He damp

Meet the common rain frog (Breviceps adspersus)! This frog lives in parts of Africa, including Zimbabwe, Botswana, and South Africa, where it inhabits savanna and shrubland. Following a heavy rain in spring or early summer, it emerges from its burrow to mate. Its burrows are typically found in areas below a rock or log where the soil retains a level of moisture. Fun fact: It has horn-like projections on its heels to help it effectively dig backwards!

Jellycat's most distinctive and best-selling frog, Ricky Rain Frog is a wonderfully creative, charming boy! They get points for giving us an almost accurate representation of this species (except for the green fur)

I personally don't find him cute, but I know a lot of people are obsessed with him and think he's adorable. He unfortunately doesn't score many points on cuddliness (the one thing I would have definitely improved about this design), but he is nice to hold and squeeze tight.

More a desk or travel companion than a couch cuddle buddy, Ricky Rain Frog is perhaps a little overhyped, but still a loveable frog full of personality!
