STORYLINE:

Trouble Comes Twice features two playable protagonists, twins Jace and Hazel. A confident flirt with a narcissistic streak, Jace has breezed through most of his life thanks to his charm and good looks but lacks ambition. On the other hand, Hazel is a talented albeit short-tempered pianist who has few friends due to the haughty facade she uses tho hide her social awkwardness. Already halfway through their university years, the twins realize neither of them have ever been in love before. Like any other not-so-rational person, the twins decide to turn finding love into a competition. Whoever gets into a relationship first wins.

ok but M feeling guilty over what happened at the bakery even if the detective didn’t seem bothered by it and apologizing to them and dropping the petname and calling them by their actual name for the first time ever and looking so distraught and genuinely confused because they don’t understand what’s going on but they just know that they don’t want the detective to be mad at them AND ALSO how they’ll wrap their arm around the detective to walk them to their room if they acted like nothing was wrong when they first got to the warehouse, even though they’re wet and covered in plaster and the strong smell from yu’s bath water and its probably not a nice sensation for M but they don’t even mind because its their detective. and how they actually admit out loud that with them its different. and also when they immediately get protective/possessive over the detective when bobby shows up and later when they kiss the detective’s cheek in an act of innocent affection with none of the usual flirting behind it

Hello everyone! I have some great news! An Elemental Existence’s first three chapters are now available on Tales.

An Elemental Existence was, once upon a time, What a Brilliant Existence!, based on ChoiceScript. It is now, however, available on Tales, a mobile app for interactive stories. WaBE’s old demo will be removed from the Choice of Games Forum, though don’t worry - if any of you miss it, you can just shoot me a DM and I’ll send the DashingDon link to you.

This is a very different version of WaBE, and I can’t say I ever expected it would turn into this way back in 2019, when I first wrote it. I hope you enjoy it! I worked very hard on it and genuinely believe the story benefits more from this different, more visual medium.

• your friends died about 2,000 times in other timelines

• Aleister is a clone of Everett

• Estela is Everett’s daughter, not MC like they made us suspect in the same chapter

• you are the spirit of an Island and only came to life because some sweet boy was lonely and wanted a friend

This is a game project in worldbuilding and development mode right now. It is a planned dungeon crawler / otome hybrid. I have been working on it for a long time, but due to illness, the project stopped over the last three years. Weirdly enough, probably K? Maybe Rosy. Let's call it a tie.

K is more immature about their possessiveness ("This person is my person and no one else can touch or look at them because I don't like it"), whereas Rosy is the "you are my everything" version of commitment (they bring the ring).

Finished Coding and Editing! 🎉

All new chapters are thus added to the game which now stands at a total of 872k words - code excluded. To be honest, it stopped at a point where I could submit it as it is to Hosted Games and be a decent first book of the series. Both in size and, most importantly, in plot too.

The temptation is there, but I want to add two more chapters before calling this creation done.

So instead, I’ll be sending the private link to my testers in the coming week. Which makes me so nervous! I don’t know why, but making this private “update” is more nerve-wracking than a public one. I suppose it’s like giving a presentation to a small group instead of hundreds. When it’s small, you can see their individual faces, stare at their eyes, see for yourself the disappointment. Whether a crowd will blend together and it’s easy to pretend the world is no more than you.

But I’ll send the link. I may have to force myself, but I’ll do it. I need feedback desperately.

This took me… way longer than I thought 😄I seriously miscalculated how long reading, editing, and coding over 300k words would take. But the branchiest chapters are behind, and now we head to the end. I’ll be taking a few days off writing and then come back in full force. I want to have the first draft of chapter 6 done before Christmas.

As a celebration, I thought I could share the official cover art!

Your last delivery ended with you – or rather the body you have decided to take over that day – as well as your delivery getting killed. The boss is pissed now and demands you fix your mistake or else you’ll be a head shorter.
