult of Osiris. With the spread of the cult of Osiris, Isis surpassed many goddesses in popularity, including Hathor, absorbing the features and powers of several old goddesses and combining them.

In my story, since Isis will be the daughter of Thoth and Maat, not Nut and Heb, Isis will have the cunning and intelligence of her parents, and not magic, as in the original myth. According to the idea, the powers of the gods will be different - logically justified, not by magic.

Angel Mikael is the second of Yahweh's angels, Kerub. The angels of this hierarchy can control the elements of the earth, cultivate the plant world. He is the first-created angel of Yahweh, kerub, as a result, became the head of the hierarchy.

Mikael is calm and balanced, it is difficult to get him out of himself. He is fair to everyone. An example to follow, does everything conscientiously and according to the rules. But it is precisely the trait of most kerubs - to do everything within the rules, which does not allow them to do and strive for more than simple obedience to Yahweh.

Hatmet is the Egyptian goddess of love, dancing, entertainment and music. According to the plot, at the sight or smell of blood, a bloodthirsty personality (Sekhmet) manifests itself in peaceful Hatmet.

In the original mythology of ancient Egypt, each nome (city) had its own pantheon of gods. Since the Egyptians did not seek to bring it to a single classification, some gods could periodically combine and replace others. As a result, most of the gods of Heliopolis - the Heliopolis Ennead (nines in Greek) are not particularly ancient. They were formed by accommodating several slightly older gods, combining their functions.

Sekhmet, Bast and Hathor are no exception. Now it is quite difficult to understand which of the goddesses is more ancient, but as a result, each of them can be identified with the other, even Hathor. Although the original animal of this goddess was a cow - the Egyptians depicted her human version decorated with cow horns on her head, later she became identified with the lion-headed goddesses Sekhmet and Tefnut + Bast, as a peaceful version of Sekhmet.

So I decided to just combine all 3 goddesses into one person, since all 3 characters are not needed in the plot. Therefore, her name is Hatmet: (Hat)hor + Sekh(met). The cat's slightly playful behavior will remain from Bast.

In this blog, first of all, I will post the developments on my project - a webcomic under the working title "Fiasco".

Briefly about the comic

The plot is based on a mixture of 3 mythologies: Egyptian, Jewish and Greek.

The story will consist of 3 seasons, it will reveal who the god Yahweh is, tell about the reasons for the rebellion of his angels, how they settled in hell and explain the connection of the Jewish god with the mentioned mythologies.
